The city is very complex. Traffic delays also can you see often. But people are very friendly. However, they do not speak English.
Body language is often needed at this moment. And walk to where the river meets the sea was good.
Easy to explore certain places by taking public transport. The bus stop does list the bus numbers stopping at the bus stop, the name of the bus stops the bus number will go to (to plan what bus to take to the location).
Be prepare to bring exact change to pay for the bus fare while taking buses in Quanzhou. Shout to the driver that you want to alight at the place in advance else he may not stop the bus despite pressing the stop bell.
Quanzhou used to be the oldest sea port in CHina. But I can not smell nor see any historic atomsphere
I found the city to be clean. The lights in the city at night are spectacular. Lots of shops and mall, and markets.
Travelling from one tourist attractions to another is very easy and cheap. Public buses are easily available and cheap.
Quanzhou is very clean town. Friendly and you will enjoy the designed roads. I was not able to see the tourist attraction there, but I know there are few tourism spot there.
