This Hotel in Kuantan is an excellent place to stay with the family. The rooms are good, well maintained, offer a wonderful view, the facilities and fittings in the room are good and tasteful. The hotel also provides a number of activities for the children and one can enjoy a variety of food and BBQ specialties in the evenings in the hotel restaurant. The hotel has a nice access to its beach too.

Pro I came here with my wife during the holiday last week. Actually we booked for deluxe room,around RM128.On arrival,it seems all the deluxe rooms are fully occupied.So we had been offered for Superior Room for the same price In that superior room,no wifi can be detected.Then again we've been offered for Japanese Room for the same price!! The customer service here were excellent..i give full marks to them. All in all,i think this is one of the best affordable hotel in Kuantan,only 5 minutes to East Coast Mall (by car), got some new groceries nearby,Teluk cempedak is like 10 km away,not so far if travel by car Cons 1-small swimming pool 2-Small gym 3-In the toilet no bath tub But for me it didnt matter much, as the pros are much better in comparison to the cons Sri Manja Boutique Hotel will be my 1st choice if i'll travel to Kuantan. My 2 cents..

We are so happy stayed with Zenith although just a night. But after this night, we definitely will go back again and again for our upcoming Kuantan Trip. We spot Zenith is our favorite hotel in Kuantan,actually this is the best hotel and service that we had in Malaysia! I love the reception team and operation team,they are so lovely and cooperative! During our stay, we received an appreciate certificate from hotel's GM too. We are really happy to choose this hotel,never regret! The best memory in life with them!

Mangala was wonderful for husband and I as we have a hectic schedule in KL City. We stayed over a weekend, also to attend a friend's wedding in Kuantan that Sunday. The rooms are amazing. We basically basked ourselves in the oh-so-very comfy bed, outdoor shower feels, pretending to be yogis at the spacious verandah whilst being greeted by nature's best! Spa time was also amazing. I am not a fan of massages but my husband is. He added another hour and mentioned that the Sabahan girl (sorry, i forgot her name!) was an excellent masseuse! I opted for a gingery scrub instead which was equally invigorating after. The staff were exceptional. Not only they make a point to recognise you by name and room, they stand to be there at your aid 24/7, no kidding, just call! Mangala also welcomes you with a refreshing drink and a tour of the estate where the villas are built on. As i remembered correctly, more new villas and facilities to come! Yeay! Mangala feels relatively new, however, the staff and available facilities has been trained and managed very well. Being new, I feel that Mangala still has some improvements to make. Being 40 minutes away from Kuantan town and just shortly after the entrance of Gambang exit, there are not many things to do outside-nearby except eating places and convenient stores. However, excursions to Kuantan / drivable destinations can be arranged! There are some Malay / Indo / Mamak restaurants just before the Mangala guard-entrance but when Malaysia starts to rain, perhaps a more extensive room service would be great too! And also when it rains, perhaps Mangala should also offer indoor entertainments (theatre room, board game rents, etc) but of course without jeopardising the beautiful nature concept. As for me and my husband, we really didn't want to not go anywhere but just rest in the room. So the place was perfect for me. I understand from my reading this hotel has replaced the former Duta resort at this same location and credit must be given to the management to come out with a modern concept hotel while retaining some chalets of the previous hotel for those who prefer that type of accommodation. I booked the family suite which was spacious and could accommodate 4 people. the bathroom area is made up of 2 separate shower and toilet cubicles and changing area with long washtable where the tea and coffee were also placed. This may not be hygienic to some and they should move these to the living area.toiletries were also placed without any case which made it look cheap. breakfast was adequate with at least 6 local and western dishes,staffs were friendly, ample parking space and good wifi signal. i love the beach as it's very private and they placed many seatings for you to soak in the view. with so many rundown overpriced hotels in Kuantan and CHerating areas, this hotel is definitely a winner.

Hotel Cathyana the best hotel in Kuantan. Everything excellent. If we went to kuantan Cathyana is our best choice to stay. So...if you want to stay in harmony with your family Hotel Cathyana is the best place. Happy family and Have a nice dream...😍😍😍

Location - Kuantan Mall located within walking distance just in front of the hotel. The hotel located in between of Kuantan Mall & Kuantan Megamall. Parking - Street parking (marked with yellow box) & basement carpark is provided for hotel guest. But the ramp to the basement is quite steep. Be extra careful if your car is lowered. However there are plenty of car parks available around the buildings/shop lots. Breakfast - Good varieties of menu i.e. egg station, breads & muffins, local menus, cereals, porridge with selection of toppings, hot drinks. Room - For info, only deluxe room fitted with OKU friendly facilities. I traveled with my parents (with some disabilities) but apparently the triple room comes only with single beds. The hotel got me free upgrade for deluxe room with extra bed & breakfast. I am very thankful for your initiative and couldnt hesitate to extend one more night here! Other facilities - Surau at 1st floor (Event/Function Hall) was not OKU friendly at all.

I have stayed here before many years ago. The standard rooms are huge (especially when compared to most new 4-star and 5-star hotels these days). The bathrooms are big with a full size bath and separate shower stall. My only gripe is that they have not refurbished the hotel for many years (everything seems to be the same when I last stayed here over 10 years ago). For instance, my room had a carpet burn (from a dropped iron), the wooden furniture is scuffed and looks really used. A discerning type traveler may not like this. The hotel also seems to be somewhat dead from its F&B aspect. The first night I was there (Saturday), I found the Chinese restaurant only opened at 7.30pm and on my last night (Monday), the Chinese restaurant was closed. The principal F&B restaurant (Senja) serves a fairly decent buffet breakfast, with standard western and asian selections but again I was startled to discover that it was closed at night. (I did not order any room service then, but I wonder if the kitchen was operating at night). I feel a little depressed since when I was last here, it was a very nice place to stay in, now it looks rather dreary and if no attempt is made to give it a facelift or refurbishment, I suspect it will go down the drain especially since a couple of newcomer hotels in Kuantan can give it a run for its money.

The hotel itself has a very good interior design.suitable for large family.affordable price,beautiful private beach got sunrise here don't miss it.you can cook with utensil provided(induction cooker,pot,pan-juz bring ur spoon n jug n mugs)grocery items sold at nearby retail shop.restaurant is not faraway ,u can dine at cherating area.if from kl do not exit at kuantan but exit through Jabor exit n go straight u will find a way out near the hotel area.this hotel u have to pass a housing area first, quite confusing but don't worry its not so hard.overall i will come again here next time...

I really enjoyed my stay at mega view hotel and highly recommend it to fellow travelers. It is probably the best budget hotel in Kuantan. The location is great, in the city center, beautiful river view, room is renovated , nice,clean and beautiful. Staff were helpful. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It is value for money . I get more value than the money I spend. Mega view hotel is 5 star for budget traveler. Will stay again. Highly recommended

It was a great hotel with a fun theme park. I had a great time with my family.the most exiting is the water theme park and night safari with a lot of animal from local and oversea. The room of the hotel also big and comfortable for me and my family. I really had a great and exiting moment with my family at bukit gambng resort kuantan

I came here with doubt. Thought it was a cheap place. Since it is near i planned a short one night stay with my children. I booked at arabian bay base on reviews. When we arrived i was suprised. The hotel is large and the place full of family activies. The room! I loved the view! Tress and trees. I needed the view. The room and toilet is spacious my kids enjoyed running around. We went to the safari park and i was awed by the park. Great! Largest safari in asia. Wethen dined at the simba restaurant facing the white lions was a great experience. The jungle walk was scary but exciting. Sadly a lot of animals where on the way, no rhino or giraffe yet. But being so close to the wild animals was just awesome. The next day we spent time at the swimming pool and the kids loved playing sandcastles. Will come again here.

I was expecting it to at least have a 3 star service. The staff were fine, however, I can assumed that they are understaff since the same person for cleaning & carrying luggage are the same person. We were not informed before hand that the swimming pool for kids is under renovation- I was really disappointed as part of the main reason I choose the venue is because of my kids. At least Swiss Garden would have a courtesy announcement on the renovation work at their premises ( where and when it will be completed?). The hotel is a bit rundown- not properly maintained as maybe because it is also residence area as well. The rooms were spacious- however, the cleanliness is way below any budget hotel. I hope the management would at least keep this at par with other hotels in kuantan. Furniture were old and dusty. Overall, I love the stay - but Swiss Garden really need to improve their standards and cleanliness of the rooms.

This is among best place in Pantai Balok for your children. Large pool for adults and children. Very near to variety of seafood restaurant. If you think Gambang Resort City too large for your kids, this is the best place in Kuantan areas.

The rooms given were clean and spacious. Very good value for the money. Only downside is the swimming pool, it seems haven't been maintain regularly. Other than that the stay was nice and would repeat this hotel if i come back to Kuantan. Plus point, their staff were very friendly and helpful.

first impression upon entering my room, it was a really clean and modern concept room. i've tried other boutique hotels in kuantan at similar rates and it was far worse than hotel sentral kuantan. equipped with lcd tv and fair amount of channels, in-room entertainment is good considering the room rates. there's complimentary wifi access as well. room is also spacious even for the smallest room available. one thing i didn't quite like was the bathroom tiles, they used dark blue tiles which doesn't quite help to give it a clean look and what's more there were reddish stains at the shower area. i hope the management can look into this, maybe in future renovations perhaps change to cleaner looking tiles. breakfast was included with my stay as well, although it does not offer a variety of food but it's good enough to fill your stomach and get your morning going. will definitely stay here again when i visit kuantan for my business trip!

this hotel located at strategic place in kuantan town. nearest to berjaya megamall & east coast mall (ecm) which we do shopping there. we enjoy sightseeing at telok cempedak beach & taman gelora. enjoy dinner at tanjong lumpor & enjoy our lunch at medan selera near kuantan river.we loves our stay at grand cont kuantan hotel. hope can be there some other time again.

Ive been going to kuantan every weeks for this months because i have some work there. And for that every weeks Greenleaf hotel was chosen by me. Im very comfortable with the bedroom.the cleanliness is quite good. And the best thing is every morning there's a housekeeper knock your door to ask for housekeeping , change your towel or your bedsheets. That's what i like about the hotel.

We had difficulties at first while checking in as there is a confusion between agoda and the hotel owner - or else the stay could have been rated 5 stars. The hotel owner have apologized and gave us the infamous mango cheesecake from Kula cakes. We appreciate his kind gesture and effort. The place is overall comfortable, great interior and the swimming pool was nice for kids and adults. There is a beautiful open air pantry for you and your family/friends to hang out. The location is strategic, there is a restaurant called Lila Wadi just across the road which offers you steamboat and scrumptious desserts. Overall - recommended for a stay if you are in Kuantan!

i am visiting Kuantan with my 2 colleague. We book 3 rooms. This was the best boutique hotel in Kuantan. Awesome hotel design. Lobby lounge concept for guest waiting area. Room are clean and equip with all necessary amenities and facilities. Awesome breakfast set with 5 variety of choice. Staff are superb friendly,especially Linda & Dila. The management should award them, as they are the main asset for your hotel. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel.

We're in Kuantan for my cousin's wedding at Jalan Tok Sira. We booked 2 apartments for our parents, 5 siblings with spouses and young kids. My aunts also booked 2 more apartments. I love the security, cleanliness and the pool. There're enough parking spaces for everyone, gated with security-staffs. The pool is okay with a mini playground near it. There's also a kids pool for young children. But there's no life guard. The management should look into this. The bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen has kettle, refrigerator. Limited tv channels.

I visited this hotel ever since I was still a student in Kuantan until I'm married and visiting with my husband for a quick holiday. Everything is CLEAN -- the room, floor, bed, toilets, towels (my super priority) and nice. I've never had a problem checking in or a problem with any of the facilities. I'm a frequent late checker-in, and the staff constantly calls to confirm my attendance and also accepts really late check ins. If you're looking for a really spacious room then maybe this is not for you. But if you're okay with neat, tidy and spotless rooms (which has enough room to perform prayers btw), then pls try the hotel . I myself will come back every time. The hotel is walking distance to the new Kuantan Mall, and situated in rows of restaurants and shops. The location is right smack in the middle of the Kuantan town -- so equal distances to the town, to the beaches or other attractions. Parking is not provided but parking is ample. Recommended :)

I am staying here one night during my Hari Raya vacation. That is a budget hotel in Kuantan but with a 4 star service. That is not any additional charges due to hot period. Price is cheap but u can get more than your pay. Highly recommend to anyone who going kuantan. thanks

Although the price is cheap, room conditions is like a 4 star hotel.. Spacious and still look new.. The best part is 'ikan bakar' just beside the hotel..

Stayed here for business purpose for 3 days. overall the place has all the amenities and service you would hope for, given the price range. It is cleaner than some hotels I've been to in Kuantan and that's probably because it is new/refurbished. overall good experience!

I loved this resort for many reasons. For the first time in Malaysia, I loved the food in any resort or hotel. Here the food was simply awesome. The Buffet was expensive but has amazingly wide options. Didn't take breakfast here. Beach in front of resort is beautiful and clean. There are a few restaurants around the property. Staff was very polite and so helpful. For the first time ever in Malaysia, the staff could understand and speak English. Hyatt has kept their standard too the mark. Swimming pools are also nice and deep. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing holiday here. My family and I are going to visit again and again here to relax.

Pros, clean and quite, walking distance to beach, free flow of drinks, country side environment. Cons, small size pool, no more pool snooker table, perimeter fencing need to be secured, saw a wild boar hanging around at night within the resort compound.
