Best thing about it was the location to the train/bus station(2 mins walk). Takes you to the St Lucia which is the main station for Venice. From there you can walk to the main attractions inside Venice. Hotel is so facilitated.bar open 24hours. You can just chill down at the lobby not just bound in your room. There’s a pizzeria near by and it’s worth every penny. Lovely staff. Had a very amazing time !!

I booked Andavenice a month out from my first solo trip to Venice Italy. I had booked another hostel when I noticed Andavenice had recently opened. It was half the price if my original choice do I decided to give it a go. Boy did I make the right choice! I stayed for a full week in the women's six bed dorm. It was spacious, clean, modern, and air conditioned. The amenities are outstanding and include various outdoor and indoorareas with seating designed for maximum interaction with fellow guests or nooks of privacy if you wish. Housekeeping tended to the dorm daily like clockwork. Bedding was clean and soft. The bunks were spacious and comfortable. I slept like a dream! This hostel is high concept and high design all the way through. The ensuite shower is huge and features a rainfall shower as well as a hand held shower with excellent water pressure and temperature. There are two huge sinks with plenty of outlets, and a huge ring light mirror. The bathroom is separate from the shower and sink. Underbed storage is huge and ventilated. Save fees and bring your own lock and towel. I could go on and on about this place. It's so good you almost don't want to share it! A+++ I will definitely be staying with Andavenice again!

My wife, step son , and myself were quite enjoy the stay in CVJ. The internet is great in the camping room and the room for 3 people is quite compact. When we just arriving and got into the room I got the most of the blame because my wife complained to me that she was hoping the room is bigger but when the time we booked the this camping site most of the larger room was out already and then we end up without much choice instead of staying a room with two folded bed and one split bed in the other direction. The shower room is quite small only allow yourself standing there without too much room you can turn around. This camping site does offer the shuttle bus to go to Venice with couple Euro cost and serving the schedule from morning 7 or 8 o'clock all the way down to midnight. When you book the bus, please make sure that you won't book the bus return schedule too early. The restaurant does offer the continental style of the breakfast and in the early morning there will be too many people at the front of you lined up and that may cause you delay in catching the shuttle bus to Venice. You might consider to have the breakfast in downtown Venice for time saving. In the night at the surrounding of the swimming pool, the restaurant does offer all kinds of the food with decent price. All of three enjoy the meal very much and it all comes with the big plates and with plenty food The price that you can not find anywhere in Venice could be compete to this camping site. The workmanship of this camping site is very hospitality in taking us to the camping house because we were having the hard time in locating the spot of camping site with the Garmin loaded software to my GPS somehow it's not working at all when driving in the late night in the Rome city and highway. We are around over than 12 o'clock arriving the area of the camping site and fortunately we happened to ask a local resident young fellow he just guided us to the camp site.

Good location, just 3 minutes to the Mestre railway station on foot. Good service, the reception always smiles and give us good suggestions about transportation to the Venice. equipped kitchen, very clean, very recommended.

Amazing location just a short hop across to all the Venice action. Incredibly clean and very well designed hostel. I was a solo traveler in Europe and had the most fun at this hostel due to the people met and the many cheap euro wines consumed. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a budget friendly clean place to stay in Venice. Please note this hostel does not have a kitchen for you to cook your own meals however meals available for purchase are fairly cheap

The location is about 10-15mins walk away from Venice Mestre Train Station (going thru an underpass nearby). The place is ideal if you want good and affordable accommodations just outside of the Venice Santa Lucia tourist trap. The toilet and shower rooms are kept generally clean and with ample hot water. The beds are pretty comfortable with clean sheets, although there isn't a personal locker if you want to store valuables (not a big issue for me). The hostel has a open air terrace on the 2nd floor for travellers to both chill and chat (also to have a smoke), which is what I love most about the establishment. There's a Lidl's supermarket about 5-7mins walk along the main road somewhat next to the hostel too if you need to buy some food or drinks. Some small cafes and bars are also within walking distance if you want to grab a little snack and drink with fellow travellers or friends. The general area is pretty quiet for what I'm assuming is the suburbs, and I do recommend this hostel for all who are considering affordable accommodations without sacrificing facilities in return. The staff performance is exceptional, and they provided me with a map and some local tips for sightseeing as well. WiFi signal is pretty fast and strong, and there was a multi-power-plug sufficient for those staying in my dorm to charge their devices. Cheers to the reception lady who was very friendly and helpful during my staff. I'll definitely stay there again if I ever head to Venice in the future.

The reception received at Hotel Atlantide started our two days in Venice on the right foot. She provided us with a great room and was very pleasant. Room met our needs and enabled us to get most out of our two days in Venice through staying at two different locations after booking mishaps..

We're staying within the triple room that was announced to have bathroom inside. What was a surprise, when we came and an administrator has give us the room #101 with the external bathroom saying that all other 2 rooms were occupied! They claimed to have in-room safe - don't believe they don't and administrator told us that he's no responsibility for the facility list. A real shame for more than a hundred euro. For the price fifty euro or less - it's a standard 2 star hotel with external bath.

Then while I was away, took all my belongings in the room into a pile in the hallway to make place for the new guests after 1 night. Tried to put me in a dorm as an alternative. Hang up on me on the phone because I was upset at the situation and talked a bit loud. I didn't swear or insulted him. Finally put me in a less nicer room in another place but at this point, I just wanted to finish my vacation peacefully. I can handle an overbooking, but not the way it was done.

I've heard most hotels in Venice were not good especially in terms of cleaness. But hotel rio was very clean^_^ and staffs were kind. Some people said it was uncomfortable because there was no lift but the staff carried all my huge luggages so it didn't matter:-)(my luggages were almost 40kg:o) the location was also very good.

We didn’t regret a single bit on booking this hotel, mainly because of it’s location. It is just a few meters from the train station and we don’t need to take the boat or walk around Venice with our luggage. There are no buses or trains in Venice, and the only available options are the ferries/boats. We saw a lot of people struggling with their luggages on ferries or carrying their suitcases up and down the bridges in Venice. Since we arrived by train, we didn’t went through the hassle of carrying around our suitcases. Though it is a bit far from San Marco, Venice is best explored by foot, and we actually got the chance to marvel at the less touristy places in Venice when walking to and from the hotel. In terms of the hotel, the staffs are really friendly and the room is clean. There is also a free breakfast in the morning, so I can really say it is a good value for money. My only concern is there are no toiletries provided (e.g. shampoos). I always bring along my toiletries so it’s not much of a big deal for me. But for those who will be booking this in the future, keep this in mind. Overall I am satisfied with my stay here and will definitely book again.

Staying outside of Venice was the best idea we had. Bus #2 was at the doorstep of Hotel Garibaldi and took us easily back & forth to Venice. Our 48 hour bus pass bought at the hotel desk covered all trips with Bus #2 and all the water bus (Vapotettos) trips we made on the Grand Canal and out to the outer islands (paid $30 E which paid for itself afte 1 day). We came back to Hotel Garibaldi in the evenings, walking the main square of V. Mestre for relaxing dinner after a very crowded day in Venice. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful (free Venice map). Rooms are simple but quiet and clean. Appreciated the good breakfast buffet to start our busy days.

A clean room in an Air Bnb style house cheapish and about 20 minutes from P.Roma (Bus and train station) We got to do our laundry for free :) Cons: I was expecting a B&B but it wasn't... The heating didn't work so it was cold...We found it hard to sleep on the first day but slept well on the second... no hot water on day 1 but got fixed on day 2... Since it was a room in a 4 bedroom house and the family stayed there you could hear everything that went on in the house and I'm sure they could hear everything that went on I the room as well...So, not the kind of privacy we expected either.. The place felt safe. The hostess was kind and tried to help us as much as she could. We would stay here again.. Venice was awesome! :)

Actually, the hotel has many advantages 1) Well located. It's kind of farm from Venice center, but the transportation to Venice central is so easy with bus. Whereas, the bus station is in front of the hotel. Moreover, you will not pay more than the normal daily ticket to travel from the hotel to the Marco Polo Airport and to return back, because there's this public bus(45) where you can use to drop you in front of the hotel. 2) Hotel staff are extremely friendly and cooperative. Gave me a map when I asked them and told me the best places to visit and how to get to them. 3) Good breakfast food was served. The hotel has some minor disadvantages, but actually not that serious 1) The room wasn't that big. 2) You cann't checkin before 2 pm!

we staying here 3 nights and its a great base for venice, 5-10 mins walk up athe main street, to the vaperetto, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink on the lido main street, hotel breakfast was typical continental, and it was nice to eat in the gardens, wifi worked fine and was free, room was clean and tidy, air con was nice, and there was even a mini fridge in the room. would stay here again if coming to venice

It did take me a while to find my way back to the hotel and I never managed to take the same route to or from the Rialto! Which was good as I saw lots of Venice. Just a word of warning, the hotel is a "proper" ancient Venice villa, so there are lots of steps inside (no lift). Rooms good and well air conditioned (very welcome), staff great and breakfast civilised. What more could anyone want in the most beautiful city in the world?

The issue we have with the property is that we searched for and had confirmed an apartment, which means flat in other words, which must be fully self-contained. What we actually got was a bedroom sleeping three people, with a bathroom. Just a hotel room in other words. The kitchen was shared with the other B&B guests. The kitchen came with no knives and forks or spoons, only chpsticks, no plates or cups (we bought some at the supermarket), no microwave, and the washing machine was not working; to wash clothes we had to go downstairs to a level which was always locked and pay 3 euros each load. Why bother? Intead we went to the laundromat over the road. But that shouldn't be should it, as that shared washing machine should be working! The standard of accommodation could best be described as a joke. The room was dirty, there was no television or radio, the bed uncomfortable, no handtowels or face cloths provided. We cannot recommend the property.

This hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Venice Mestre Train Station (from which you can get to Venice proper in less than 10 minutes) The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and provide a most adequate Italian breakfast. If you want to visit Venice but don't want the hassle of dragging luggage over bridges and down small lanes with thousands of people this is a tremendous alternative. The area of Mestre has a host of affordable great restaurants (I give a plug here to Restaurant de Jessica only 100 metres away and has the best pizzas in Italy) and is much more affordable. In addition it is a quiet hotel where you can find peace and rest. The wifi is good and the rooms are more than comfortable. We stayed here for three nights and would return next time in Venice. It is also located near the Cruise Terminals.

As is name the hotel is very central. very convenient to go to venice and easy to go there by bus.Bus nesr the door of the hotel and it take only 15 minutes to reach Roma square in venice.In venice hotels are much more expensive.Only a bad surprise, the hotel ask-you a city tax of 1,8 euros per day.(maximum 5 days).

It’s a good location and a quiet area. Everything is within walking distance. Be prepared to pay city tax which is not included in Agoda, we paid €4 each person per day. I don’t know why it’s not included. Our room didn’t include a TV which is ok, since we’re out everyday. Bathroom towels in Italy are hard on one’s skin and they don’t give extra for the floor or to wash hands or face. I didn’t see fabric softener in their markets which maybe why. We stayed in Rome and Florence AirBnB, also are same, the towels they provided are hard on our skin. My husband was joking that their towels can work also as loofah. Nonetheless, I would still recommend this place. Towels and TV are just extra that you can live without.

i booked the room for my relatives. the location is conveniently located near san marco square, lots of affordable restaurants around and souvenir shops. the hotel is old and small but well maintained. priced reasonably. will use it again in our next trip to venice

I was on a bike trip to Venice and decided to stay in Mestre. This was a pleasant small B&B, very tidy, I slept really well. The room had air-conditioning, the bed is good. The one compromise is that the bathroom is shared, however, there are two spacious facilities, so no need to wait, at least I did not have to. The breakfast is somewhat simple (croissant, jam, yoghurt), includes good coffee. The Chinese lady, who is the owner, goes out of her way to make the stay a pleasant one. Overall, it was a good value for money, I had a pleasant stay.

It was good. Relativly cheap because its conviniently located outside venice that keeps the price down. There was a bus route outside hotel which in 5 stops took us to the venice boatstation(main island)about 15 min. Clean and neatly looking rooms.

Would definitaly stay here again, and would recommend it to enyone who wants to stay at Murano. I might even stay here if I go back to Venice as it was only a 20 min boatride or so from Venice city centre. There are public"ferryboats", Alilaguna, going around the clock to Venice city centre...we left from here to the Canareggio region and after 22.00 you could not get a connection boat meaning that you would have to take a walk from the main ferry station...but it is worth it...you get a lot more for the money here at Murano, and you get away from the hectic city centre. And you get to se all tre great glass at the glass island Murano. It is worth getting a one, three, five? day travel card with the Alilaguna when you are in Venice if you want to visit the wonderful island around and also just to get around on the main "island" of Venice.

Hotel Cristallo is located on the lido part of Venice, in a great location with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around it. The staff were super friendly and the room was basic and clean. Breakfast was simple yet tasty, the croissants are delicious! The only 'flaw' I would say is that the room was very basic and could really do with a full length mirror and/or a mirror on the dressing table, but that's it. The bed was comfy, it had a fan on the ceiling and air-con and plenty of wardrobe/drawer space and a safe. If I were to go back to Venice I would definitely stay here again!

i cant say it is 4 star, but a decent 3 star... service was good, breakfast good, location good if you like lido island, but the interior of the room is bit.... old, seemed like the furniture had been there for the past 20 odd years or so, but it seemed to be usual in italy.. i would definitely stay there again if i go to venice

We absolutely loved the location of Albergo Casa Peron. Although it is not your typical hotel, it does come with complimentary toiletries, a hair dyer and daily room cleaning. We loved that we were a 7 minute walk from the bus terminal and about 10 mins from the train station, without having to cross too many bridges. The staff was super friendly and recommended the restaurant next door, which was one of the few places we found in Venice that accepted credit card and had good food. We not only loved the convenience of the location for public transportation, but we were glad to be away from the crowds. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to San Marco square via Rialto bridge, which was also a perfect opportunity to get lost in Venice's streets. The hotel is also a 2 minute walk from the recent Banksy piece. Google Maps Fontego Delle Dolcezze (gelateria), once you've crossed the second bridge, turn around to face the canal and look at the building to the left.

The location is very good which is in the centre of venice. Just 15 minutes away from Marco Polo and bus station.

Highly recommend this hotel. It is located in Mestre and is a 15 minutes ride by bus from the Venice island. The best thing is that there is a bus stop located right outside the hotel from where you can catch a bus straight to Venice, and also a supermarket literally next door. We bought a day pass for public transportation and it was great value as we came back from and went to the Venice island three times. The room itself was also great, clean and spacious with a luxurious feel about it. The breakfast was decent. All in all, great value for a very comfortable stay very close to mainland Venice.
