Simply put, this is a fantastic hotel. We had a small suit with an inbuilt Turkish hamam. It’s very nicely decorated whilst maintaining a feel for a cave house. The hotel staff are excellent and the restaurant is great value and great food ( try the clay pot kabab) the whole hotel is basically a old traditional hillside village that they have bought and made modern whilst maintaining a traditional feel. The only problem is you can’t see the balloons taking flight in the morning, but we knew this before booking the hotel so booked a hotel in another town for this purpose on our second night.

Elika caves came as a surprise! Situated in Ürgüp! This resort was absolutely stunning. Made in a cave style , the rooms were a delight to stay in. They had small details that added all the fun. Some rooms had a fireplace while the others had a bath tub! Each room had a coffee machine. The floors were heated. Something that I got to know of for the first time. The property had a nice restaurant and bar. The breakfast served was a set menu unlike buffets in other resorts. The staff was very helpful, they suggested a Turkish night for dinner though it was more expensive than if you were to book yourself. Overall a great experience. Should visit when in Cappadocia.

would drfinitly recommend, accomodating staff balloon ride and undeground city are a must do, also, the open air musium, was great. the area is so rich in history and old culture, and even though a tourist stop, the friendliness of the people and the local flavor is still apparent and sweet. Also, as usual, in turkey the rug sales and "deals" are all over the place, remember and deal can be matched or bettered by someone else....as with many tourist spots, you can be viewed as a walking wallet.. be aware and wise.....but the stay is a must at last once in a lifetime!!

It’s not that convenient if you wanna go anywhere, and there are not much to see around. But this made this place a wonderful gateaway from the crowd, super quiet and comfortable. Staff are super friendly and helpful, the room is very clean and well renovated, I had two very nice sleep in there. If you wanna a place not on popular travel guide and enjoy some peaceful moments, this is the place.

The breakfast was horrible. You were charged extra 10 lira per egg ordered. They had no hot item on the breakfast, you had to order eggs with a lady that could not understand you. She provided 3 eggs for 3 pax, I told her we needed more than that, she said we had to pay additional 30 lira. I mean its not the money, which was very small compared to what we paid for the room. Just the economy standards of their management for breakfast, doesnt make sense. Room was good though.

It was a nice hotel, but not 5*. The food was acceptable, but there were too many tour groups at certain times. The breakfasts were much better than the dinners. The wine at the restaurant was reasonable and good quality. The receptionists were helpful, but it was difficult to communicate with them at times. They did, however, appear to speak French and German rather well.

I stayed here purely for trail running race so didn’t have any special plan other than race. Hotel staff kindly offered me available activities and arranged car and guide. Restaurant offered very nice BBQ dishes but I highly recommend to try clay pot style which is their signature dish. You would love it. Meat became so tender and juicy. Room is very typical cave hotel and well maintained. Only the issue I had with this facility was wifi access. Due to cave solid structure wifi access is distracted so had a hard time to get wifi.

The owner was there to greet us, with a glass of wine. Loved the fact we were Canadian. We were well treated and also had the use of the hotel next door(same owner), which had a lovely courtyard and 'to die for meals'. The design of the hotel resembled that of ancient Capadocia ruins. The main town area of Urgup was a 5 minute walk down the road. The hotel also had free on site parking for our rental car.

the hotel is absolutely stunning, the only problem is with the wifi connection that's not getting through to the hotel room, i think it's because the room is inside the cave. but all in all the experience was a unique one and i'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit urgup. the hotel is within walking distance to the urgup city center. the owners are helpful and informative.

I am very Happy and enjoyed stay in Urgup Inn Cave Hotel. The Location is just 300 M to downtown urgup city, it was make me very easy to get Diner and small souvenir. Bed and bath Room were very nice and clean, I felt warm inside room although the temperature very cold outside. The hotel hospitality was excellent especially for Omer, Hotel Manager. He help and service me with his Heart and absolutely perfect and make me very satisfied. He arranged all my activity for full 2 days in cappadocia, starting free pick up service from Nevsehir airport and connect me for 2 days tour, balloon activity in the morning (Amazing) and return me back with shuttle to nevsehir airport for depart me back to Istanbul. The challenge for the hotel just provide in room Wifi network to make guest more comfort to access and up load information.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during a recent visit to Cappadocia. We stayed in a deluxe room which had a separate living area - very spacious. Only a 10 min. walk into central Urgup, the hotel is very conveniently located. We ate dinner our first night at the hotel and it was both excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This was one of our favorite hotels from our entire trip to Turkey. If I'm ever fortunate enough to visit this area again, the Alfina would be my first choice. Highly recommended.

Hotel Cave Konak was a wonderful stay for the part of our trip in Cappadocia. The staff was attentive and helped us get excellent tours/advice. It is right next to a mosque, so be aware that the call to prayer may be a little loud, but that's the same for several of the hotels in the area. It's right next to Urgup center with excellent restaurants and shops. This is an excellent hotel, and we felt right at home.

I was in touch with Mehmet before my visit to Turkey started, however had no inclination of his hospitality and warmth that we would receive during our visit. The cave hotel is one of the (if not the) best that we saw all along the way, from the way it was run, and the way the staff took care of their guests. Almost every night we spent with Mehmet (and the cuddly 1 year old husky from the neighbouring house) over a few glasses of wine, beautiful weather and discussions over the history of Cappadocia, the life of their people and their livelihood. Mehmet also out us together with the best guides (the lovely gentleman Ramzi) from the region to take us along the Underground City, and the other cultural and historical places in Cappadocia. Although we skipped the balloon ride, but that gives us another opportunity to revisit Urgup and stay at the Kemerhans. This is definitely worth the penny you spend here and much more. With this experience I now feel a special bonding with Urgup and good wishes to Mehmet and his lovely staff.

This hotel feel like we live in our own house. All staff welcome to help with all their pleasure. I can get an upgrade room in the queen picture with the sword man. Jagussi is really hot and worm the body. Smell of the room so good with hot heater to adjust. You can stay longer if you want to by the time you waiting for flight. My boyfriend and Me want to stay here longer and will come back to this hotel again and again. He can book for us in the cheap price of green tour and balloon tour. Even if you try to do it by your own but believe me ! Book with him it’s trustworthy and safer to get the whole money back when the rain coming or to argue to fly balloon in the next day. Cappadocia is the most famouse place in the world with this kind of service you will get the five stars hotel with large room and valueable facilities.

It’s a small 4 rooms house. The location is in Urgup center with lots of eateries and shopping just few meters away. A nearby Masjid and also Turkish Hamam few steps but is away from main Göreme. A lady is there every morning to serve you a filling breakfast and cleaning your room. The owner Mr Nazim very soft spoken and helpful He arranged our tours. Overall I will strongly recommend this property for all who doesn’t want to spend much on hotels and at the same time have nice comfortable stay.

Welcoming hosts and a charming room in the rocks fully equipped with everything a guest needs. Impeccably clean. Including heated flooring in the bathroom. Excellent service. Always within minutes. Owner's service standards reflected in staff. Special menu whipped up as I decided I needed vegetarian on night I arrived and they made me a good dinner. Had fish the next day and it was also wonderfully cooked. Ozgur, the very friendly, personable, no-nonsense and proactive owner was available for every need. I needed him to break into my bag as my combination lock seized up. He brilliantly cut the zipper tags so the lock will not be damaged. I had a fall at a restaurant in another town and needed an Xray and he told the driver exactly where to take me. Very efficient hospital. All done within 15 minutes. Hotel got me an excellent taxi driver Sahdiah (?) who drove me around and took care of me when I fell. This boutique hotel served wonderful , generous breakfasts, everything fresh from the garden , local or homemade. I would most certainly stay here again on my next trip to Cappadocia.
