Hidden paradise”
This place was amazing for the price, it was nice and secluded. The couple that runs the place are very nice. It is not on any main road so it is quiet and peaceful. My fiance and I loved every minute of our stay.

Exactly what we were looking for”
Forget the super 5 star hotel and embrace a family friendly hotel. We were like at home, like from an uncle that borrow us his holiday apartment. The hotel is a bit far from the center, but we rented a car so was not a problem, and we really feel very welcome there. Each house/room is very clean and the silence at night is just amazing. The kids love to go out early morning to try to catch the ducks and chickens, while we were waiting for the breakfast. Breakfast is other great experience. In outdoor, near the pool, with plenty of food, different every day, cooked in a real family style, not as a fast food chain. Chiang Mai is a must return place for us, and this hotel is part of our plans.

Caring Hosts and Luxurious Hotel”
First, Gabriel and Saithong were amazing. So helpful and proactive from the moment they picked us up..We were worried initially about being isolated out far from chiang mai and fun activities but it was not an issue at all as we expected. They took care of arranging several tours for us on short notice and Gabriel drove us out there. It is a small family run resort and they do treat you like family, you can tell they enjoy caring for their guests. At one point, we needed to go to a pharmacy and without hesitatio they volunteered to take us to the closest one but it was closed so they then took us to the next town over to make sure we were taken care of. The highlight for us was motorbiking through the countryside and seeing the rice fields and all the agriculture taking place. So beautiful and such a fun experience of having the freedom to go anywhere and just explore on your own. Also, they had a Thai masseuse come and give us massages in our room. As far as luxury goes, the room we had (serenity villa) is closer to 4 star than 3 star. Incredibly spacious, fresh flowers from the garden in the room, outdoor jacuzzi and a huge deck... amazing value. Breakfast is served by the pool every morning. Was delicious buy not much variety after several days. Fantastic stay overall. Others have covered language barrier (Gabriel's English was enough for 90% of situations really but downloading Google Translate French and Thai languages is a good idea anyway). Recommend to have them pick you up rather than trying to take a taxi from Chiang Mai. Enjoy getting away from the bustle and relaxing!

Nice hotel away from the city center”
First of all, this hotel is good value for money. It's a small resort with only a few rooms 20km from Chiang Mai. We stayed here 3 nights and the owner of the place arranged us a scooter (250 baht/day) which you definitely need if you stay here and want to do something. The room was clean but not luxurious. In the seperate toilet there was a horrible synthetic rose smelling air "refresher" which made the entire room smell when opening the door (really horrible and cheap compared to the nice lemongrass air refreshers they use in the fancy hotels all over Thailand). The pool is nice but was dirty 2 of the 3 days we were there, which was a pitty. From there we drove with the scooter to the jungle in Mae rim which was really nice (don't take the highway, we did that on the way there and it gets really dangerous once you re in the hills and there s only 1 lane)! There is a small bar/restaurant 50m away, they have a small English menu but ask for the Thai menu, they have so much more dishes that are really much better than what's on the English menu! All by all a nice place with great potential and good value for money

The same”
Was only going to stay one night, but liked the hotel, so booked three more nights, and paid a little more to get the better room with bathtub, but the owner said to just stay in the same room, so was a bit disappointed we paid more for the same room. Also, it is about a 35 minute drive to chiang mai proper. Otherwise, the place is lovely, and staff is nice.

Most beautiful place we have ever been”
We arrived within an hour of making our booking and even in the rush we were very well catered to! The staff were all extremely friendly, even offering us a lift to the bus station the following day for a small fee! The location is out of the way, very tranquil with stunning scenery next to the pool! The resort was the most beauitful building we have ever seen, inside and out! The gardens were intriguing with many ponds and even caged birds! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet yet gorgeous get away! Words can not describe just how magical this place was, we will never forget it!

Amazing restful getaway.”
My husband and I were stayed at this wonderful place for an evening getaway. It is a beautiful place that is clearly created by people who are very passionate about the place.
It was a quiet restful place in an amazing setting. More enjoyable if you have a motorbike to get to nearby restaurants and surrounding areas. The pool was very nice, and the house is incredible. Great deal for the price!

Far and away...”
Quiet location, cats, pool.
Fairly average, the rooms were nice and large, but the hot water pressure is very poor during the cooler winter nights. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. I'd imagine this place to be much nicer in the summer with the AC, but occasionally with such high vaulted ceiling, it'd be nice to have a heater also for the cold winter nights... yes, yes... I know it's Thailand and how can anyone phantom it being too cold. I'm just saying that it does get cold occasionally in the winter months and a small heater would do well for those cold nights. Other than that, it's a nice resort and we enjoy our stay.

A great stay away from the city”
Owners, Food and Swimming Pool
The hotel is very unique, small but lovely, the location is quite far from the city of Chiang Mai however it is set in a lovely village with local markets and festivals. We went for lots of bike rides with lovely settings using the free bikes. Gabriel was so helpful and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to whilst in Chiang Mai. The food cooked by Saithong at breakfast and dinner was always of a good quality, dinner in particular was delicious! We had a great time at the hotel and are very happy that we chose it instead of a hotel within the city.

Relaxing visit to a rural B&B”
Amazing bathtub, friendly owners, breakfast by the emerald fields
Had a great stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. The owners were friendly, the room was comfortable (and included an awesome wooden bathtub!), the food was good, and the location was nicely quiet and rural. My only warning: get the GPS coordinates before you go -- the Google map location is about 2km off. Overall, very nice weekend getaway.
