I stayed mostly at Gili island and its a nice place to spend 2-3 nights as the sea front is quite close by and beach are quite sandy and clear water so very good for snorkelling etc.
If you plan to go to gili trawangan by public boat (15,000 rupiah) per person vs speed boat (more than 100,000 per person), you can go to Bangsal by taxi (170,000 rupiah) from Mataram.
An Island rich in Nature. Beautiful Sun and Sea. Good place to be away from City life. An untouch nature that would be appreciated by whoever were to be in Lombok.
Not well developed yet. Good for those travelers whose looking for an uncommercialised spot for beaches, waterfalls and mountain hikes.
Lombok has many scenic beaches. It takes time to visit them one by one. If you have more time, try to visit Gilis.
Nice place for couple to enjoy their romantic time at beach or if you are looking for adventure, can do trekking as well.
Lombok isn't really big to be honest, you can definitely visit the whole island in one to two weeks. Depending on what you're going to do.
Beautiful Island spoilt by the locals rubbish everywhere, on the road side, on the beach, in the water.
The Best untouch area so far that I had ever visited. Beautiful Beaches Clear Sky and full of nature.
The locals from Lombok are beautiful people, 4 days just wasn't long enough. Can't wait to go back and see more.
Lombok is a not develop city, I am not recommend to go. if you are planing to hiking there may be a good choice otherwise go Gili.
Sengigi beach not recommend because Lombok is a non-delevolope place, I think there are not well for traveling.
perfect for couple who want to escape from routine & boring life and enjoy your private time together
Lombok is not a city, it's a large island with numerous settlements (it's actually 4 separate islands if you count the Gili islands, which are also "Lombok").
beautiful place for everything, diving, swimming, party, foods, hiking, everything is perfect.. the beaches are superb.
It is obvious that Lombok are now in the early stage of tourism development. There are much potential with is great beaches and clear sea water.
havent explore much this city, but if u stay at senggigi beach, must use car to go every where coz its very farrr
Lombok has developed well in the past few years. However need more places for relax. Please develop Lombok like Bali!
Lombok got so many things to offer. stayed for 4days and 3 nights but still not satisfied. food was awesome, people in Lombok is very friendly and polite, the magnificent scenery.
Nice island to have relax with family or beloved ones, kind of quiet place but it has nice night life to hang out :)
Lombok is beautiful island and very easy to go around with transport. friendly people and very nature island.
Lombok is very beautiful. But it's very rural. Don't expect to see another Bali.Roads are basically good and there is much less trafic than in Bali.
This is a review of Senggigi Beach area. Stay away. It's an over-priced, under-visited area, and the local peddlers won't leave you alone.
The city is worth exploring especially if you are into observing daily life of the locals, and the architecture of the Masjid (Muslim prayer place).
Lombok is less busy compare to Bali, hence a great escape for relaxing vacation. The island is mostly sitted by muslims, hence the environment is more subtle yet not ultra-conservatives.
Lomboks main sights can be covered in a few days. Dont expect the same tourist infastructure as Bali.
I would reccomend lombok if you enjoy beaches however there is not alot of sightseeing or things to do as in Bali.
Lombok is a nice, safe relaxing city with friendly locals. Not a party town, it's a good place to go as a solo traveller or family :)
Is a must to visit Gili Trawangan which made my holidays awesome. If you looking relax places, please do visit this Island
nice place go to mt rinjani, to sengigi beach see how beautiful star light in the night, eating cheap food, taliwang is the best in here
