Nan xiangzi •the Moon House
"Stayed at the Moon House for 4 nights in November. Its a beautiful hotel located in a transformed old building - the rooms are spacious and comfortable; nice décor; friendly and helpful staff; excellent meals. Xiaoqi is quite a small village but, along with upper Xiaoqi , is nice to walk around and the surrounding scenery is very pretty. The village was busy at the weekend but otherwise quiet. The manager and her staff are lovely and although their English is limited they were always friendly and helpful. They organised a car and driver for us at a very reasonable price (300 yuan for the day) to take us around to other locations. I would highly recommend the Moon House as a base for visiting Xiaoqi and the other villages and sights in the area."Show more

"The best thing about this hotel is the awesome host/owner. She always go out of her way to help the guest. Although location of the hotel is 15 away from Jinsha cable car, the owner graciously drive us there and she also gave us tips on how to get back. She also arranged for the cab drive to Shangrao together with other guests (so we sav money). Breakfast was good too - egg, porridge and best of all the flat bread."Show more
