Beautiful sunrise, beach, sand, night sky and stars in front the hostel. Well maintained and relaxing environment. Try 1$ daily meal. It's great, esp the kebab. Different program every night. If you don't want to join, they won't bug you. Love to stay here. Note: this is not about the hostel, but since I ordered this tour from the hostel I should make review also. Thi...

A nice hotel with very good price. Small notes: Local food specialties are not widely available at nearby reataurants. The public beach near the hotel (the alley next to Ocean resort) is not very beautiful. Shops nearby are unreasonably expensive. Prepare your snacks before hands or go to Phan Thiet if you want good prices Avoid rain season (jun &july) if you want ...

The title should say it all: I'm a super fussy backpacker. I was dreading staying here after a few bad hostels and hotels but what a pleasant surprise! The private room we booked was super clean, well decorated and more like a resort room than a hostel room. Aircon worked well, bed was squeaky clean and shower was hot and powerful. Loved the common areas with all the ...

The toilets were disgusting. The staff was rude, the less friendly in the while trip so far. The exception was the Vietnamese lady that made her best to make us feel good. But the Russian owners were just too unfriendly. The room is next to the bar were the owners and their friends play loud music and drink until late at night, if you want to rest you can't! Basical...

The location is good, pretty near tourist attractions (Fairly spring, red sand dune...) and not far from the city of Phan Thiết. Staff is pretty helpful. Facilities are basic though the room is pretty clean. But room's description need to be updated (in Agoda's description, it is 1 bed in 4-bed dorm room, but in fact, it is 1 bed in 8-bed dorm room).

When I search in google map, I found that this hotel was far away from Sinh Tourist Mui Ne (~1km) However, the fact is I just walked 30 seconds from Sinh Tourist Mui Ne and I arrived the hotel. The hotel is owned by a couple of Vietnamese & Russian. They were very friendly and helped us to settle at the most convenience room (as I brought 2 big luggages with my ...

I was in upset after my mom passed away..I booked a room where there are 6 beds.its really warm and cheerful...!thank you china, Germany, Argentina friends who i did nopt know but they helped me to pass this sadness..!best wishes to all of you in Vietnam tour..!

Located in a very good location - close to restaurants (and simple and cheaper home restaurants). The beach is just a few mins away. To rent a motorbike is easy in a Guest House or any other place outside (don't go to white dunes with the motorbike - police traps for tourists). The rooms are well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

I stayed there 4 night. It was the great relaxing. Great atmosphere with sea view. Staffs are very nice people helpful, friendly and kind. This hotel provided the necessary things that you will need for traveling in Mui Ne like cheap motorbike rental, tour desk, massage, spa etc. For sure I will come back and I’m highly recommend this hostel.

This is a pretty average hotel, and I have stayed at many in Vietnam. The price is decent, which is why we picked it. And it's not too far from the beaches, although there are obviously much closer options. The staff's command of English isn't very good, so asking about places to go or asking for directions or any kind of hotel-related inquiries is pretty pointless. It...

Far from city center but walking distance (30-35 Min) to Fairy Stream (a must see). And in front of The Sigh Tourist bus company (one of the best to travel around Vietnam). If you want to go to city centre there are plenty taxis or you can catch a local bus (I think one every 30 Min) that are very cheap.

This is really a guest house not resort ! Location at the center Mui Ne. Room is Ok with thr cost you pay for it. Outside room decorate with tree and flowers look very feshair and romantic. There are many shop, restaurant and bars here. It is very busy street at night. Walk on the left side about 7 minutes meet the seafood street that you can bargin with cheap price ! ...

Good place! Very nice and approachable staff. There are a lot of good restaurants along side and very affordable. There is a tour agency at the lobby if you want to do sand dunes and others. You can also book bus trips going to HCM and you will be picked up at the property so it is very convenient. I will definitely recommend and go back here.

We booked this place for about SGD$40 a night, breakfast included. We were assigned the private beach hut next to where the frontline beach chairs were, literally half a minute from the beach itself. The bed was large and comfortable and clean, and some toiletries were provided along with fresh towels and bottled water daily. The resort itself was very quiet when we...

I like this hotel. The room is so big with bathtub. The owner is so friendly and very cared about his customer. We rent a motorbike in the Hotel. The owner also give advise to us about the police when we ride in mui ne. Out of the hotel i visit in vietnam (from ho chi minh to sapa), this is the best hotel with good and friendly owner. For muslim travellers, this ho...

I booked a double room with a bathroom. They let me have an early check in since I arrived from Saigon very early in the morning. It was 4 a.m. and I did appreciate it. I would definitely stay at the Garden Homestay Phan Thiet again and recommend this accommodation. The only thing I expect more is the TV cable services. Because I didn't prepare a USB or HDMI cable to...

We have family in Phan Thiet so we travel frequently there. Comparing to other hotels in the city center, it's much cleaner and well equipped with the price. If you're an outdoor person, you can choose this hotel to save money cause you will be outside all the time and it's good to rest at night. Drinks in minibar are with good price. Room is clean with comfortable bed...

We stayed for 2 nights with our 3 children and had s wonderful time. We felt very welcome and our host took great care of us. The location was idea. We walked across the road to tgr entrance of Fairy stream where we walked to the waterfall and back in the morning. Then we had time for a rest and nap in our room before our jeep tour of the fishing village and dunes in...

I'm very please with the quality of the hotel. It's located near the beach. The staff were friendly and they told me where to go.You can travel by bus to Phan Thiet market or anywhere else,or you can hire a motorbike and go around. If i have opportunity to go to Muine again,i'll come back here
5-star hotels in Phan Thiet

I stayed in phan thiet for 2 days,my first day I stayed in the Cliff resort but their staff are so rude and unprofessional. So I changed to this hotel on my second day which is the best choice I've ever made. Their service was very good. Fast check in. Friendly and professional staff. Everyone, from the house keeper to the manager or the singer in the restaurant smiled...

The resort is situated in the middle of nowhere. We actually had to find out how to get there, as it is not easy... (just get a way to Phan Thiet, either bus, train, etc and then a cab from Phan Thiet to Ke Ga). The rooms are awesome. Large, with a magnificent bed and a good bath/shower. The service is also amazing, almost private-service like. you will get a dec...

We stayed a little over a week in this hotel and it was a great experience. The staff is always friendly and ready to help you. The hotel has many activities to do, mainly we did tennis and golf and chilling by the pool after walking in town or coming back from a tour. The breakfast is really good and the options for lunch and dining are wide and good quality as well. ...
Traveler impressions of Phan Thiet
The only place I visited in Phan Thiet in Mui Ne. In the other area in Phan Thiet like the train station, I walked around the neighbourhood.
Phan Thiet is a beautiful town lined along the coast. They have numerous seafood restaurants and hotels.
Phan tiet is not far from Ho chi minh City, it take 4 hour by train or 5 hour by bus, please visit this place
Full of dour russians and lots of jellyfish.everything touristy and overpriced...like tenerife of viet nam.
Nice place for sea and beach. A bit far off Ho Chi Minh city. Seafood is great. Beach is nice. There are many restaurants, cafe and also some live music bars.
The sight seeing point of interests are the fairy stream, Red canyon, white sand dunes, lotus lake etc which is normal and worth just a see.
Well first of all you need to separate Phan Thiet from Muine. Muine was builded early 80 ties and it is only tourist place with many resorts and hotels all kind.
Didn't stay in the town, but did go in for some shopping. It has both local markets as well as mart still shopping.
The area used to be a paradise (15 years back), but now, overexploted and infested of russians. Not reccomended unless you like a rough atmosphere (noisy, drunk people, etc.
Nothing much to do besides relaxing and indulging yourself in mediation within the calm nature and beaches.
Actually if you are from cold weather country, you can stay more than 3 nights for sun and sand. local people are very friendly
Beautiful discovery. Good to be able to see this excellent beach and sand dunes when it is not yet too crowded.
There are nothing much to do besides the beach, sand and seafood. If you can ride motorbike, there is beautiful scene on the way to White Sand Dune.
First you need to understand that Phan Thiet is located around 8 kilometers from Muine and it is not a tourist city as much is Muine.
Overall a pleasant stay. The hotel is not new, but reasonably well maintained. Our beach-side room was large and convenient because we could access the pool and beach directly from our patio.
Phan Thiet is not yet commercialized. It is still very cultural and youll see how you can just blend in with the locals.
took a half day trip on jeep with driver, to the fairy stream, white dunes, red dunes and fishing village.
Ham Tien Beach is all Russian, kitesurfers, some couples and few backpackers. The beach is nice but not very relaxing due to high winds and sand pelting you in the face as you try to soak up the sun.
I haven't been stayed at Phan Thiet city, I only stayed at Mui Ne, a beautiful beach place, cheap price and many resorts.
quiet little fishing town. nice to away from ho chi minh. things are little bit slower here which is good.
fairly clean city, busy during rush hour, but not as busy as ho chi minh. rent a motorbike and cruise around.
eat some fresh seafood... maybe some iguana?! try it. be adventurous! the squid is delicious, especially grilled and dipped in Moui.
didnt find too much noght life... just sitting around the bars and restaurants drinking and eating seafood with family.
There is a very popular eatery located just outside the grounds of the Ocean Dunes Resort providing great barbeque fare, particularly seafood.
The beach county is a suitable place for honeymoon or vacation trip with family. You can try many kind of dishes made from fresh seafood at any restaurant there
Phan Thiet city is the capital of Bình Thuận province, in southeastern Vietnam, where all government offices for the province are located.
Visit the Fairy Stream and walk through the red canyons, ride the red sand dunes on plastic sheeting.
What a lovely city. Everyone very friendly and its very spacious unlike other cities. Defienatly worth a visit.
Very minimal tourist activities in the city. The only reason we came down here was to take the train to HCM.
Actually, i didn't stay at Phan Thiet. I stay and travel at Mui Ne. I had diner and Phan Thiet city. Food is good but little bit expensive i feel.

More about Phan Thiet
The Kingdom of Champa ruled from the 7th to 17th centuries, leaving a thousand years' worth of Hindu-like spires, stone structures, and pagodas such as the famous Linh Long Pagoda.
The port town is ideal for a day visit, but there's plenty to keep tourists here overnight. The best accommodations can be found at beaches like Doi Duong and Mue Ne where resorts welcome weekenders from Ho Chi Minh City on a regular basis. This city is popular with locals and tourists alike because of the abundant natural beauty and cultural interests. Tourists who are able to get around town with a motorbike can easily find the old town fishing villages where everything looks like it did a century ago.
Getting to this city is easy to do for those who are already in the country, as there is no airport in Phan Thiet, but the train station is less than ten miles from the city center. Most tourists arrive by bus from Ho Chi Minh City, which can be reached in around two hours.
