The hotel is not exactly consider as cheap, but the location is best. it's just around the first junction from station exit. Best base for being in Takasaki then travel to other nearby city or tourist spot. The room space is bigger than most of the Japanese hotel. The Hot Spring on the top floor really made this hotel better than the others. The hot spring is actually really good quality compared to many others in Japan. Room design is different than most business hotels, and is also quite spacious. Having the free beer and ramen is also a nice bonus too. Not so far from Takasaki station, under a 10 minute walk. Not an issue. ...

I would like to express my sincere "thank you" to one of the male staff on glasses (forgot to ask his name), who had gone the extra mile in helping me to find a post office and send an urgent mail during Saturday, as most of the post offices are closed during weekends. Mr Tendou (Priest) and the lady host are very kind and hospitality throughout our stay in temple. The place is clean and well maintained. Mr. Tendou also took his time to explain the history of the temple to us which I think is very interesting for us to understand Japan culture.
