"Apparently, Do Not Disturb does not translate into, do not enter at TRU by Hilton. We had left for an errand only to return to a room that clearly had been entered when we had displayed the door sign that signifies this form of privacy. Upon returning to the hotel, my boyfriend asked the housekeeper for fresh towels. She was wick to respond with, “Oh, I already put towels.......” and stopped then asked what room was he staying in. After telling her, she handed him half the needed towels & said she would bring the rest to our room. Wen he placed the towels on the shelf he noticed that Two sets of fresh towels we put in our room and all the trash cans were emptied. Clearly the housekeeper knew she was in a room when she was not to enter. Especially when she asked what room # he was in and responded in a very “caught” look. He said he had a very odd feeling about the encounter but didn’t realize why till returning to the room and noticing the fresh towels and emptied waste paper baskets. A very uncomfortable, violated feeling come over the two of us. Was something missing? Did she look in luggage or use my perfume? We don’t know. However, by the appearance and demeanor of this individual, it wouldn’t surprise me. Not Happy Nor Do We Feel Comfortable Enough To Stay He. So after 4 days at TRU, we are LEAVING. Even though we need to be in a hotel for at least another week or two. By the way, a career in hospitality is not the correct choice for the majority of employees here. With the exception of two kind, helpful and happy gentleman who work the front desk. It seemed to be a BOTHER to even answer a question. Not a very hospitable hotel atmosphere. HILTON ~ I’m a bit shocked. Not your usual caliber of employees. "

"One of the better values in the Monroe Michigan area. It fit my need for an overnight stay. Staff was welcoming and they had a pool that was being used. Room was small but large handicapped bathroom that was definitely welcomed after a long day on the road. Fair continental breakfast. Location was off the main road and took some time to find. Surrounded by several outlet mall buildings the vast majority of which are vacant. "
