Shop for souvenirs: You can shop for Pangkor and Lumut souvenirs at the two stretches of shops at the jetty.
Need to build more good hotels and activity place in the island, if not there are not much things to to for families.
I was just in Lumut and did not cross to Pangkor. They have all the stuff I would get in Pangkor at the Lumut Waterfront so that is good.
Pangkor is a very natural sightseeing island, good for who like to play at beach. Nothing to shop and no nightlife at all.
A beautiful & peaceful island which u can enjoy all kind of sea water fun like snorkelling & diving. There are locak restaurant in the island as u can eat fresh seafood! Sightseeing for sure & nice resort around.
This island not very big, for me i think maximum 3 days 2 night will do. Advise to rent motorcycle so will be more easy go around.
Pulau Pangkor is a peaceful island, it is good for you to relax here and release your stress out from the city.
the main island is cheap comparing to pangkor laut where the island on its own. the city centre offers great variety of food and cultural.
It is a historic fishing village. Nice to adventure with only motorcycle and low cost both in rental and fuel.
Nothing special in Pangkor especially in town. Not many place of interest. Just beach and seafood attracting peoples.
the island near the mainland ,about 30 mins ferry.so can short weeknd relaxing. a lot of local product, like dried fish, charter to around the island about 70 rm
suitable for young couple who are on tight budget. one or two is enough. but i was expecting more fine dining here
Hated it. The whole population of tourists are muslim who seem to think its ok to stare at us because we were western.
Pangkor is a small island. There is not much to see. aA half day ride is sufficient. But if you take a boat island hopping and go snorkelling, then it is much more enjoyable.
Pangkor is a small island Perak. We can went to this island by ferry from Lumut jetty. Is takes about 20 minutes journey to this island.

A very peaceful place to relex. Lots of interesting outdoor activities especially snookeling, island hopping, fishing and other sea activities.
Pangkor Island is a resort island off the coast of Perak, Malaysia. It has a population of approximately 25,000.
Pangkor Lau is better but if all is booked there Pankor island could be a good second choice. I liked the Anjungan Hotel cause it is quite isolated and very near to the sea.
The locals are very friendly, food is alright, many to choose of local cuisines and seafood restaurants and stalls, taxi drivers are friendly and so far none were dishonest on charging fee, they are consistent.
the restaurant chinese seafood quite famous and nice open sin 530pm but need to wait at least 1 hour.
Beside snorkeling or banana boat or jet ski, u can't do anything more in the island, this island is more about spend time when u 're boring
Go beach do snorkeling n jet ski, nightlife only one pub in town, whole pub only me n my wife, u can ask owner switch astro channel to watch movie
Pangkor island is nice to have a break from KL. Close located, it's easy to reach the place and the hotel are quite cheap during low season (not during special events).
Its a small island with semi-developed infrastructure. You can go around the island on rental bikes or taxi.
The beaches are nice and clean and a lots of water sports activities. There are also little islands where you can go by boat for snorkling or even fishing.
Most attractions here are small area, except Fu Lin Kong temple, there are 3 giant arapaima fish, they could have live longer than me.
PANGKOR IS A FISH VILLAGE, YOU CAN FIND A VERY FRESH SEAFOOD FROM THIS BEACH, THE ALSO SALE THE PROCESSED DRY FISH, SALTY FISH IS VERY FRESH AND TRADITIONAL HAND MAKE.
Small island but nice place. The transport is easy to get and valuable for money. The transport also very comfortable.
