Traveling to Indonesia? Find Palembang hotels

Everything was as I had expected until I found two things. Bad wifi and the service. They didn’t clean up the room eventhough I already put the sign, on the front door. They said I should have left the key wich was I didnt get told before. Anyway, these could be changed, so I would may come back again when I have chance to visit Palembang again in the future. Thank you.

the location is really near to jembatan ampera & benteng kuto besak, only 5-10 minutes walk. when we need to go out around palembang, it's not easy to find taxi. but the hotel has facility to rent a car and it cost per hour so we don't have to waste too much money for rent it a whole day if we don't really need to. this hotel is fairly complete with supermarket & atm centre, it's really helpful. the room is clean, but since we booked a deluxe room, it's a bit small unfortunately. but it has a hot/cold shower. breakfast was pretty good, not too many options but acceptable.

+ - the super helpful and kind staff. The lady working reception booked us a gocar for our 5am ride to the airport and certainly had the best google translate use trying to arrange breakfast for us before 5 and to make sure we were all alright. Incredible warmth and very helpful! - the softest blanket in months and a well working aircon made for a short but very good night sleep. - towels and soap and tissues provided - a water dispenser - close enough to the airport - - a lot of mosquitoes so I would have loved a net, but others might just want the use more spray (which they had most likely just used before we got into the room)

I got good deal,from Agoda. At first, I saw picture from Agoda the hotel is quite nice, but apparently NOT. Some parts of hotels are being renovated, so quite dirty. Cleanliness were really poor and hotel not good maintenance. Internet not really good even I stayed in 1st floor. Good thing about this hotel, check in open from 6am and check out 1pm. I wouldn't recommended this hotel in Palembang. You can find many better hotel with not so much price difference.

best-skip is clean,safe and good place to stay. it also has helpful and friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay in Best-Skip Palembang.

it is an okay hotel if you're not a fussy person. the toilet has mould on the ceilings and tiles, the chair in the room was broken, the access card is permanently built into the wall, so you cannot turn off the light above the bed when you want to sleep. If you want to stay here, you need an eye mask. I asked for a room without a window so there was not much noise disturbance. The towels are greyish as they are not new but they are clean. only Indonesian TV channels available. We did not see any non-local guests. The bed was a little shaky, probably very well used. The location was good, a few strides away from Cinde LRT and opposite Palembang Indah Mall which sells alot of mobile phone products and accessories.This is not the main mall in Palembang though. The main mall, Palembang Icon mall and Palembang Square are about 30 minutes walk by slow walk or 10 minutes by car. for the price we paid, I must say that the hotel is satisfactory PS: there was coffee at the reception

Good : Location is near to Jakabaring sport city, no traffic at this side. Room is clean. Ac works good. Only 4-5 mosquitoes per night I had to kill. Bad : Mannerless staff. In the morning someone will try to open the door and it's too loud that we wake up scared. Everyday is the same despite complaining about it to the reception. They cannot control students/old people who keep their rooms opened all time and talk loudly. Staff is noisy as well coming to our door and shouting about our personal details. Good room, very poor management. Bathroom gets flooded within a min and have to wait another 15-30 min for another bath. We caught up owner (yes owner) was in our room without our consent. We went out and came back seeing he is inside our room. When asked he said he is the owner, and confirmed this with reception. He said he has right to check the room anytime he wants. We were shocked by his attitude and ashamed as our inners were on bed, kept on drier and in bathroom.

Very good location, nearby alot of local restaurant and shopping mall (Internasional Mall and Palembang Indah Mall. Just 15 minutes walk to Musi River, Ampera Bridge, Mosque, Muzium. Not far to Pasar Cinde and just next to Sunday Morning Bazar/Market. Breakfast is not a buffet but the staff will serve for you when you ask. Hotel lobby and dinning area very smelly with local ciggerate. The superior room is just ok, but the toilet no sink amd difficult to brush teeth. The hotel provided only one set toilettes and one towel which is two of us in the room. wifi only available in the hotel lobby and dinning area. I don't see any other foreign tourist at this hotel during my stay, mostly local tourist. The front desk staff helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for budget traveller only.

Breakfast is buffet I suggest however to include a variety for tourists like scrambled eggs, saussages or pancakes. The noise from hallways can be heard in room. Botheresome for business travelers or vacationers. TV programs are limited for English programs. Lots of mosquito in lobby. Better to enclose the coffee shop - dinning area. They did were not able to give me the room I wanted though but I managed. Location is close to shopping malls. Accessible to a lot of places. Overall, it was OK.

stayed 3 nights here. late check-in due to late arrival of flight. requested for airport transfer from the hotel management but none of it available. reached the hotel and ask the staff why there is no airport transfer as per requested. the answer is that they NEVER provide airport transfer.but it was indicated that airport transfer is available here in agoda. at least he hotel management should inform me earlier through phone or email that there is no airport transfer due to unavailability. during first day, went out for sight-seing around Palembang city, went back to room and found out that my room air-conditioned was turned-on! i am very sure that i turned it off before im leaving the room. and my room smell cigarette! even though i am a non-smoker. lucky that none-of my stuffs missing. as for the breakfast they provide, found hairs inside my meals. they should be aware of the cleanliness level of their food. overall the experience staying here is average. easy access to public transport (angkot)

the staff were really helpfull and friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was delicious, even this hotel is cheap but the service was really good, they have pool, even not good as 5 star hotel pool but its enough just for relax and play for the kids. we've a very pleasant experience with this hotel, soon we'll use this hotel again when we visit palembang

It was my first business trip at palembang. It was a cap go meh event so most of the hotels were fully booked. Last chance, I used agoda to booked this hotel because there was no chance to booked it manually onsite. I chose this hotel because its location and cleanliness. The staff were very nice too. I shall use this hotel again next time i visit palembang.

This hotel is outstanding value for money for a Western traveller. Central location, easy to get to from the incredible Light Rail that runs from the airport. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel itself cannot be faulted. But it lets itself down on a couple of area's .T e first is the breakfast. There are big stainless steel bowls of food with burners underneath to keep the food warm but they are not lit so the food is cold. The other problem is no hot water. It is just warm. But it is still a great little place to stay in the hectic pace of Palembang.

great price, helpful staff, close to big malls of Palembang Square and Palembang Icon Mall, nice room, wifi. The bed sheet and pillow sheet is a little old, otherwise, all is well and perfect for price and location.

Booking dengan Nama Red Door Premium, pas check in, katanya udah tidak kerja sama lagi sama Red Door, tapi untungnya masih diterima...😊 Kamar Cukup Luas, lokasi strategis tengah kota, bersebelahan dengan tempat kuliner khas Palembang...

This newly opened hotel is a welcome addition to the midrange category hotels in Palembang. While the rooms are small, they are spotlessly fresh and clean. There is a handy mini mart in the lobby and there is a nice cafe out front, too. The one drawback is location as the Zuri is a few kilometers out from the city centre. This will not be a problem for people with their own cars, but those without their own steam will have to rely on becaks or minibuses.

I like this hotel. I was there in Palembang for just one night therefore the hotel is just right for me. The room is quite spacious actually and the bathroom is big, considering the price. Didn't quite explore the hotel or use it's many facilities since I was out and about most of the time. There is a shopping mall right beside it so eating-wise is easy and convenient. But the location is quite far from the touristy places (Ampera Bridge, Museum Sriwijaya, etc). But if you want value for money, this hotel is a must.

We were in Palembang for family gathering, spent most of the time out of hotel. Its the best place for whom only need place to sleep during night, tune palembang agoda's fare included air conditioning, tv, pillow, and towel packages, but no breakfast. So you must go down to 2nd floor, in meeting room, which become temporary dining room. first day we had simple fried noodle, 2nd day was fried rice, 3rd day lotong curry. since agoda's room offers only available with no breakfast option, crew hotel refuse us purchase the 4th day breakfast due limited stock available. Room conditions was clean, but on 2nd day in the morning we found room with limited till no water supplies either for toilets flush and wastafel. Crew managed to swap the room, which much better water pressure, seems this hotel had a problem with water supply especially in rush our morning bath time. Overall, its worth place to stay with the best agoda deals ever ... it was 80% off with insider deal.

the location is not very good however there's many food stall in front off the lobby, the staff were very nice and professional i used garuda indonesia boarding pass to get discount voucher

Its nice and large room,clean but only for backpacker, its not suitable for family traveler.

Nice room with soft bed & linen, good air-con, clean , hot shower but a bit not strong water pressure. Great choice of breakfast & tasty for this budget hotel. Location a bit hard to find but near to Palembang Square in walking distance. Soon they will be a LRT station direct from airport by Aug 2018. Recommended

I was in Palembang to visit friends and thought I'd give this hotel a go for something new. It's a little out of the way if you need to be in the city centre, but if not, it's a nice little place to stay. The restaurant has decent food, but you can of course do much better if you venture out. That said, for a nice, cool place to sit, have a drink and read a book or use the Internet, no complaints from me. The Internet had problems in my room on 2nd floor, but it worked perfectly (and was even dare I say it rather fast) in the restaurant. For whatever reason they are on different networks, but it does work. No problems with the room at all. It was clean, quiet and quite comfortable. Staff were quite good as well and even received a package for me in my absence. For the price, you can't do much better in Palembang. I didn't plan to spend much time in my room, so all in all, I was rather satisfied.

I book superior room, and very happy because it's quiet large with king size bed. Location is great near to the city center and attraction in Palembang. Breakfast not really nice. Not much choice as it is 4 stars hotel. Even some 3 stars hotel in Palembang better in breakfast menu. The staff upon check in works really slow.

the reason i chose to stay at this hotel because the location is very near with the best mall in palembang which is palembang indah mall...the receptionist is nice and informative and the room is clean. just a bit dissapointed with the service of the housekeeping staff. breakfast is delicious and served in the nice restaurant with the antique interior.

I was enjoying my stay at Amaris Palembang. It's a brand new hotel but the facilieties were already function. It's easy to reach some famous culinaries places around the hotel.

Brand new hotel near Jakabaring Stadium, a bit far from city center but beside a brand new Mall. Typical of a new hotel, most staff face looks happy, friendly, polite, we found management team always around by corner in a meeting or briefing. But, slow check in process. We booked a standar room just a week before arrival date but the FO didn't received our agoda reservation. Room was big, clean, but no fridge and hairdryer. Breakfast menu was good, seems they had a very good chef .. delicious food. Surrounding area have Lady only spa, local dishes and Padang restaurants, water park, birds park, for sure we will come back again for next palembang trip.
