Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Chowkit / Putra WTC,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"The Legend Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was an excellent experience, especially the staff. They were polite, smiled, and provided overall excellent service. The breakfast was very good and had a good variety of food. The hotel was a bit out of the main area, but that was probably good. The train was just outside the hotel. I enjoyed the daily newspaper and there was a good selection of TV channels. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. I would stay there again on my next trip."

Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
Bukit Bintang,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"the hotel is located in inside, or rather on top of the famous berjaya times square shopping complex, which is located at one of the most strategic tourist destination in the city of kuala lumpur, which is the golden triangle. the hotel is of walking distance to sungei wang plaza, bb plaza, low yat plaza, lot 10 shopping mall, pavillion mall, sephora, fareheitt 88 which are all famously and most visited shopping centres in kuala lumpur. hence, if you are planning to go shopping and enjoying the vibrancy of the city, this is will be the choice of hotel that you can opt for. the hotel itself if greatly maintained, hotel staff are friendly and helpful, we were escorted by the bell boy to carry our luggages to our room. since we were staying on the 23rd floor, the view of the city skyline is superb. the studio suite that we were staying is spacious, with attached kitchenette, bathroom, dining table, extra stereo set with clean and comfortable interior."

Dorsett Hartamas Kuala Lumpur
Sri Hartamas / Mont Kiara,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"Got a decently good deal on a last minute booking. Great location - lots to eat next door - yay! The twin single bed room I got wasn't very spacious but it was nice enough, especially the bathroom which was spacious, clean, and well ventilated (much lacking in most places). Best bathroom of 3 hotels I stayed this trip - important for those who are particular about bathrooms. Some guest reviews mentioned stains on the bedsheets but ours appeared to be from beverage stains like coffee - I wouldn't expect the hotel to throw away sheets because of that. Ask for a change if needed. Everything else was very clean though hence 5 stars rating for cleanliness. My only gripes are - slow lifts (minor inconvenience), awkward parking system (RM3 per entry after TNG/ticket validation due to the parking being owned by Plaza Damas and not the hotel), and I'm not sure if the walls are a bit thin or the guests in the next room are super loud (kids). Some rooms may be windowless (we didn't mind)."

Sama-Sama Hotel Kuala Lumpur International Airport
Sepang / KLIA,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"First of all, the hotel room is very quiet, although you can literally see the jets landing or taking off every few minutes. Just close the window curtain, dim the light, and you'll feel like sleeping in sanctuary. This hotel is also more luxurious than most 5-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and the room is equipped with digital pad to control lighting, smart alarm, room service, etc. And you will be shocked with its affordable price. This hotel has a tunnel to KLIA Airport, with 24-hour free buggy car service. From the hotel lobby, it will take 5 minutes to reach your room, or 3 minutes to reach the airport (with buggy car). So, it is literally faster to reach the airport than to reach your room."

Empire Hotel Subang
Subang Jaya,Kuala Lumpur - View on map
"most people that travel far on long haul flights are sick of the way the uk government tax us the further we go. people that visit us feel the same. i am now searching for flight tickets to thailand then travel over land into malaysia to kuala lumpur, singapore or manila. you can also get to bali by ship. stay in nice hotels on the way like empire hotel subang which is good value for money near to city. there are cheap tickets in asia to australia, manila to darwin, with jetstar or bali to perth with garuda, air asia from kuala lumpur to perth, you see more by travelling this way without paying to much tax to the uk government, you need more time to travel, all your flights and hotels can be booked on line, its easy."

Just next to the KL Sentral, the transportation hub in Kuala Lumpur, with convenient interconnectivity to the International Airport and mojor trainlines. There's a shopping mall for food and shopping, and smack in the neighbourhood of little India of KL. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
