Nice city just outside Tokyo. Would recommend 2 nights here. We stayed 4 nights but felt it was too many nights.
this area is more alike the residential area. And many shops close after 8pm. So if you are looking for night life or shopping hour late till 10pm, then Yokohama is not the place for you.
modern city, but unlike Tokyo, it has preserved a bit of the past, for example, the tiny one-man run night stalls are primitive and oldish.
Quite and least crowded city as compared to Tokyo. Public transport system and structure are well planned and developed.
Visit kamakura for temples, try the crepe along the way back to Kamakura station. To explore shops and malls near Yokohama Station alone, you'll need a day.
Yokohama is amazing. :) It's not as busy as Tokyo, but the architecture there is just a whole different world.
Peacful and quiet. Nice environment and good for business stay. Shopping available along major stations
Yokohama's quite near Tokyo abt 30 mins by train. One of interesting choices if you want to travel outside Tokyo.
When in Yokohama, make sure you go to Sparta Restaurant. They serve delectable, authentic Greek dishes.
yokohama is a good place to visit in japan. it is one of the citys that you can visit most resturants and bars.
Yokohama has histrical culture by overseas and exotic atmosphere. So good mood to spend night life with partner.
Unlike in Tokyo, people in Yokohama are a lot friendlier in comparison. A random guy could just offer their assistant to snap your photo.
Yokohama has a variety of things to do for everybody. It is a specifically nice city at night by the sea.
We were really impressed with all that Yokohama has to offer. A lovely clean and safe place with plenty to see.
An amazing and very nice city to walk around,We had to go there as we had a cruise departing from Yokohama, but I enjoyed every moment of walking around the city, great views, parks, restaurants and cruise ship terminal
I wished I stayed longer at Yokohama to really explore the tourist spots in Yokohama. It's a nice city and I only managed to go to the Sankeien Garden, Ramen Museum and Minato Mirai 21.
I traveled to Yokohama to vist my girlfriend of only one month. We traveled all over Yokohma and stayed at the Rose Garden Hotel right in China Town.
sauber, elegant mediteran zu emfehlen ist hübsche einkaufsstraße von motomachi uferpromenade bei nacht einfach zu fuß zwei, drei stunden ohne ziel durch die straßen wandern
The city outshines any city in the USA, the streets are pleasant to walk around day or night, the people are very pleasant and courteous , helpful to strangers
Minato Mirai 21 can be reached easily by train, the nearest station is Minato Mirai Station. I also walked back to my hotel, Sheraton Bay (near Yokohama Station) on foot as there were just so much to see around the area and the best way to experience a city is by foot! I visited the Cup Noodles Museum, Cosmo World Amusement Park, shopped at World Porter, Landmark Plaza, Queen's Square, Red Brick Warehouse, saw the retired ship at the Yokohama Port Museum and strolled along the waterfront and the promenade.
yokohama is a wonderfull city that has grown through the years. they are always updating buildings and cleaning up bad locations.

Was a great place to start my Japan trip. Not too busy and overwhelming, yet it has a great many attractions.
I loved Yokohama. The bayside area is well laid out. Go up to the 69th floor of Landmark Tower for a beautiful view.
Great city just south of Tokyo. Good to visit and see the port life and Sea Park, but not enough to do for more than 2 days of sightseeing.
This is a city not far away TOKYO, you can select better hotel to stay in this city. Take marine every day to TOKYO will be a good option for you.
Yokohama is a place to go you can see double deck car highways, seaport, very huge china town in yokoham.
Yokohama is a quiet city in Japan, with a beautiful harbour. A nice city to visit for relaxing and sight seeing.
