"The room smelled like wet moldy carpet. The bed was so uncomfortable even our kids (who can sleep standing up) complained. The rooms were smoke free but they might as well be smoking rooms. Every other room had people right In Front of their rooms smoking. Couldn’t walk down to the car without going through a cloud of smoke. On a positive note, the staff was fantastic. They were truly masters of their craft. "

It appeared to have been recently renovated, new furniture & spotless‼️ The staff was very friendly & helpful! The free breakfast was phenomenal ‼️ We will always stay here for any future trips! "

The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast however was pitiful. Selection terrible, we had to go eat breakfast elsewhere. "

"Room appeared fresh and clean. Nice new TV. Mattresses appeared pretty new, also. However, the chair and ottoman looked dirty and nasty. I would not sit on it. Also, when I pulled the sheet down, there was a small blood stain. Sheets felt old and worn out. I certainly would have thrown that one away if it were my place. I slept on the other side of the bed. Things like this can hurt a fairly decent property. "

"There were several disgusting features about this hotel. Upon check in we were sent to a "smoking room" that was listed as non-smoking. After we got that sorted out we were moved to another room. The 2nd room was absolutely disgusting. There was a bullet hole in the ottoman with blood noted and a large stain from god knows what. There was also an empty beer can with tobacco spit all over it on the back porch. The shower had several yellow and orange spots to it. We saw bugs on the beds but were unsure what kind they were. We are absolutely disgusted by the room and will not recommend it to anyone. I stayed there 4 years ago when I presume it was remodeled, it is surprising how much a hotel can change in 4 years! Highly advise to stay away!!!"

"I was at a convention at the Sevierville Convention Center and stayed at the Clarion for 8 days. The people at the front desk were engaging and helpful. The breakfast cooks did a very good job in preparation and having sufficient amounts of food. Overall, the ones in room prep did very well most of the time. I came back one day during mid-day and the tool had not been cleaned. After returning several hours later the room had been somewhat cleaned. The bed was not made to their normal standards and some other things were just not normal. Otherwise, 7 of the 8 days were fine. The building itself seemed to be well cared for as well as the grounds. Happy overall with my stay and will most likely return!"
