Paphos hotels & places to stay

It was great! All staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us early check in cause we had a wedding ceremony in the middle of the day and early check in was surely important for us - my bride was prepared in the room, made hairstyling and photo session. Thanks for that! Also our room was the best one with great sea view, nicely decorated and with handwritten congrats in postcards. Will recommend this hotel! Really the best one on Cyprus!

I would like to highly recommend this hotel. Everything was super and more. Hotel is very nicely furnished and super clean. Our room had a huge balcony and was cozy. All staff were friendly and helpful. Only 6 minutes by taxi to Paphos harbour. Breakfast was delicious and Spa was also very good.

Walkable distance from centrum(harbor) ~17-20min either by street or the pedestrian walkway at sea coast , and simalarly walkable till the old town and/or Karavella Intercity Bus station. Hotel is rather new and this was nearly main reason for me to decide. ...and it confirmed in good way. Negative: 1- In-room wi-fi is payable alike eur 5/day, or eur 15/week. Free wi-fi only at lobby. 2-Many russian visitors (also in Paphos in general)...their (some persons) behavior and domestic culture might be annoying for un european.

We visiting Paphos and this hotel during the New Years Period. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful. My partner and I are a Young couple (early 30's) so from the photos, location and reviews - we were expecting a little more to be honest. I wouldn't personally recommend to younger couples as there are probably more modern places we would prefer as we thought it would be more upscale for the price. We were literally and officially the youngest couple there. Everyone there was MUCH older than us. I think the decor and the hotel itself are more suited to the more mature couples or retired couples. There wasn't much in the location open as was New Years and winter period. Would definitely recommend hiring a car which is MUCH cheaper than using taxis unless you are happy with local transport. Fuel is also extremely cheap. Overall, Food is amazing (even breakfast), Gym facilities are great, hotel is clean and staff are great. Cant really fault any of the services at all!

Friendly staff, who try their best to assist Our room, 313, is a 1 bedroom apartment, with kitchen facilities, dining table, sofa, flat screen TV and bench area. The room also has a in room safe, second TV in the bedroom, robes, large shower area and laminated timber floors throughout. Free parking is also available upon request. The hotel has a pool, pool lounges, gym, games room, restaurant, computer facilities., self control air conditioner. In room wifi is chargeable and will provide access for 4 devices. Free wifi is available in the public areas and pool area only. Great location, beautiful laid out pool area, great facilities, tastefully decorated and equipped room (313). Paphos main area, loads of resturants, Paphos Castle and museum, beaches, night clubs, cafes. Kings Avenue mall is a 5 min drive away.

It was my first visit in Cyprus and very successful!!! the people in Cyprus very nice. the stuff was very patient! the breakfast was very varied. i'am sure that we'll come back

The owner could not have been more helpful. Everything required for an extended stay was available. Fitting and fixtures were very good. The location meant you really needed a car but the view we had was excellent

This place I is great for an affordable getaway. The rooms are huge & there is a family friendly pool area with resort sized main pool. The rooms are fairly basic so if you like to stay in style this isn't for you, but is perfectly good value for those who don't mind a basic interior lay out. The outside looks really flash & is quiet at night. It's a 5 minute walk to restaurants & bars & 10 ~ 15 minutes to the ruins & main local bus routes (there's an irregular one out the front)

This hotel does not have the decor standards of other 5star hotels but it is clean and very organised however there is a restricted atmosphere that doesn’t allow staff the freedom to use their initiative and is a little invasive for the guests who are not given enough privacy. Dishes removed while you or your partner are still eating. Too many difrent waiters and managers approaching you all the time. On arrival there is an awkward welcome with pressure to be carted off to a specific room (without explanation) for the welcome drink and check in, where you are bombarded with information that could just be handed to you to process at your leisure. It would be much friendlier and comfortable to sit in the open lounge. If a guest has special needs or diet they can offer this information but it doesn’t need to be shared and discussed in public with entire staff and other guests unless the you request it. Room cleaning lacked continuity. There were other issues but no more space to ad.

Lady of the guest house is very friendly and hospitable. Stayed only for one night and havent faced anything bad.

Smooth check in and check out. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked 2 bedrooms apartment. The master room toilet could not flush properly. The common room toilet light was down and we had to wait at the room for them to fix it and thus we missed the departure time to see the sunset at the Bay :( Overall good, recommended.

This hotel has a great location with a private beach. Perfect place to watch sunsets. Ample free onsite parking. Hotel staff were very friendly and super helpful. The entire facility could use some updating/remodeling. Very outdated gym. Rooms were plain and needed some updating. 5 euros a day for a mini fridge and 2 euros a day for a security box. Reception had adaptor for a 5 euro deposit which was super handy since we didn't realize the plugs were the UK kind. Breakfast was a large hot spread, but of low quality ingredients. WiFi worked in room, but not great. With a face lift and high quality food, this place would be a five star hotel!

A very nice hotel, positioned near the main town centre ( about a 15min walk to the harbour where you'll find several bars and resturants. The hotel itself had a nice pool area and several activies within the complex.Be mindful of the prices for a beer in Paphos as value for money is a thing of the past here considering what you get. Food is poor close to the front and over priced, but look around and you'll find some nice places. I would not choose this hotel again however due to the fact i would not choose Cyprus again as a holiday destination.

Second time we have stayed here. Great location for accessing the District of Paphos. Rooms are unique in design as is the building. Shower facilities need improving. Great food and recommend the fish meze for dinner. Would stay a maximum of 2 nights due to the rooms being a little small and the shower issue, but for the price .........?!

We stayed in the Avanti Holiday Village for 3 nights because we were attending a wedding in a nearby hotel. We really enjoyed our stay in a self-catering apartment. The way the apartments are laid out as little houses was very attractive, with winding paths and gardens between them. There is a very pleasant pool area, and a reasonably nice restaurant next to the pool. There are supermarkets, bars and restaurants all very close, and the centre of Paphos is walkable (or a short taxi ride).

The room is just perfect, the cleanliness was awesome, the pool is wonderful, everything is more beautiful than in the pictures, the location is very central with all kinds of restaurants and entertainment by foot, the pool bar have a very cold draft beer and decent food, nothing to complain at all, i will be back for sure! To be more perfect they just need to enable wi-fi inside the rooms.

Starting at check in - chocolates and champagne. rooms were mini suites. all facilities for cooking in, which we did not use, prefering to eat out. Staff were super friendly. only meals we ate the hotel was breakfast, which was outstanding. Pools and fitness center outstanding. Middle price for this type of hotel , but you really cann't beat it. Strongly recommended.

This hotel is very central in Paphos. We were very happy with the price we paid for 5 days as it's great value for money. It is very clean and our room was seen to daily. We had a negative experience at night due to a noisy and drunk man but that's not the hotel's fault and they acted quickly in making sure it did not happen again. The breakfast although small has everything you need. I would recommend Pyramos again.

Great hotel apartments, lovely swimming pool. You might need a car to get around if traveling with small children. The people are extremely nice and welcoming. Very peaceful place. Better than many of the 5 star hotels I ever been to.

Quite a hike up the footpath to & from the main road kept me fit.The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful in answering my queries´. The food in the restaurant was excellent and quite reasonably priced. There wereóptional organised activities for guests, e.g. learning the basics of scuba diving. The best aspects of the resort were the ability to was and dry clothes in the studio & its balcony, and the secure lay-out of the individual apartments. The swimming beach is very small, so could get a little crowded, but for pools were available for swimming.Unfortunately there was an islandwide power failure on the last day, and the water was also cut of for a couple of hours.

the room was aging a bit, but otherwise was in fine condition. nice that wireless was included (but only available in the lobby). warning though if you go in the winter - heating the room costs extra. the location is a bit away from the tourist section of town (wich may be a boon to some of you).

5 min walk to the sea, 5 min drive to the city, calm and comfortable plus quiet pub just behind the corner...

Good location near buses and tavernas in the older part of town. Good value for money and clean with helpfull staff and free wi fi.Worth staying in rooms away from the main road to avoid traffic noise.Very close to Muse which gets goods reviews for its food and views. If needing to stay in paphos overnight would consider using again.

There's a small real ale and cider place in the lane between the apts which is the best in town. Lovely view from the sea front apts. Cons there's quite a few steps to climb.. The guy who showed me the apt did not explain anything about the apt but the cleaner in the morning did. The WiFi is not free but depending where you are you could pick the WiFi up from the restaurant below and the ale house. If you arrive on a Friday sort everything out at the office because it's closed on the weekends. Beautiful stay.
