Modern and clean rooms with sea views. Great food. Peaceful neighborhood but not too far away from Matara or Mirissa. Special thanks to very friendly and helpful staff. You guys do a good job! We really enjoyed our time.

We had 2 rooms to cater for 5 people. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food at the hotel was fresh and we purchased a full lobster for dinner which was cooked to perfection. Owner is very helpful and nothing you ask him is too much. Very Accoomodating. Stayed here for 2 nights. Pool was great band did not spend alot time at the Beach.

This is an okay hotel for the money. Their breakfast lacks variety and the butter was so hard. Very close to the beach and that was good. The beach wasn't a popular swimming spot. Did not see anyone swimming as in that area, the sea is little rough. I tried the lunch at the Nawatenna once and it was ok. The Sri Lankan buffet lunch at the nearby Matara Rest House was great and very cheap. I recommend that to anyone staying nearby.

The property is lovely, at least on the outside. The pool is great, and the access to the beach is a plus, even if there's not really any sand to lie on. However, our stay was marred by a complete lack of hospitality. When we arrived (at the time we told them we would) the only member of staff there was the cleaner who pointed us in the direction of our room. The following day the owner's son did turn up, but only to demand payment. The room itself showed a lack of attention to detail, in odd contrast to the exterior of the hotel. We didn't have any curtains (despite there being a curtain rail) and the mosquito net over the bed was the wrong size so dragged over our faces (we had to remove it). Oh, and the toilet is literally in the shower. Bizarre. At no point were we offered breakfast, or even water. We had to go to the local supermarket (thankfully very good) to obtain these. All in all, we would not stay here again.

A good place to enjoy and relax...location is the best...in that hotel..food is good and value for money. Rooms are very clean and ok with da facilities ... a nice place 2 visit again...

Don't be put off by the size of this place, new clean rooms right on the beach with a very friendly host. A bar 100m one way and surf spot the other. Map location is a little wrong on Agoda though.

Turtle beach cabanas is nicely secluded and it was a lovely retreat after being in the cities. We had miles of clean beautiful beach pretty much to ourselves and a lovely dining area overlooking the ocean. The cabanas are well built and very comfortable with 4 poster beds with good mosquito nets. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka there; the fruit platter is amazing - 5 a day on one plate. Very friendly and helpful staff, who took us to turtle-watching one night in their tuk tuk. If you want privacy and a peaceful place to relax, this is it. Would be great for honeymooners. A really enjoyable stay and we felt we got a lot for our money.

We stayed at Sunny for 2 nights. New sheets are needed as they are old and word ; room was musty ; mattresses are flat. However the owner is very nice and there is a nice breakfast (which is overpriced). You get what you pay for (we paid 16 USD) / night.

The hotel environment is great. If the cleaningness can improve could be better. The owner is great and kind.

Supun will take care of u. He's very friendly, helpful & the room is clean. There's an living room that you can also use with mini kitchen and dinner tables. I haven't had any mosquito inside the room because of the mosquito net and the fen that I use to sleep. Ask for motorcycle rent & surfboard rent with Supun. Madiha beach is 5min from Polhena Beach; 20min to Mirissa beach; 30min to Weligama beach; 40min to Dickwella beach. You can easily stay over here and do everything by moto. Paradise place. Im sure you'll enjoy.

Helpful and attentive staff. Friendly owner. The interior-room and restaurant are clean. Beddings are super comfortable for a good rest. Security staff was on guard 24 hrs. Was told we cld snorkel to see turtles but didn’t manage to do that.

This small guesthouse is beautifully run by Lucky and his family. Nothing is too much trouble and they did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable; taking us to local attractions, endlessly playing with our kids (3 & 7) and helping us to understand Sri Lankan culture. Kumari's cooking is wonderful home cuisine, very varied and accomodating to any requests that you may have. the beach is 100 meters down the hill and is definitely an unspoilt surfers beach. This is like living in a Sri Lankan home so privacy may be limited. the house is beautifully setup if basic and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended for families.

This is a small, clean place. There is really nothing around, just houses and a few more guesthouses. A lonesome beach, not very nice, but okay to lie down. I didn't go into the water though because there was really nobody else there. Waking to the "center" of Matara takes about 15 minutes. There is really close to nothing to see in Matara, though. I didn't like Matara at all. This guesthouse is okay, but depends very much in what you're looking for.

The hotel is brand new hotel and only opened less then a year ago. It look exactly as it is shown on the pictures. Upon arrival we were greeted by Chirat and a special welcome drink made of fresh fruit. Throughout our stay he was very helpful and even helped organize things for me that he didn't strictly have to do however it made my life that much easier which I appreciated. The hotel is sparkly clean with a direct route from the property to the the cleanest nicest beach in Sri Lanka. It is also in an area which is not the main tourist beach therefore it is very quiet and peaceful. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves yummy food at a reasonable price. Just know the food takes about an hour to get ready as they make the food fresh based on your order. Breakfast is really nice with a fresh fruit platter and you can choose Sri Lankan or Western breakfast. Over my experience was incredible and I would highly recommend the hotel.
