"This is a great little hotel, ideal for a city break after the ferry journey from UK. On the harbour front, it is easily found from the ferry port then Santander can be explored on foot. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from nearby and shops, markets, museums and galleries all in walking distance. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious and bright and overlooked the harbour. Staff were friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our only negative was that the parking is in a public car park and quite expensive."

"the hotel is in a good position at the beginning of the walking & eating area of the city, near to the plaza the toros too. the rooms are big enough, clean, the bath is comfortable too, the wifi works satisfying and the included breakfast is ok, you get a coffe and a juice and a piece of pastry or a pincho. the rooms could look a bit more modern but for a 3 nights stay its ok. there is a restaurant in the hotel too (you dont need to be a guest to use it) where you can eat if you dont want to look out for other places."

"i was visiting my daughter who lives in santander and this hotel was recommended to her by friends who also live there. it is right in the heart of the town with easy access to shops and cafes etc but our room and main hotel reception areas were quiet. the hotel is exceptionally clean and i am very fussy! the bedrooms are spacious with large bathrooms too and good heating air con in the rooms. nice little touches include complimentary shower gel hand lotion toothpaste shaving set etc in the bathrooms. the breakfast buffet is also very good with a huge choice try the delicious almond cake with your morning coffee! if you are going to santander please try to learn a little spanish as we found english not widely spoken in the area and it really adds to the enjoyment of your time there i can speak a little but in my head i think i am fluent!"
