Traveling to India? Find Manali hotels

I stepped into my hotel room and immediately relaxed, this is one beautiful hotel in one of the most breathtaking areas of India. There were four sets of windows in my room and three overlooked the pool and the snow capped mountains. There is an air of calm and peace around the castle/hotel and the whole place feels laid back and serene. My room was huge with an equally huge bathroom and a none stop supply of hot water for both the deep bath and the power shower. Toiletries were top of the range too. The huge bed was really comfortable and when you wake up you just see the mountains from the windows facing the bed. Full TV and complimentary tea and coffee are standard. The hotel itself is simply stunning with antiques from all parts of the world, decor is crisp white, simple, clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly without being in your face, they were well mannered, educated and respectful as well as attentive and informative. I stayed here for 5 nights before embarking on a month long trail around North India, I wish I could have stayed longer - to wake up to the most stunning of views, take breakfast by the pool surrounded by mountains and then relax by either walking down to Manali (5 mins walk downhill and 50 rupees in a tuk tuk back!)or just sitting in the top turret with a cup of chair and a good book, I loved my stay here and would recommend it. A real 5 star experience

"Koi nahi ji, ho jayega" (No worries, it shall be done) is the general attitude of all the staff at this beautiful resort - be it reception, housekeeping or room service. The hotel has beautiful gardens and well appointed rooms with a table fan as well as a room heater, which is rare in Manali. Room are spacious and beautifully designed with local wood. Bathrooms are large too. Sofas were super comfy. Five stars for their housekeeping and room service. Anything we asked for, was provided, with a smile, in no time. The reception was helpful in booking cabs for tours and arranged for packed breakfast at 3am! the boxes were generously filled with yummy goodies.

The place is really nice. The room was clean and facing the mountains and river. There is a nice view. The location is just 2 kms from the Manali mall and bus station. You can easily take a cab, auto, two wheelers and explore around. The breakfast and lunch were equally nice. The staff were very very accomodating and down to earth. I was totally happy with all the support and arrangements made by the hotel even at the last moment request.

Have been to manali many times before but must say that Urvashi"s retreat has been the best experience so far. Right from the upkeep of the place to the very courteous staff (which we used to find very difficult in manali besides staying at the best property also) ,our holiday experience was truly enhanced by their efforts. This place definitely deserves a 4+ star accreditation according to me. Mr.Giri raj, jitender and other staff members deserve a big thank you from my side.

golden tulip is located river side in the heart of old manali...the hotel has very courteous staff who helped us with a smooth check inn...the rooms are nice and very spacious with beautiful views...the manali club house and the best cafes of manali r located at a walking distance...the property is old but well maintained....the breakfast spread was the only disappointment...rest everything was up to the mark...stay at this hotel for the location it offers and the friendly staff

At a walking distance from Mall Road on Hadimba Temple Road, location is just perfect if you want to be right at the heart of Manali. Rooms are slightly smaller in size but nicely done up and have balcony. Food is good. A value for money.

Good location and the staff is well mannered and when we reached there at that time the room I booked is not available so they upgraded my room at no charge.

Heating was poor in the rooms and worst in lobby and the breakfast room . In fact it was cold. Running hot water was only available twice s day 7to 10 and 7.30 to 9.30 pm. There is no lift for elderly and physically challenged. Staff was very good courteous and willing to help. Location was better than majority of hotels in Manali views very good

Hotel location I feel was one of the best with Beas running down at backyard. Hotel staff is friendly. Wifi was not there in room as shown on hotel details. Washroom exhaust was not working inspite of requests to reception. Restaurant had limited Veggie choices. Spa and Gym was not open during our stay. River side view rooms they charge exorbitant even in off season when property was empty.

The resort was good. Staff was excellent even though we checked out dey provided us accommodation till we board our transportation. Dat was too good. Gave us a feel at home. Thanks to all at Glaciers.

My stay was ok..not impressive as per the tariff range...the washrooms are not as per the standard...really need makeover and daily hygine to perfection..the floor mat was never vaccumed in our stay .giving unpleasent floor touch

It was one of the best hotels I stayed during my last trip. Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel location is excellent. Nice food available in-house. Price of food and accommodation affordable. Hotel very clean and heating facilities were available in all rooms. My family enjoyed staying at Summit. Will book same hotel for next trip to Manali. I would rate it as a Five + hotel.

To hear the sound of the river flowing was very refreshing. Also the snow right in front of the hotel made a huge impression on us. I won't say there were any cons as such. Hotel was in walking distance to the hidimba temple. All the staffs were quite helpful with a smile in their face.

Our stay was from 4th June to 7th June, we travelled from Chandigarh to Manali by hiring a taxi. We started at around 2.30PM from Chandiragh and reached Manali at around10.30PM, by the time we reached we have informed the Hotel about our time of arrival at hotel and dinner. The manager and staff of the hotel are very nice and humble, they immediately arranged the room for check in and after that we had dinner at around 11.00PM. Overall Hotel Greenfield is a great budget hotel and located in a calm and peaceful area and near to hadimbha temple(which is hardly five minutes drive from hotel). Food can be little better. Overall had very comfortable stay at Hotel Greenfield.Finally one important suggestion for all travellers is try to reach manali early i.e., in day light, because there are so many hotels and other accomodations which makes the driver other than local person difficult to take you to the right location. This applies for all other hotels in manali.

Everything is just splendid!! Probably the best location in the entire Manali hills! The staff, service, rooms, amenities, ambience, Indian Food ) is just splendid! Professional yet courteously efficient! I would have written a book had I stayed few more days!! :) A highly recommended flagship hotel which will surely mesmerize you in every way possible! (Try staying during off peak season when half of India is not in Manali to make the best of your time!) And yes....don't forget to bring along your partner! ;)

The location of the hotel is awful. It's right on the busy street, one can't sleep in the night. The rooms facing the back yard of the hotel are ever bad, there is a nullah (gutter) running adjacent to the room's balcony which stinks... I stayed in 4 different properties during my Himachal trip, this one was so aweful... Overall Manali experience has been very bad....

A very nice and beautiful resort in manali. Our stay was really comfortable and worth it. The breakfast was good. The staffs were really nice and attentive, especially Mr. Ujjwal. He was really nice and helpful to us and others too. A special thanks to Mr. Ujjwal for everything he did for us starting with check in, room, food, sight seeing etc. will sure visit this resort again, a memorable stay it was.

We have travelled Manali before as well, but this time with Mountain Top it was awesome experience..... #awesome food# quick service# polite reception and best part is terrace garden it was covered with beautiful flowers you can sit for hours and view Manali valley...I simply just loved it....You guys made my holidays memorable.......Thanku

It was the perfect stay we could have had the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and food was very good. I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family. If you are booking through agoda just make sure you confirm your booking with hotel as we booked in another hotel and even with confirm booking we didn't get rooms as hotel was fully booked. Eventually we were transferred to shivadaya which was excellent but wasted lot of our time waiting. Shivadaya = excellent and perfect Agoda= be careful and recheck bookings

Hotel seems to be new with bare minimum numbers of staff. we wanted to enjoy 31st december evening there, and had asked for buffet dinner. No dinner was served till 11.00 Pm and finally when we asked for dinner, there was hardly anything in buffet menu and we just had rice and rajma of worst quality i ever had and they charge us almost same as 4 star hotel for similar food in Manali . Breakfast which was supposed to be free was not served at all and they excused themselves by telling that they dont have staff to make it. when we insisited, we were given Tea and bread butter (bread was old ). Room was specious with balcony and good view. Hotel is good just for stay, if you arrange your own food. It needs good management. Seems facility is wasted in hand of wrong management. Hope they learn that its not only good rooms, but good staff and facilities are required for business.

We went there last week.. After a lot of searching on the Internet and personally speaking to the owner of the place, I must say it is one of the best properties in Manali. The cottage is centrally located in a Apple orchard with excellent view of Snow covered mountains and green surrounding all over. The room was duplex with very well maintained, I have never seen such a beautifull duplex before. The owner of the cottage Mr Prateek Jaiswal is a very kind person, we had a power cut in cottage for some time, he himself went to rectify the same, on top of it gave the dinner complimentary and also apologize multiple times for the incovenience. we would definitely reccommend this property to all and if visit back to Manali would certailny eye on this property. The only weak link is the limited option of food we get here. But that should be fine, as this a small cottage, so not much order should have been there

It was overall good but want to raise 2 concerns: 1. I had booked luxury room but they had given me the Deluxe room and were telling both luxury and deluxe rooms are almost same. anyways; they had given me one good mountain view room after 1 day from GF to 3rd Floor. Not sure, whether it was deluxe room or luxury room. 2. They were charging for BF also until I showed the confirmation letter again. They must be knowing earlier itself, If I had booked thru agoda. Anyways, Overall Stay was good with comfort/cleanliness, support staff, quick taxi booking/resolution, excellent food and manager behaviour. I recommend the hotel for others and 'll do my next stay as well. It's value for Money for sure..

We had an extremely good stay at the hotel. While the hotel had some initial housekeeping issues (electricity, damp carpet etc) the staff were extremely forthcoming & prompt in sorting out the problems & ensuring we had a great experience. One of my kids fell sick & I appreciate the efforts made by the hotel to arrange a doctor in quick time. Would certainly recommend the hotel to families visiting Manali!

We were the first guests here at Panda in Manali. The kitchen wasn't ready jet but the staff was extremely nice and helpful and provided us with everything we needed (cutlery, bowls etc). Staff was great, location is quiet up on a hill, you have an amazing view from the balcony. Double room is spacious and clean. We really can recommend to stay here and wish Panda Manali a good start!

This place is very beautiful with natural beauty all around, though its a bit away from manali but if u have ur transport along with I would juggest this place where you can have a homely environment with delicious food.
