Everything was great , scut ally this is was my first trip to Nicaragua . It was a small adventure in a country that I don't know anyone. I was lucky to choose this hotel ; great location , most importantly great staff . They made my trip easy and wonderful ..they almost planned everything for me in order to enjoy every moment . From My trip to mangua to my trip to san juan del su.. Definitely I recommend this hotel .

The hotel staff is really helpful and friendly. A very big pro is that it is located extremely near the airport and they have shuttles every half hour that will take you to it at no charge. If you like luxurious amenities you'll like this place.

I've been to Managua before. This hotel is okay but with a little more attention to detail it would stand out. I had email confirmation that I would be picked up at the airport. No one showed for 1 hour. I took a taxi and the desk clerk was kind enough to reimburse my taxi fare. The room was clean and I felt safe there. I asked for a wake up call and set up transportation to the bus terminal. No wake up call and I had to find and wake up the van driver. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner. The pools were very nice also.

This hotel was very cheap especially including a good breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean!:) a short tour in Carlos car is included and I would recommend everyone doing it to get some interesting facts about the city! We really appreciated that! :)

Kind staf, looks very nice and cosy Getting a non aircon room was a bad idea Unfortunately we where there during the riots (week 16 2018), for safety reasons the hotel was on lockdown and no services could be provided outside the hostel, so we left sooner then booked to escape possible further escalation of the situation, but the management gave 0 compensation, so don’t expect compassion from this hostel.

The room is this hotel is really small, with low ceiling. The room I stayed in was not occupied for some time. The air-conditioner was really old and really really really noisy. The breakfast is included but basically you get two pieces of toast, some cheap butter and a cup of Liption tea.

Staff great vibes, great location, good facilities Be aware: If you choose shared dorm it’s kind of dangerous there is like no door so anyone could enter.

The hotel is certainly up to standard, close to the few attractions in the city, next to a (second rate) mall with a decent food court and a good muvie theater. There is an ATM in the mall that is convienient. The staff is exceptionally professional and friendly. The one disapointment I experienced at the Crown Plaza was the taxi crew. You can get a taxi for a third the cost if you just walk out to the street, and Walter, the taxi manager, is no better at understanding what you want than any other taxi driver. Make sure you know what you are paying for before getting in Walter's cab.

Hotel is in a good location in Managua. In room internet was complimentary and worked well unlike other hotels in the same area. Staff was helpful and friendly with a good knowledge of English. Good value for the money. Room service was a little slow but the room service menue is fairly extensive with the food quality being satisfactory to good.

Some of the reception desk staff are not very welcoming. Everybody else was amazing! Shuttle available to drive you around grounds or into town. Property is beautiful and the views from your patio are absolutely stunning. Property is built into side of mountain so there are many steps to get up to your room from the main building. There were some issues with where we were located and not being given connecting rooms. The windows leaked badly with the rain and flooded the bathrooms and dining room. Staff at reception were slow to answer calls for repairs and sometimes didn't answer the phone at all. Prices for food and drinks were steep. Wait staff and shuttle staff were exceptional. Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to returning. Request rooms close to reception building.

We were very please with the cost and the free breakfast and water refills. Elena arranged for taxi service when ever we needed it at a very reasonable cost.plus it is only a 15 minute ride to the airport. We felt very safe walking the streets and exploring.

Loved it! The best thing about the place was the owner. From the minute I walked through the door, she did everything she could Tomane me feel welcome. Also heard the breakfast is amazing and a great deal but never actually had a chance to try it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a private room at a decent rate.

The service was amazing! We made a mistake and booked for the wrong day, when we arrived they had to give us another room, and they upgraded us free of charge! They were very professional and on time for what we asked (calling a cab, etc.) !

We had a good time in the town. Saw the volcano Massaya and the market at Massaya. Took a horse drawn carriage tour around Granada, saw many interesting things including the lake. Needed 5 days but only had 3. Our hotel was about 6 blocks from downtown Granada but easily walkable and enjoyable to walk so as to see the interesting architecture and colorful buildings. Really enjoyed seeing the churches, La Merced, San Francisco, the cathedral, Guadeloupe. Going up in the bells area of the La Merced church was well worth the $1. Hotel was definitely nice but a little pricey.

The price was cheap in comparison to other hotels. No hot water for showering, the showerhead shot straight down and so you have figure out how to get wet and rinse amounts. Others things. The room itself wasn't dirty but the walls and fixtures were . The noise early in the

I arrived on New Years eve so you can imagine that it wasn’t exactly a quiet place to stay. Lots of fireworks in Managua! A very large group of college students were staying at this hotel on a mission type trip and as a result the hotel was a little noisy. My room was on the 2nd floor and the lobby area is open to the second floor. The noise carries since there is a lot of hard surfaces. I could hear the sound in my room. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The a/c unit is on the wall below the window. As a result it blew cold air on the bed and my legs got cold in the night. The rooms are not real big. Bathroom was your basic bathroom. The carpet in the hallway is really awful and either needs a really good cleaning or to be replaced. The Hex hotel brand is a lower end hotel that offers “reasonably” priced accommodations. Since it was New Years eve, it wasn’t cheap, the rate dropped about $30 the next night. Nice breakfast in the morning. Food quality is so so.

Though on the spendy side for SJDS, the rooms terrace made it good value. Located across the street from the beach, on the third floor, it looked out over the entire beach and bay. The large terrace had a couch, two chairs and a table which made the room more like a suite of bedroom and living room. There is no restaurant but the hotel is surrounded by them. The pool area is attractive but it's not a "swimming" pool - more like a plunge pool.

The bungalows are a little old. There is no sandy beach near and the south east side of the island is the prettiest.

We stayed at Elements for the evening before our flight back to the US and we were very happy with our stay. The hotel is very modern with a great bar and restaurant area that you would picture in NYC or London. We had dinner at the Oxygen restaurant and the food and service was excellent. We were traveling with our 2 year old son and the staff was very accommodating. I emailed a week before about a crib for the room. I received a prompt reply that they would have a crib for no extra charge and it was in the room when we checked in. The hotel itself is in a good, safe location. There is a large, upscale mall a 5-7 minute walk and a nice grocery store about a block away. The hotel had a car service to the airport ($25 including tip) which there were able to put on our bill. Great hotel at a great price and would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Managua as a good alternative to the major chain hotels in the city.

Yemaya was truly incredible. This hotel is boutique luxury at an incredible price. I highly recommend it to any couple for any occasion. The bungalows are flawlessly adorned, with an aesthetic that can only be captured in a setting like this. The staff anticipated one's needs, and could not have been more attentive. Most places on earth with this level of luxury and topographical beauty would cost 2 or 3 times as much. We cannot wait to return.

This is a very nice place. It is on the pricier side but it's worth it. The staff is amazing! The guys in the bar became friends and I miss them. Nice and quiet away from the madness of Calzada st.

The owner and his son, Stephen and Toby, are welcoming hosts whose attention to the quality of our stay could be felt throughout our stay: from the condition of the grout to our engagement with the city of Granada. Toby's art fills the Hotel and serves as lively contrast to Stephen's understated design palate. this combination makes for a lovely environmental oasis in the middle of Granada. The location, though not right in the centre of Granada, is close to everything without being caught up in the noise and busy-ness of the city centre itself. Well priced, well appointed, and well recommended. Thank you gentlemen!

Photos do not reflect the real properties. Building is very old, dark and depressive. Too many furnitures, they are dark and old. Location is not so bad. Neighbourhood is ok but it is far to central locations.

We stayed here two nights and had selected Totoco primarily for its impressive view of Concepcion and serene location. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Some comments: (a) Steep road to reach the hotel, heavily rocky, but did not require a 4x4. (b) IMPRESSIVE location with unobstructed views of Concepcion from our porch, outdoor shower, and throughout lobby/restaurant and pool area. (c) Restaurant and bar were fantastic, and intensely welcoming staff! (d) This is an Eco-Lodge so important to reiterate that some traditional hotel amenities are not present: toilets are compost-style, but impressive in upkeep; heated shower water runs out quickly, but cool water felt refreshing in the intense Nicaraguan heat; lack of air conditioner in the room was not a problem on our second night, when breeze was strong to supplement fan provided. Given remoteness of this island, this is an impressive hotel. We really did feel in a piece of paradise.
