"This was my second time in Mu-se and also my second time staying at the Ngwe Sakar Wah Hotel. Apart from one other cheaper, newer and better looking hotel in the centre of town, this is still the top choice in town, which is otherwise full of overpriced dumps. This may change once the China-Myanmar border crossing there opens officially as an international crossing reportedly around August 2015, which will likely result in a large increase in tourists passing through town. The room was OK and looked similar to your run of the mill Chinese business hotel, with a hot water system that worked well (a necessity in winter when overnight lows can bottom off around 3-4 degrees C) and maximums are little over 20 degrees C, a couple of TV channels provided by Tata Sky (surprisingly no Chinese channels though, despite proximity to China) and the Chinese provided wifi access only worked in the lobby and not in the room this time, which was a disappointment. Breakfast consisted of tea/coffee, sweetened orange juice, bananas and a plate of fried rice, nothing special but not terrible either. An acceptable stay for one night but for serious business travellers the hotel needs to lift it's game. At US$50 or around 50,000 Kyat per night it is also rather overpriced for what is offered - the rooms are worth at best around 25000 Kyat. "
