We were going for the Sakura blossom. You can see lots of flowers in the carpark. And there are many parks nearby. A good place to stay if you like "green" and natural environment.
The rooms were really large. The breakfast was Japanese (we're from the USA), but I really liked it (the curry was delicious). We will look for Wing International hotels when we travel in Japan now.
Excellent. Weather was horrible so staff gave me access to the room two hours earlier than check-in time of 4 pm
I felt emotional because I felt like I was in the 70s. The room was clean, and it was near Sendai station.
Nothing around the hotel, except the Shinkansen Starion
Breakfast and dinner provided was definitely highlight of our stay in this ryokan. We were upgraded to a ryokan with a private bath that was absolutely delightful. Staff had limited command of English but were still absolutely amazing. Only downside was distance of ryokan from Kagoshima, was about an hour drive to the city.
