hotels are a bit more expensive in myanmar so for that the price is okay. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are basic but some of them with window. This ones are realy nice. Very close to the pier for the tours to the myeik archipelago and also to the night market with delicious food. Make sure you go to the indian restaurant n. 1 its about 5 min walk and sooo delicous...

Like many long-established hotels in Myanmar, this one is trying to rest on its former reputation as a decent place to stay, when in fact the city all around has passed it by. There are newer, better, cheaper places close by that are much better value for money. The room itself was thoroughly disappointing - old and worn, with plastic lawn furniture, a cheap rusty clot...
