"Standard of staff was uneven, check-in staff was lovely but cleaning staff would sometimes leave rubbish from other rooms in my room after cleaning e.g. tissue box lid on the floor, opened and half finished tube of shampoo beside my sink ( I did not use the shampoo provided by the hotel as my hair reacts badly if I don’t use my usual brand so I know that tube was not from my room). Did not feel safe as the lock did not work and there was no door chain or bar. Staff sometimes opened the door after knocking once and without waiting for a response even when do not disturb light was on. A repairman tried to enter my female colleague’s room at 11pm and when she complained the hotel said it was part of normal “turndown” procedures. It is otherwise a fairly nice hotel with a supermarket across the street and eateries nearby but if you stay there make sure the safe in your room works and maybe barricade the door with furniture or luggage before going to bed."

"As Vitacura is a long way west of the airport the Taxi fares were the bigest single incidental expense of my stay \. The hotel itself was as expected of a 3-4 star hotel.Hotel Reception responded well to my queries but I had to specifically ask for information was I enjoyed an adequate buffet breakfast each morning. The pool was somewhat small but I managed to swim around gold-fish style to at least have a refreshing dip and need a towel which I got when I stopped off at the ground floor to request one (none were available in the pool area or nearby gym)."
