The Paxton Hotel
South End,Port Elizabeth - View on map
"Lovely spacious room and bathroom with tea/coffee station and bathroom accessories like shampoo, soap, shower cap and body lotion. Air con was noisy in our room and we asked for a sea-facing room which had a lovely view over the harbour but the noise from traffic and road below!!! I'll definitely stay again but will request a back facing room with no view, but I would rather have a good night's sleep. A very nice hotel, clean, impression of open space and very pleasant staff at reception. We got a very good rate through agoda "

Pine Lodge Resort
Summerstrand,Port Elizabeth - View on map
"The facility is very peaceful, with activities to enjoy on the premises. The staff could have outlined all the available activities when we were booking in but we just got our key and a map to premises and that was that, more interaction would be good for first timers. due to a burst pipe we did not have water on our 3rd day and when water returned there was no hot water. The room could also do with a microwave. "

The Hub Boutique Hotel
Walmer,Port Elizabeth - View on map
"When I booked the Guest House I expected OK, but received excellent everything. The staff are amazing with their service, I'd give their hospitality 5 stars. The house keeping is by someone who has a hands on approach. Rooms were spotlessly clean, also newly renovated with totally modern furniture and linen. Bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. "

City Lodge Hotel Port Elizabeth
Summerstrand,Port Elizabeth - View on map
"I have just returned from a three night stay at the City Lodge Port Elizabeth, whilst attending the SA Society of Aaesthesiologists annual congress. Everything was fantastic with real value for money. Location is really a five minute walk to the Boardwalk Hotel and Conference Centre. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Service is very good. This is like a mini five star hotel without the five star prices. Only thing is the breakfast is expesive at R165 but the spread is very good. Still, there is only so much one can eat, and R165 is expensive, when you can get restaurant breakfasts across the road for less than half the price."
