I did not find anything attractive about this town apart that it is relatively much quieter and less polluted than the other towns I visited on the North.
A clean and quaint little group of hamlets with tiny streets and beautiful bungalows ans villas, lots to see and do, especially if you like heritage buildings and culture, locals are very helpful and friendly.
Interesting city. places of interest worth a visit, Chinese fishing nets and markets especially at sunset.
I love this place. Food is nice. We enjoyed the massage and the locals are very friendly. This is my second visit and I will go again.
Food quality is very high (especially sea foods). We enjoyed restaurants in Fort Kochi area and houseboat.
Fort Kochi is a small island I was visiting for the second time after 11 years. a lot has changed about this place.
We had only an overnight stay, but the shopping area we saw was large and with a variety of well-priced goods.
It was my first visit to cochin. It was very enjoyable. I was on a business trip. The people are friendly, place is very beautiful.
LULU mall is interesting for shopping. Lots of culture places to visit. OK beach. SPA is good. a lot of ayurvedic treatment.
Not too many things to do. I will prefer to head straight for Munnar, instead of spending a say in kochi
Penduduk ramah dan senang membantu..Kebersihan kurang terjaga..wifi perlu ditingkatkan agar mudah untuk pelancong menghubungi dunia luar.
the Portuguese vibe and the trading harbour were somehow familiar to us as we are European citizens and have visited Goa many times, but the lush greenery as soon as you leave Kochi, the exceptionally sharp-minded people, and the utter respect for Nature made what they call God's country a vibrant blend of British education, environment-friendly and respect for the wildlife : a spiritual experience!
This city has inhibitted all levels of people. There is gulf money- investors in B establishments, Real estate; Middle class are in jobs; Below the poverty line people are striving hard to earn their daily bread.
We stayed there half a day. This is only sufficient if you want to see quickly the main sites. You can easily spend more time.
Make friends with the local and it will make your life easier. If you happen to be in Fort Kochi, the best way to explore the island is by cycling.
We spent a couple of nights in cochin as wanted to get a taste of an Indian city whilst on route to kovalam wouldn't necessarily recommend spending more than a couple of days as there really is much to see Fort Cochin etc can be done in a day.
Fort Kochi was a great place to visit with lovely people. Lots of great restaurants and shops. I highly recommend a visit to Fort Kochi!
The way from airport to Fort Kochi is a long way, it is smooth on the road at night but it is a traffic jam in day time, so you might like to try ferry in day time for travel or relax.
wonderful luscious country, with greneries that is far cry to that of it's neighbouring states. When planning for your trip, make sure to plan on covering as many locations as possible.
A clean place which is not so crowded. The roads are better when compared to other places. Auto and taxi fares are very fair, go by the metre.
This place can get unbearably hot and humid in summer, so plan your trip carefully. Don't go in June-July as the rains can make everything very messy.
The people in Cochin are friendly but beware of confirming the price before you got a deal.We go to Allepy for renting a houseboat from Cochin.
it's convenient from fort cochin to ernakulam via jetty. And the fee is very cheap(just 4 rs for each one)
Most places to see can be covered in a day, two at most. Some of the places would be the Fort area, with its old buildings and church.
Can visit munnar, Alleppey and Cochin itself is a tourist spot. Can visit MAttanchery, bolgatty palace and can have a boating in backwaters of Cochin
Kochi is for people looking for relaxation and have constrained budget. It is a beautyful city unlike other cities in India.
Make sure that your visit the old quarter and see the chinese fishing nets, sample the fresh seafood in the late afternoon.
The best thing about Kochi are the ayurvedic cures which are an hour and a half away from Kochi, and less than 100INR by train.
There are not many things to do in Fort Cochin or Cochin themselves. One day to see the things is enough.
kerala is said to be gods creation, cochin is city involved init. harbour, research institutes places to see and move around
