Best hotels & accommodations in Mangalore

Our room was clean and spacious, the staff were all courteous and professional, the breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the location was very convenient to explore the sights and tastes of Mangalore. We found this to be a good place to stay and we would stay again.

The hotel was ok, just quite dark and in a busy part of town near a mosque - we were woken at 5am. It smells of fish market really strongly in the area. Our room smelt of cigarettes and they couldn't change it, they came and sprayed air freshener. When we came to check out they couldn't find our booking and took ages to check out. We wouldn't stay again.

We booked two rooms for two nights. The hotel was on my GPS so finding it was no problem at all. First off, it is located right in the heart of Mangalore. The actual premise is not on the main road but one building behind which is actually good because it very nearly eliminates traffic noise - very important if you are used to sleeping in a bedroom that has little or ...

Check in happened 45 mind late even after reaching well after 12 noon. Housekeeping staff not trained well. Room was not swept daily. Towels not replaced. Soap not replaced. Had to ask for water as it was not replaced. Language is a major issue. Breakfast spread limited and room too small to accommodate guests. There was 15-20 mind wait to find a vacant table. Staff is...

mangalore is not a tourist must see city. But to relax and see a little of real India Its very nice. The hotel is reasonably priced with everything you need. But get out of the hotel. Eat with the locals try a little of the real India. For a fraction of the price and a hundred times the memories.. Its a sleepy city life drops off when it gets dark...

The hotel was ideally located for an early morning train departure. Trains originate from Mangalore, so it easy to get a seat. The hotel has no restaurant but an Indian style breakfast was provided by an outside supplier. There was a very good family Indian restaurant located nearby for evening meals - these restaurants do not serve alcohol.

have stayed with my family and in- laws. Booked two rooms. Key does not work. Had to call reception every time I needed to enter. Lot of mosquitoes in the rooms. Refused to give fruits or sandwich or anything when we had to leave prior breakfast , though breakfast is complimentary. Staff not courteous. Limited viewable channels in TV. No proper response from staff. Wil...

We had a relaxing time and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Resort is quite far from Mangalore in a very rural area so transport is necessary unless you want to stay at the Resort the whole time. We had a pleasant river trip at sunset and visited local attractions which included a Science Park, Biological Park and Water Park, all less than 3kms from the Re...

We had come for my sister's graduation function from Kerala. It was weekend, rooms are almost full, we had booked this hotel online after reaching Mangalore, but they got it ready in some 10 minutes time. Staffs were really friendly, rooms were clean too. The complimentary breakfast also was really good. Except for the loose connection with plugpoints and poor tv netwo...

I like the villa. All facilities are there .If you are traveling with family and kids especially. You can taste all local delicacies nearby restaurants. The owner is really really helpful, just like a parent. You can plan for an entire week to cover all the beaches and temples across Mangalore and Udupi.

the room picture shown on Agoda website and tge room given are totally different it was a scary dingy floor with delapidated walls. I guess they are renovating the hotel and the room they gave was awful. But the hotel staff was very well behaved and helpful that was the only plus and the location. But the room quality was bad

Traveler impressions of Mangalore
There are not so much of night life here I presume. The best shopping centre available was City Centre Shopping mall.
Mangalore is in close proximity to temple town of udupi, beaches of malpe, jungles, hill stations, heritage sites.
Mangalore is a historical city with serene mountains and beaches. has a few religious places of interest around it for all religions.
It's a small city by Indian standards and not at all oriented toward tourists. There is little to see as such, even the old Mangaladevi Temple, from which the city gets its name, is not well kept and there are no information boards for visitors.

Good room with a separate sitting area with sofas. Since the room given to us was really good, the other issues we ignored. We could see that there are other rooms which are not that good, I believe we got better rooms as we did online booking. Hotel is getting improvised, lift is in the making, no restaurant, breakfast is complementary (dosa, idly etc), but the dining...
