Puncak hotels & places to stay

Great new(ish) hotel in Puncak. Room is spacious and clean. Hotel is quite big. But the best part is the paddy field, river, etc behind the hotel. An experience for our younger ones who rarely go to this kind of environment.

This is a new hotel and one of the best hotel in Puncak area. Modern and minimalist design. We can enjoy executive lounge if we booked a studio room. In the morning we can join a yoga class. The food is quite varied. The hotel's location far enough away from the crowds and still not too cold here, but overall excellent for a hotel in Puncak area

Its a good hotel in Puncak, since its a modern hotel. There are many hotels in Puncak but mostly too old, this one is fresh and new. And it has Air Conditioner! Yes i know its in Puncak and the weather already cool enough, but when you got isolated in the room you need an AC, and nowdays puncak is not as cold as before. Its has many space for young children to have fun, such as pool, playground, kids corner, and space with artificial grass so children can run free. I have a experience: When i got there i try to have a lunch in the restaurant, maybe because its so many guest in the restaurant, i feel they are taking too long to prepare my lunch, so i decide to cancelled it and have lunch outside the hotel. Then Tomorrow morning when i go to the restaurant for a breakfast, the manager come to me to appology about yesterday incident and explain why they taking so long to prepare my lunch. So they give me free breakfast as an appology. And apollogy accepted. They have good attitude and very care to the guest. So i recommnded this hotel.

Our stay in Puncak was amazing solely because of our hotel stay in Novus Resort. Puncak as a weekend getaway was not a smart decision because of the terrible traffic. However, Novus Resort was beautiful. Our rooms were clean and the stone flooring adds a rustic element to our stay. We had rooms on the second floor facing the garden area (although I would not call it garden as it looked like a nature site behind the resort). The air was amazingly fresh and cooling which is a million times better than our mornings in Singapore. It was a very private view which was very much appreciated because we could open our balcony wide while relaxing in our rooms, taking in the wonderful view and clean fresh air. My only disappointment was the buffet breakfast. The food was pretty good but the spread was very limited. We ordered room service for dinner and the food was delicious! The service was fast which was good as we were all starving after a day out and spa. The spa was satisfying. The ladies were efficient and wonderfully trained in the art of relaxing massage. It was a wonderful way to end our day after exploring Puncak the whole morning and afternoon. The spa suites were beautifully designed and it felt like we were having a massage right in the middle of a private forest. Definitely the best part of our stay.

My family and I were going to Taman Safari Lodge in Puncak, West Java, Indonesia for a family trip during the new year holiday. We spent 1 night at this hotel. We booked the caravan room and it was clean enough. It was really good and satisfying. It has 1 main bedroom with king bed, a double-deck bed for children, a small bathroom, and a sofa for watching tv. It also has a terrace with 2 relaxing chairs in front of the caravan. Near my caravan was the restaurant, pond, playgrounds, and swimming pool. The service of the restaurant's waiters are good and served us with smile. Overall, my family and I had a nice experience of staying in Taman Safari Lodge.

Location on main road of Cipanas next to Istana Kepresidenan Cipanas (Presidential Palace Cipanas). I got balcony at room and view to Mt. Gede . No AC but quiet cool weather at night. Calm place. Good food & view to mountain from restaurant. Has playground for toddler and good swimming pool. Traffic on the way to the hotel in Puncak area from Jakarta or Bogor. Closest place from hotel is Taman Raya Cibodas but not recommended to visit because crowded reseller foods, gimmicks and decent view only.

The place is amazing and luxury. It has large play ground for children, small zoo, swimming pool and football beach! Also, there are mini Jeep for rent with an amazing track and there is a Jungle that is exciting for walk. You can spend many hours in the hotel enjoying their facilities. The staff is super cooperative and you get everything really fast. The restaurant is excellent. The only drawback i see is that it is difficult to reach. It will take you around 20 min from Puncak road to reach the hotel and there is no supermarkets nearby. You still can ask the security team to purchase for you using their motorcycle but you will pay them a tip.

It was amazing holiday to Puncak, despite of the traffic jam. We got new bungalow and friendly staff to assist us eventhough we arrived at hotel very late after visiting Taman Safari Indonesia at Cisarua. We checked the the room is very clean and most of it we have hot water in the bathroom. That's what we need after long journey and cold weather.

this is a wonderful hotel for honeymoon or couples. But there are some points for hotel's development. the road to hotel is considered light offroad and quite far (-/+ 1 km from main road) and dark at night. better use SUV or MPV or a jeep if you want to go there. there is no signboard "Jimmers Hotel" in the main road so the guest will be difficult to know exactly the location is. the last is there is no fixed line telephoe and credit card transaction noy yet ready(cash only) in hotel. But when you stay, you will get the wonderful skynight night stars and the flip flop light from houses around the mountain.The last but not least, the best and biggest swimming pool in Puncak!

Hotel was clean and neat so feels like home. Staff was also very helpful. The hotel got a spacious room so you will feel comfortable staying with Puncak as your surroundings.

The room have modern style (not oldiest like another hotel in puncak), clean bathroom, well heater. We order room only, exclude breakfast so that we don't know how is the taste of the meals in there. The situation and environment so natural and peaceful. This my first time at Arra and we are very satisfied. Wanna try the villa for the next.

I chose this hotel because I thought this hotel is quite near to the entrance of Taman Safari. I am quite impressed with this hotel, eventhough the price is a little bit pricy for a hotel located in Cisarua area, this hotel gives a good service. The room is a little bit old, but was renovated and the furnishing is new. It has LCD TV eventhough there's a lot of statics for international TV show. There is hot water, but yeah, it takes like about 30 seconds before the hot water pour after you open the shower. What impress me is the breakfast. It gaves us a buffet breakfast. It provides a simple salad bar, breads and pastries, omelletes, fried rice, sausage, fried noodles, prodiges, veggies, fruit juice, and fruit bar. It is not a luxurious hotel, but for the price, I think this hotel deserves a thumbs up. Tip: If you are planning to go to Taman Safari by car, depart from hotel before 11 so you would not be jammed with traffic from Puncak to Jakarta. Don't worry of one-way traffic time from downhill because the distance between hotel entrance and Taman Safari road is quite near.

The hotel is located away from the bustle of the main road where most hotels and resorts are located. Though it is 1 km down hill off the road, it is easy to get a shared angkot just outside the hotel to go anywhere in Puncak including all tourist places like botanical gardens, flower garden, tea plantations etc for just $1-2 per person (IDR 5000 - 20000 depending on where you go from that town) The hotel itself is huge with airy open spaces, in a quiet environment with a garden and lots of greenary. The rooms are huge and clean. Yes sometimes during the day you will hear from the mosque loud speakers but it is unavoidable anywhere in the towns there. You wont hear a thing if inside the room and keep your doors closed. Most of the time it is very peaceful to sit in the balcony. Take a room in the backside of the Hotel facing the volcano, not front side. I must appreciate the service of the staff. All of them were very cheerful and always ready to help you with whatever you ask. The hotel is clearly not behind your money trying to sell you things or charge more for water or food. Infact the food is very cheap yet good. The breakfast is limited but you get bread, eggs, sausage and some indonesian dishes with cereals juice coffee, tea or chocolate. So that was more than enough for us. And the food is 24hrs unlike Puncak pass resort where we stayed before where they closed everything at 9pm and refused to serve us even bread. And priced their food very high. Do take for the value for money, service and peaceful location. You will like it.

we have nice vacation in Parama. room was clean & spacious with large bed.. the swimming pool is big enough, unfortunately the water slide is under maintenance. we could stay there again for next vacation in Puncak.

We are group of 8 people. Because of complicated-one-way-puncak-regulation, we ended up come to villa earlier (around 9 am). The villa is not that difficult to find because the detailed information given in the booking form. The nice was, the staff give us one room to rest because the villa was not available yet (the previous rent had not yet check out ). And at 10 am we can use the villa ! The staff is friendly, it's quite, clean, the swimming pool is quite clean and cold ! It's really fun. It's worth our money :)

I booked one day before arrival since most of the property in Puncak were fully booked. Suprisingly the room was clean,bathroom also clean..all the staff were helpful n fast response although it was a long weekend holiday.. swimming pool also clean..

What a great and lovely moment can vacation with whole families especially my parents really excited...wanna more...and more come to here...really refreshing, is there any way to go into beside throught Puncak Pass?the traffic bad.

The best spot to see the mountain is in the rooftop, and it can be selling point for the hotel if they can makeover the rooftop with some decoration. The garden need to be well organized. Overall we like this hotel.

we stayed in this hotel during new year's eve. We booked 1 villa (Jasmine Villa) which has 3 bedrooms + 1 living room (also function as kitchen) + 1 terrace. To avoid traffic jam, we arrived there in the morning and luckily the villa was empty so we may checked in at 8am (good service from the hotel staff). The hotel is located on the valley and our villa was located in Talita 2 (which is higher than Talita 1). The view is very nice (mountain, trees and Cipanas/Puncak city). Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is good. The resort only has 1 small swimming pool which is located in Talita 1. The view from the terrace (balcony) is very nice. We can watch fireworks from all around our villa and Puncak area since the hotel located on higher place. The bed is also nice and big. The food is OK. We recommend this hotel for those who want to relax and enjoy holiday time.

The cottage is good, spacey, and not too far up in Puncak. My children love the place, and it is high value-for-money you can get in Puncak Area. The food tho, not so great. Considering it is managed by Royal Tulip, I was expecting the food is at least in the same quality. You get what you pay, tho.

Menurut saya, hotelnya cukup nyaman, room dan bungalow bersih, toilet bersih, parkir luas, play ground ok cocok buat yang ajak anak2 liburan, staff ramah dan helpful banget, swimming pool walau agak ke kepojok dan tidak terlalu luas tapi masih ok dan bersih ( secara udara selalu dingin, ga akan kuat juga lama2 berendam di pool ) kalau kita bicara hotel jayakarta puncak secara utuh..dua jempol kok. tapi (maaf..) kalau pengunjung yang ga bawa kendaraan ada tips yaa..tolong pastikan anda membawa semua perlengkapan selama anda di hotel buat yang mau cari makanan,susu, snack dll...agak effort buat jalan kaki keluar hotel yang cukup jauh dari jalan besar. kalaupun beli di warung sekitar harganya lumayan di ketok ya..hehe. lalu buat yang bawa mobil kudu punya extra skill dan mobil kudu sehat karena jalannya sempit kalau berpa2san dengan mobil dari arah berlawanan harus mengalah, mepet atau tekuk spion, jalan yang menanjak curam juga harus di pikirin .. tapi buat hotelnya two thumbs up kok..

Some rooms and toilet needs renovation. Staff are polite and helpful. Sharing facilities with opposite hotel. Overall is ok.

Pleasant Stay with good hospitality staff & service. The only Minor thing is environmental hygiene (Many flies), maybe because it's too crowded (Stay During High season btw). Great Value for Money vacation in cianjur puncak area.

Good place and facilities, easy to find, we have a great time here with our daughter... For family or group in vacation, this place is very recommended.

I was surprised when I booked this place. The price is cheaper than other, room was big and clean, the staff were very friendly. And the location is very near to The Ranch Puncak. Definitely will stay here again.

We highly recommend this hotel for its marvellous mountain views. It has the best mountain views compare to other hotel in puncak. It is situated in best location, since it's just a minute walk to cimory and matahari. It has uniques and clean rooms especially the bathroom with nature theme. We feels like we are in Bali hotels, since it's so naturals, with lots of trees and plants. The children also having lots of fun in the swimming pool and jacuzzi (the jacuzzi we can request for hot water, which is highly recommended since puncak temperature is mainly cold) . It's really nice to spoil yourself and relaxing yourself from everyday work stress and work tiredness by enjoying the luxury of deeping into hot water in jacuzzi when the surrounding weather are cold. All tiredness and stress are gone. It has delicious breakfast, food and top hotel services, My son like it and we will want to come back for more stays next time. We are highly recommending this hotel,

The place is quite far from any food market, so will be better if you prepare to buy more food. If you come with public transportation you should pick to ride a public motorcycle (ojek) rather than yellow car (angkot), because to reach Berlian Resort you just need to pay IDR 5000 with ojek. The facilities is okay, you can play tennis, basketball and futsal. They also rent the tennis racket and the ball. Next time I come here I will bring sport shoes and jogging there because the air is so fresh. Although, the room was not really clean but the staff are helpfull.
