"I was fine, and the price was actually great but it was a bit far away. You should be careful if you have lots of heavy bags and see it's only 2 min walk. It's 2 min walk from the closest exit to the hotel. Since Shin-Osaka station is very big, depending on which train you're using, it could be a long way before you reach to the nearest exit to the hotel. Just check the map first. As long as you are not rushing, the room was great. "

"The place is really clean i saw cleaners cleaning all the common area and they change bedsheets and clean room as per request. The location is very strategic as its near JR shinimamiya and subway shinimamiya and Dobutsuen mae subway station. Nearby 24 hrs grocery store ,family mart, daiso, don quijote and Tsutenkaku tower and osaka zoo. Staff is very friendly. i have stayed in many guesthouse in this area and i would say this is the best. For those saying the place is dangerous that is not true!!!! There might be some homeless people here but they are very old people which are not even capable of doing any harm to you. This is japan hahaha (not a 3rd world country) so it is safe everywhere i even walk late night here and its very safe in general in all parts of japan. Newly renovated lobby and small restaurant and takoyaki and ice cream shop has recently opened within the building. This place is best for budget and solo traveler. P.S. be aware there are some inconsiderate guests that will bang there room door even during sleeping hours (Koreans and Chinese are the most inconsiderate guests."

"The overall experience was fantastic. The room was clean, and the hotel was new. The water temperature and pressure was good in the bathroom. It was like a minute walk from the subway station. Staff was friendly. It was just a really good experience in general. The only concern for some people might be the room was a little bit small, but that's pretty much a given for a hotel in Osaka at this price range. "

"We booked the hotel basically because of the central location and as it offered one of the Japanese hot springs within the hotel area for free. The rooms are a little small (guess that's normal for Japan) but super handy. All we needed was in place, even an universal charger for Ipad, Samsung etc. WIFI was for free and superfast, no annoying logon process at all. Me and my girlfriend felt very comfortable and relaxed in our room. The hotel itself is pretty new and located 10min walk from JR Namba station which is a good connection to the Airport. From the hotel just a 5 minute walk and you are in Dontoburi area with lots of restaurants and a little further a nice shopping street, offered all you might be interested. We have had an amazing weekend in Osaka and because we liked the Hotel so much decided to pay for a day longer (Japan doesn't know late check out)instead for further sightseeing, have a relaxing day until we have to take off for our night flight. We really just can recommend that place!"

"When I get to the hotel in Osaka,it's very convinent for me to use every facility in this hotel ,only except of the washing machine.Too many people need to use that machine, directly makes this kind of service unavaliable.I suggest you put the washing and drying machine out of the spring room ,no matter men and women both can use it.It has two kinds of advance. Fist,it can makes more machines avaliable at the same time;second,it can makes everyone get the chance to wash or dry their clothes."

More about Osaka

Having gotten its start in the 1500s when its grand castle was built, Japan's second-largest city is still a place where locals appreciate the value of fine foods and designer goods. While Osaka can't compete with Tokyo in terms of scale, it certainly has a reputation for refined living.

Most of the hotels in Osaka are in Umeda, near the bullet train station. These include major international names set in prominent entertainment districts. These hotels are convenient choices for business travelers as well as tourists.

On the surface, Osaka looks like any other big city, but it hides a mammoth shopping arcade underground. A couple of these are among the largest malls in Japan, and they're completely out of sight. Above-ground boutiques are also located in the Namba and Shinsaibashi districts. Osaka Castle, a Universal Studios theme park, and the enormous Osaka Aquarium are some of the city’s major attractions.

Osaka's international gateway is Kansai International Airport. The main terminal is a mile long and well equipped with dining and shopping facilities as well as a rail link to the city center.

Be sure to check out the interactive map of Osaka for information on hotel locations, attractions, and must-see destinations.
