Pension Sea Friend
"There's nothing fancy about any of the spots I found on the island, but this one is clean and the staff is very friendly. Their restaurant is good and that staff is great as well - which is not an experience we found elsewhere on the island, where a number of folks wouldn't even serve us - they kept telling us they were closed (despite their posted closing times being 5 hours away). I'd stay here again if I found myself back in Tokashiki :)"Show more

Joyful Chingushi
"It takes us 5 mins to get there by walk after the boat arrives and we get the guidance of the Tokashiki port staff. The host is so warm-hearted that he gives us a free ride to Tokashiku Beach the next morning. The room is neat but the facility is really aged."Show more

Tokashiku Marine Villege
"It is an really amazing location, just in front of the Tokashiku beach(local beach). The hotel is a bit old school style, but the staffs are extremely nice and helpful. Suggest to book the hotel room with dinner and breakfast, because most of the restaurants are around Aharen beach, but not Tokashiku beach.
Apart from this reason, the meal they provide is very tasty and full! Before we arrive, we think it might be a bit expensive for staying one night there, but actually is totally worth it!"Show more

Kerama Backpackers
"Morino-san was an awesome host at Kerama backpackers - he picked me up from the port and took me to the hostel, which was a 7-10 minute drive from Aharen beach, and about a 5-7 minute walk from the Tokashiki port. He also drove me and the other guests to the beach in the mornings and back to the hostel in the afternoons. The hostel itself is really clean with all amenities that you'd need, and the nice perk of being able to use the washing machine as well. I went during the off season so the place was quite empty, which was nice but heard it gets really packed during the busy season, so would be a bit of a different experience, but I had a lovely time and would recommend it - great value for money!"Show more

Tokashiki Guest House
"Mr Yamamoto, who manages the place and drives guests to different locations, is very friendly. But, the cabin is in a forest and not very accessible. We had to rely on the staff's vehicle to go to any place. Towels were not provided. We had to ask for a hair dryer. Beds were very worn out and didn't feel clean. The bathroom is quite small, even based on Asian's standards. It does have a kitchen and simple cooking equipment, although we didn't use it. There were lots of mosquitoes. With repellent sprayed on , we still got lots of mosquito bites while waiting for the driver to pick us up. I think for families with kids this is not a convenient place."Show more

Kerama Terrace
"Our stay at the Terrace was fantastic! The dining was exquisite. Our snorkeling guide found two sea turtles and even pointed out a stingray for us to film. The beds were comfortable. Being picked up and dropped off at the dock was a plus as well. Thank you Kerama Terrace for making our fist trip to Tokashiki so awesome!"Show more
