Go for the location and comfortable beds, not for the breakfast”
Lovely budget hotel with great staff and location and comfy beds. Clean. rooms Jr suite is big enough to accommodate three pieces of luggage and 2 guests. The only complaint is that the breakfasts are mediocre even by moderately-priced hotel standards. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere.
it is in a dirk alley. a bit scary to access alone at night”
a room and a breakfast and a service are ok but location is behind the main street. walking at night is not recommended for a female guest
Staff are fantastic & friendly”
All staffs are friendly, helpful & speak understandable English. A warm welcome are given by the staffs. Manager David speak fluent English, detail & explain to us to take precautions when travel in Hanoi since this is our first day at here. He also give us a map & guide us how to tour around the city. Our room also have a free upgrade from Superior Double to Family Suite. Thank you La Beaute De Hanoi Hotel by providing us a superb hospitality.
Very very friendly staff with a great location to old city”
Nice stay . I don't think that the room is 25m2 it is much smaller. The staff is so friendly and came to my room cuz she didnot understand what I asked her. The location is great and located to the old town but the car cannot reach.
We stayed twice at La Beaute De Hanoi Hotel. While the first room we got was rather small, the second one was large and very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, in a quiet alley off a busy street.
The beds are a little hard, the balcony was only 2 feet deep, you couldn’t sit out there. The staff were excellent - special acknowledgment to Lucy for her warm personality and Leo for his friendliness and help booking trips to Halong Bay @ Mai Chau which were both excellent. The location is great - close to the action but a block away from all the noise.. good breakfasts. Pretty clean for Vietnamese standards, but not great from a Canadian perspective.
Superb boutique hotel, with amazing Staff”
Superb boutique hotel, with only two rooms per floor, so the rooms are quite large and spacious. It ticks every single quality of a great hotel, such as being clean and comfortable, great Wi-Fi, free and a reasonable choice of food for breakfast, nicely decorated rooms giving a lived in look, tastefully done décor, in a great location, but the best thing about this hotel is the Staff. Amazingly helpful staff, e.g. there wasn’t a single time when I entered the hotel where the doorman didn’t open the door for me, or when I entered the receptionist didn’t greet me by name. Their gentle queries about what I’m doing and where I’m going together with their very informative and helpful hints about locations to visit and helping me to understand Hanoi are illuminative about the excellent caring nature of their staff. Would totally recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. All the Staff, especially Lucy are the epitome of what great staff should be in a hotel.
Clean hotel, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff ”
La Beauté de Hanoi was an excellent choice for our stay in the Old Quarter. The facilities were clean and comfortable, the staff (especially the front of house clerk named Lucy) went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and the morning breakfast had an incredible selection including a tasty bowl of pho to start your day. It was an easy walk to all of the best street food and eateries and reputable massage places to have a decent foot massage after a day of walking the busy (and uneven) streets of Hanoi. With Old Quarter places that are closer to all of the liveliness, it is quite noisy at night so bring earplugs. We also had a window with a view to the lovely cement wall of the building beside us, so be prepared that you won’t get an Instagram worthy photo of Hanoi. It’ll certainly give your friends at home a chuckle. Overall, we loved our stay and would certainly consider La Beaute again if we’re ever back in the city.
Great boutique hotel close to everything in the Hanoi Old Quarter (Hoan Kiem District)”

I will say the staff there is a big plus point for this hotel”
located at the small avenue of main road. thus not so noisy. receptionist was extremely friendly to help us when we check in. he recommended us some famous restaurants and night market. we also book ninh binh trip through this hotel even tho we not stay here next day.
2nd Stay at La Beaute De Hanoi Hotel”
We came back to the same hotel after an overnight cruise along Ha Long Bay. This time we stayed in a junior suite in level 2. This time around the wifi worked perfectly. We had a shower curtain and the safe was working fine compared to the 1st time we stayed in this same hotel but in a superior room in level 7 and we’ve had problems with the above mentioned. Location was great, just walking distance to shopping, & places to eat & drink.
Le Beaute De Hanoi Hotel”
The hotel is located in a small lane in Old Quarter, which cannot be access by car, but about 1 minute walking distance to the street for access by taxi. Hotel is near to convenient shops and bunch of shops selling bags, souvenirs and miscellaneous crafts. Not the high class shopping malls type. However, the hotel is being well renovated to 4/5 star condition. Welcome us with a cold soft drink. 5 roses lying on top of our bed which make it unique. Facilities are really good, decorations are romantic. Room slightly smaller. Staff are extra ordinary helpful. Breakfast is another delight for us. Apart from normal style of buffet breakfast. My omelette has a "Niceday" and my children's scramble eggs has "Sunnyday" written with tomato juice on the plate. So sweet !! The owner or manager definitely put in a lot of effort into this hotel, which is different from other hotels !!
The location is great, easy to walk everywhere around the city. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. We even received map with recommended places and restaurants and a guide on how to cross the street or bargain in the market. Breakfast was nice. The room is a bit old, but clean and tidy. I guess we were expecting more from the balcony, which was tiny and had some garbage there, so it's not worthed to pay extra for it. But overall nice stay and lovely staff.
Very friendly staff and great location ”
We loved the hotel! The staff were amazing, especially with our little 8 month old baby. The location was great. So close to everything in the old quarter, yet down a quieter alley so away from the chaos! The bed was really comfy and the room a decent size. Breakfast was ok.
Great location in old town, good value except for one thing: the basic rooms literally look out on to cement walls 1 inch away, almost no natural light. I paid to upgrade to a jr. suite just to not feel claustrophobic. Comfortable beds and well appointed rooms with one exception: the showers are very odd, there is almost no way to take a shower without water pooling on the sides and eventually getting on the floor. Baffling design choice. Staff was great, helped me out a lot. But you can save money by booking tours/transport elsewhere. Breakfast was pretty good.
It was the best choice...”
First of all, the hotel is clean & the staffs are support customers with kindness. Normally no very good quality from free serviced breakfast but it was great, over enough. I booked again this hotel for next schedule at the Old Quarter place.
Room clean and convenient”
Check in was breezed. The hotel staff speaks good English. The hotel is located through a small lane but not an issue . The taxi may not have direct access . You can get the staff to help to book a taxi . You have to walk about 200 meter to the main road . The hotel staff will assist you. Surrounding area is old quarters or shops . You can get many foods , if you could moved around the area, you can feel very local . Many things that you could shops from souvenir to household items . It a great place . No worries about safety . You can work around the places after 10 pm . Andy L.
Well located in the old quarter. Just 3 minutes walk to beer corner and 3 minutes to the lake. surrounded with so many nice foods and stores. Their staffs are super helpful and super welcoming, they explain everything to you and suggestion in terms of anything you would love to do. Thank you for your good services and will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Great Hotel. Fantastic location. Super staff. ”
Fantastic stay. Right in the centre of the old quarter but just tucked down a narrow side street away from the traffic madness. Staff were outstandingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Large comfortable room with little balcony was nice.
With the many many hotel options in Hanoi, we landed ourselves in this one and found that it's pretty quaint and tucked in a little alley that is large enough only for motorcycles to pass. If you have big luggage you will have to wheel it in through the alley yourself. I'm sure hotel staff will assist with that as well. 3 doors down and theres a pho stop that seems remarkably popular. Breakfast was basic and uneventful. Good area to explore around the hotel. Front desk staff were excellent and welcoming. But location wise, many other hotels can easily beat this one. Room was big and comfortable sized and clean.
