This was my second stay at Europe Hotel in Strasbourg. It is perfectly located in the Old Town, close to the cosy La Petite France, the impressive cathedral, other historic places, as well as to both small, personal shops and the biggest stores. The hotel comprises an old building and a newer one. Last time, I got a room in the old part, which was very small but nice. Now I ended up in the new part with a much bigger and very modern room. The staff is quite friendly and service-minded and a large buffet breakfast is at your disposal in the morning. I will most likely select Europe Hotel for my next stay in Strasbourg as well!

I like how studio is just that much more convenient than a regular hotel room. The room is clean and updated. The front desk directed us to the nearby parking lot and we were able to wheel our luggages directly to the hotel from the same elevator. I'd stay at Odalys Green Marsch again if I come to Strasbourg.

I was impressed with service staff at the first place I popped in, he’s very friendly and helpful with information, the room we got was double room on the first floor, bed and pillows are wonderful to sleep, there’re also extra pillows provided inside the room, toilet and showers are the same room, toilet basin is in the bedroom just at the corner by the end of the bed...

We (a friend and I) stayed for one night and were immediately impressed by the location, right in the heart of the action. Our room was impressive, with a great view of the surrounding area. The staff were helpful enough though don't man reception 24/7 but they run another nearby hotel and are more than happy to run over to help. It was one night, it was great value for money and a walk away from anywhere you'd like to go in Strasbourg, I'd definitely recommend it and would come back again.

A lot of places to eat around and super market is just in front of hotel. Breakfast is good and there is free coffee, tea, Evian water and some fruits at lounge you can take anytime. There is one bottle of Evian water and small snack provided and refilled everyday in the room. Room and bathroom is clean, had enough towels and enough space for even 2 persons. You can even choose pillows. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. No problem to communicate in English. I recommend this hotel to everybody regardless the purpose to visit Strasbourg holiday or business.

There is an underground parking garage that costs EUR 11 a day, and there is an elevator that will take you from the garage to the hotel lobby. People at the reception are very friendly and, apparently, multi-lingual. The breakfast is not included in the room rate, and there are 2 types of breakfast there that cost around EUR 8 and EUR 15.50 (I don’t remember the exact price). In my opinion it is a little expensive for breakfast, and you should be able to find better options outside the hotel. The room we stayed at was large with a double and a sofa bed so it easily accommodated three people. There was a large flat-screen TV, a mini-bar and a safe in a room, and Wi-Fi signal was pretty strong. I believe it is a very good choice to stay in this hotel while visiting Strasbourg because of the room accommodations, the price of the rooms, and the hotel location itself.

Coming from Switzerland I wasn’t looking to stay in a Swiss style hotel but the price and location sold me on the idea! Staff were friendly, spoke perfect English and able to store our bags after check out so we could continue our Strasbourg adventure. Breakfast was superb! Delicious cheese, breads, croissants (of course) and fresh coffee with plenty of fresh fruits available. Merci for the fantastic weekend get away!

Cons: Room was cold no matter how hot I tried to make it with the thermostat. Bath and sink drains were seemingly blocked, the water took 1hr in the sink especially to completely go down with the water control stopper thing taken all the way out. The bed was HARD! I woke up with a crazy stiff back in the middle of the night cos of the draft in the room and the bad bed. Not enough spare pillows or an extra duvet to compensate for the cold.

It was comfortable enough, especially after a long day spent with travelling and sightseeing. The staff was so friendly and helping. The location is also good The city centre with shopping possibilities and tourist objects is reachable by tram only in three stations. We could even directly by our tram ticket at the hotel. Everything was very good to excellent in terms of staff service, facilities, hotel bed, location etc. It is located right in front of Strasbourg Main Train Station and 15-20 mins walks to the attractions in the city with eateries nearby. Friendly and warmth staff with attentive service. Comfortable king size bed and relatively spacious room as compared to Ibis Hotel. Nothing to complain and we are very happy to have chosen and stayed in this hotel even just for a day. Highly recommended in terms of good value for money!

For the money you are paying it has a fantastic location, its clean and the staff are nice enough. If you are visiting Strasbourg as a tourist you wont be spending much time in the hotel so this place is perfect. The only niggle is one of the rooms we stayed in here didn't have curtains!

PROBLEMS: (1) You can only call the reception with the telephone in the room, no outside calls. (2) The housekeepers never cleaned my sink and they left their cleaning rags in my room. (3) Breakfast is too expensive and is not included in the $100 that I paid PER NIGHT. (4) There is no elbow room in the shower or in the vanity/mirror/sink cubicle. (5) The holder of the...

(3) Breakfast is too expensive and is not included in the $100 that I paid PER NIGHT. (4) There is no elbow room in the shower or in the vanity/mirror/sink cubicle. (5) The holder of the roll of toilet paper was pointing downward and so the roll kept falling onto the floor. (6) There is no air conditioning, which is brutal in the heat and humidity of late Spring/Summer in Strasbourg. The portable Dyson fan that I borrowed from reception just moved the heat around. ADONIS DESERVES TWO STARS, NOT THREE STARS.

In short will surely recommend the place to friends.

You can check yourself in. The lobby has people in there (the lobby includes a restaurant/cafe). The check in process was very easy. It's a hotel but it's not classy, it's the opposite of that. More like funky modern. It was a fun experience and I did enjoy it. Breakfast was very good. Less than a 5 minute walk to the center. Would recommend!

We stayed 5 nights at the regent contades, rooms were spotless clean, good location, 2 mins walk to tram station and 10 mins walking distance to the beautiful cathedral shops and restaurants. 5 star cleanliness and the staff are very friendly, Fanny at the front desk is very welcoming, check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend this charming hotel.

Nice and clean and comfortable hotel only walking distance from Gare Strasbourg (Strasbourg train station) and a walking distance from old town and EURO quarter. It provides a fast free WIFI for guests also. The only negative thing is location right next to bigger street and some people can be disturbed by noise. For me – I did not notice it.

i selected this hotel because of its location and my experience elsewhere that comfort inn has fast internet. this was certainly the case. by any standards the rooms are small but that doesn't matter when you are asleep. reception staff i met were vey multilingual as you would aslo expect in this part of france.

Although the room is pretty small, it is comfortable and well-arranged. The location is typically good, close to the grand cathedrale and petit France. However the wifi is quite slow. After all, we enjoyed the night after a tight visiting schedule in Strasbourg!

Generally I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The location is perfect as it is just 3 mins walk from the tram station and a block behind the Notre Dame de Strasbourg. I love the location of this hotel. The room is clean and not too small. However the hotel has no lift and there is no water kettle for you to boil water and no fridge and safe as well.

Overall, it's a great choice to stay! The price was reasonable and the staffs are all very friendly and helpful. There's also a small kitchen inside the room, which was very convenient. Everything was tidy and clean just like a hotel. I will choose this place for staying at Strasbourg next time!

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Largrange apartments, just a short walk to all attractions and restaurants. We did use the indoor pool. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was great with a small kitchen and a bath. Wifi was good connection. Bought a tram ticket from the tourist information for the day €6 for 3 people, would recommend a stay in this hotel.

We ended up buying a fan to be able to sleep. - The room had not been cleaned properly. Bed sheets were all new, but walking around bare foot for ten minutes made our feet dirty, and we found an old t-shirt in a closet. Alltogether a charming flat in the very center of Strasbourg, but with no proper air conditioning or cleaning, we would not come back.

I enjoyed staying in this place. You can cook yourself. And the location is just perfect. 3 min from the center "Place Kleber", 5 min from "La Petite France." But if you want your room to be cleaned everyday, you need to pay extra. I would recommend this place to any other traveler in Strasbourg.

Good location within walking distance to all the shopping and cafes. Checkin was easy and breakfast in the morning had many options. We had a baby cot setup as requested, also a few euros discount card to use for the underground parking in the center.

We booked the room through Agoda, we had a beautiful suite. The room was perfect. We were however disappointed by the service given the 4 stars of the hotel. First the reception lady wasn't very kind and seemed bothered by our questions. First the reception lady wasn't very kind and seemed bothered by our questions. She also made us wait 15min before answering the interphone (the reception was outside the building, in a restaurant nearby), and an other 15 minutes to bring us the keys. There was no water in the room, no room service. So for every simple demand we had to go outside in the restaurant where the reception was. Lastly, when we came back to pickup our luggage at the reception, my wife needed to use the bathroom but was refused because they were closing the reception. I don't think this hotel deserve 4 stars. Concerning the service provided, it is more likely to be a two stars

The hotel is not new but well maintained. The location is in the city center with main attractions are within walking distance. However, when firstly arriving from the rail station, it is a bit difficult to find the hotel as it is located one block behind the main street. Lights in hallways are movement activated so don't panic when you walk into a dark hallway! Very good staff - friendly, helpful and informative.

Traveler impressions of Strasbourg
Strasbourg is a fine destination. They are more green/eco conscious than many of the places we visited.
You have to buy your maps but the complimentary one from the hotel is enough to get around. The water tour is fantastic. The old town is simply amazing. It is beautiful. You never tired of the buildings and surrounds. If you have to do the church tour, be ready for lots of steps. The spiral stair is narrow and there are plenty of steps. A bit like the Arc de Treomphe in Paris. I just wished that I could have seen the Black Forest from Strasbourg, but not this time.
Strasbourg is a typical mid-size French city: it is beautiful with magnificent buildings, excellent tourist infrastructure, great places to eat, a tremendous cathedral, etc.
Lovely stay!
Strasbourg is a lovely cultural city with lots of attractions. We enjoyed the light shows and barge ride.
The tourist information in the station was very helpful and you can buy a tram ticket for 24hours for 3 people for only €6. Cathedral is a must see.
Beautiful place, nice food, nice shopping area. Historical place to visit. One complain, the bus driver cannot speak English.
If you go there by car, be sure to go ahead of time.. The traffic Will kill you. Take the canal Tour, it's a greath Way to see the City
From our hotel, we are within about 10 mins walking distance to the notre dame cathedral and petite france.
The hotel is situated somewhere in tbetween this 2 major attrations. Notre dame cathedral was spectacular from the outside....but inside was abit dull. Petite france was excellent and you should try and have your dinner there and pick a seat with the view of the river....absolutely peaceful
I loved this city. I didn't know anything about it before getting there. Unfortunately I only had 2 days, one night in this city.
I was totally impressed with this city and was in awe over the Cathedral. While I was there, beginning of Nov, they were decorating the city for the holidays. I just wish I could have seen the city in lights. I 'm sure it's absolutely beautiful. I was traveling alone and was walking around after dark and felt very safe. I would recommend this city to anyone. Next time I will spend at least 3-4days here.
I love Starasbourg more than Paris. Parisians are snooty and just "un-nice". People in Strasbourg are very nice and helpful.
The city is lovely, very walkable, very liveable. I can live here forever.
