Best hotels & accommodations in Pyeongtaek-si

Hotel staff was amazing. Spoke great English, gave great directions, provided shuttle information to base and offered local details. Room was comfortable but more crowded than other 2 bed rooms, due to the "Balcony" set up. Did not use the breakfast area, but it looked well set up and had a variety of items. It is 20-25 minutes from Pyeongtaek, but is the closest "Non-motel" option. Liked they have English travel brochures for your in the lobby. Bed comfortable, had refrigerator and coffee & tea option in the room. Good pressure on shower and "American" sized towels.

Have stayed here now several times and really no complaints at all. It literally, about a 10 minute ( or less ) walk from the Air Base and right in the middle of the shopping district. The room is basically a studio apartment with all the amenities you would need from home.

The room itself was quite lovely and very clean. My transport from the airport to the hotel had left me stranded and once I had taken a bus from Incheon to Anjung-eup, the staff were nice enough to send someone to pick me up from the bus terminal which saved me the cost of a taxi. The location is a bit far off from the rest of Anjung but it is very close to the Home Plus which makes shopping a breeze and Anjung is so small that you can walk across the entire town in half an hour. The downside to my stay is that the cleaning service only seemed to come in when I are out of my room and as I was stuck in my room due to a typhoon, they did not come to clean my room. I had to call down to reception to ask for the cleaning service. The bed is hard but all Korean beds are hard. They provided fresh towels daily contrary to what another review had said. My one gripe was that the restaurant and other attractions such as the nightclub were closed the entire time I was there which made finding food a little difficult. There is complimentary bottled water and coffee. There is also a small bar fridge and kettle so I just stocked up on some cup noodles since the restaurant was closed. The staff does not speak a word of English so communication is VERY difficult but they did try their absolute best to be helpful.

It should be noted that this hotel is in the style of a "love motel" and is located within Pyeongtaek's red light district. However, I thought both the room and bathroom are the best I have seen for this room rate. Also, the young gentlemen who manage the front desk are among the politest I have ever encountered anywhere.
