Stayed 10 nights. First time in Daan since I heard it’s a very pleasant area. It was away from the hussle and bussle compared to Zhongshan area. Good for those that desire more relaxing atmosphere. For the young, it might be different although I must say the convenience of traveling around town was superb since it’s a step out from the MRT exit. The plus is that the exit has an escalator going up. No stress with luggage. Hotel is walkable to Taipei 101. Room was good size, most importantly bed comfortable and I enjoyed soaking in the bathtub. Toilet was equipped with the wonderful bidets familiar in Japan. Restaurant on the first floor is usually busy and it’s definitely a relief after daily Chinese food. Healthy fruit stand that also offers smoothies just across the intersection was my daily stop. Starbucks at the corner. Massage salon open 24 hrs recommended by staff Peggy was so awesome. Had delicious rib eye with lobster surf and turf @ Le Blanc just a few minutes away. Went back another day for burgers. And most importantly, especially after a prolonged stay, the staff was all very nice and helpful. Politely greeted every time I come and go. What more can you ask for?
[Room Condition] The 101 Tower View room was wonderful, as it constantly reminded us that we were traveling in Taipei every time we looked outside. The king-size bed was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked quickly and efficiently. We stayed during the winter season in Taipei, and the hotel made thoughtful efforts to ensure guest comfort, including providing a portable heater upon request. [Transportation] The hotel is conveniently located near Exit 6 of Daan Station, which serves both the Taipei Metro Red Line and Brown Line, making transportation very easy. While taxis or Uber are also available, the location is especially ideal for travelers planning to use the metro. From the Red Line, it was easy to access Xiangshan Observation Deck, Taipei 101, and Tamsui, where you can enjoy a walk along Taiwan’s west coast. The Brown Line also provides convenient access to Maokong and the Taipei Zoo. [Service] Before our stay, we received friendly and prompt responses to our inquiries via email, which was very reassuring. Although breakfast was not included in our Agoda reservation, it is available at the restaurant on the first floor for around NT$400 per adult. In addition, there are several local breakfast takeout shops located right next to Exit 6 of Daan Station, so this was not an inconvenience at all. One thing to note for stays of three nights or longer is the hotel’s ECO STAY policy, which is worth checking in advance. (***)
We had a lovely stay at Park Taipei hotel, which is very conveniently located right next to Daan subway station, cafes and breakfast spots. The hotel check-in process was smooth and staff were polite. The rooms are spacious and clean. No disposable amenities are provided due to Taiwan's environmental policy, but those can be easily bought at the many convenience stores in and around the city. On the 2/F, there is a nice lounge area for hotel guests to grab tea and coffee. I believe this is to compensate for the relatively small hotel lobby. All in all, I love the hotel's clean, spacious room and convenient location. I would definitely stay here again.
It was very clean and spacious room, bright enough to be working in the room all day. Also has a big window that leads to a balcony but you’re not allowed to open the door. I asked for higher floor but they only could give me 3rd floor. I was on the side facing 101 but because my floor is so low I can’t see that view. Outside my balcony has 2 blinking lights that’s either part of the outside decor or furniture. It’s reallllllllly annoying because it blinks in red and blue 24/7. So you can’t really avoid it as it’s right outside your window. Also there was construction outside my room so that wasn’t great. They only clean your room every other day so I had to request for extra water and for them to clear my garbage on the day they didn’t do housekeeping. I believe the room would’ve been alot more enjoyable if I was placed on a higher floor, considering I spent a fair amount of time inside my room working in the 8 days I stayed in Taipei. Great location, right on top of the MRT and lots of good eats around the neighbourhood. Definitely recommend this hotel and I will come back if the pricing isn’t too expensive. The price isn’t the cheapest considering it’s not a global chain 4-star level hotel but paying those prices.
Overall, this is a great hotel — from its prime location and cleanliness to the comfort of the rooms and the outstanding service from the staff. The hotel is conveniently located right in front of the train station, making it very easy to get anywhere. There are also several restaurants and convenience stores in the area, adding to the overall convenience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, but what truly stood out was the excellent service. Special thanks to the Front Office and Concierge teams, and especially to Peggy for going above and beyond in accommodating all our requests. Special shoutout to Mr. Concierge in the morning! 🙂 A thoughtful feature is that you can request unlimited complimentary bottled water throughout your stay — a small touch that makes a big difference. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel restaurant, Swensen’s, which serves great food and delicious ice cream. A sweet bonus: they offer a free ice cream sundae if you’re celebrating your birthday! Highly recommended!
The location of this hotel is super convenient as it has mrt station right in front of the entrance. The hotel room we got is at 11th floor and it gas a great view of Taipei 101 from the room which were very satisfactory. The room was very spacious and comfortable as well. The breakfast selection at the lobby is under Swensen which is fine. Nearby hotel within 10-15mins walk has some cafes and local breakfast place for alternatives. The only inconvenience is the hotel card as it will be unable to tap in the lift if the card is place too close or near any digital devices like handphones, powerbank etc so we need to keep head to the counter to get it verified to our room number numerous time. If they could upgrade the system that would be seamless to get in and out of the hotel. But overall was a good experience and we had a great stay at this place as there is also a newly launched lounge area where we can relax with complimentary tea and coffee and had our takeouts at the common area as well.
We spent three nights at the Park Taipei Hotel, and the location is easily one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Having Exit 6 of the Daan MRT station right outside the door made navigating the city effortless, and having a YouBike station immediately accessible was a huge plus. The neighborhood is a dream for foodies, surrounded by fantastic breakfast spots, great coffee, and a FamilyMart just steps away for anything you might need. The hotel room itself was super clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. The only downside was our initial arrival; the staff member who handled our check-in was quite grumpy—there was no greeting or eye contact, and they seemed to begrudgingly ask for our passports. However, despite that cold start, the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend this place for the location alone and would definitely stay here again!
The room is spacious and clean. The window faces the garden but not the main road so the view is quite good. However there was construction work outside and we were on the third floor so it was a bit noisy in the morning (not like very early morning though). The bathroom is quite large with shower and bathtub on two sides. However there was a little mold on the hairdryer bag so we didn’t use it. The water pressure was strong enough and the temperature was very stable. The mattress was too soft and did not fit our style. There is a table in the room but we wished there could be more spots for putting things on. It would also be good if an extra luggage rack can be offered so that we don’t have to open the luggage on the floor, since the room is so spacious. The staff were so friendly and helpful, with smiles on their faces all the time. Finally , the location of the hotel is amazing. It was right at the no. 6 exit of Daan station. It was so convenient to go anywhere. We highly recommend this hotel.
Park Taipei Hotel offered an excellent and comfortable stay, enhanced by its newly renovated rooms. The location is superb—right next to the MRT, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The renovated rooms feel fresh, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and good soundproofing that ensured a restful night. The staff were consistently warm, efficient, and helpful, providing smooth check-in and attentive service throughout my stay. Amenities such as reliable Wi-Fi and clean facilities added to the overall experience. Overall, Park Taipei Hotel provides great value, modern comfort, and outstanding accessibility. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.
The location will be the most ideal thing about this hotel. It doesn't offer breakfast but there are quite a few eateries nearby and a Swensen's western restaurant below which as a guest you get 10% discounts on weekdays and 5% off on weekends. The breakfast spots next door are closed on weekends but there is a Starbucks next door. The Daan MRT exit 6 is right outside the hotel which would be the biggest draw and its about a 15min walk to the SOGO mall. The staff are efficient but mostly professional with minimum warmth. Rooms are cleaned every 2 days but basic amenities like coffee, tea, kettle, safe deposit, shampoo and shower gel are provided. They don't offer items like toothbrushes, comb or shavers. The lobby is rather small so it gets crowded with luggages everyday. The taxis are quite accessible right outside the door and your uber can be waiting right outside the pavement. The access via the MRT exit is via a long stairs downwards so something for travelers to take note of if they wish to carry heavy luggages to travel via train. Other than that, the rooms are basic and pleasant for a short stay with a basic gym and second floor lounge where you can purchase food and drinks via a vending machine and free tea and coffee machine there. There are quite a few convenience stores around which makes it quite easy to get a quick drink or bite around the clock. Overall it was a pleasant enough stay for my parent and I.
First of, the location of this hotel is perfect. Just outside Taipei MRT Daan station exit no.6, super convenient! However, consider the equipments to the price, this hotel is slightly on the expensive side. I was there on Tuesday, a weekday, and a two beds room cost me almost $***; the TV stations are pretty bad and boring; didn't include breakfast with this price; and the view is a construction site... The room is clean and the bed is comfortable though. I did have a good night sleep. I might consider staying at this hotel again, but I will have to wait for a better deal on the price.
The location of this hotel is super convenient as it has mrt station right in front of the entrance. The breakfast selection at the lobby is under Swensen which is fine. Nearby hotel within 10-15mins walk has some cafes and local breakfast place for alternatives. Hotel is conveniently located at exit 6 of Daan station. Room size was large and comfortable. There’s a small balcony in the room but not accessible. Bathroom was spacious too, with a shower area and separate bath tub. Bath soap, shampoo and hand soap smelled great. Would have preferred better pillows. The provided ones are a bit flat for me. The gym was small but adequate. Had to make creative use of the single cable machine to substitute pull ups and dips. Also thankful for the coffee machine on the same floor in a nice little lounge area. One quirk is that the card scanning is slow and sometimes takes repeated tries to access anything from the gym, coffee room, lift to even the hotel room.
The hotel is conveniently located beside Exit 6 of Daan Station (red line) . Exiting at 6 from Daan station is pretty convenient with escalators. When leaving the hotel and entering Daan station, walk a few meters to Entrance 5 where there is an elevator. There’s Swensen’s cafe at the hotel lobby. Beside the hotel are food stalls including a small coffee shop, Bros Coffee that opens early and serves coffee and sandwiches. There’s also Starbucks nearby. Room No. 1310 (101 View Room) has a great view of Taipei 101! The bedroom is clean, smells good, and spacious enough. Has a good-sized bathtub and shower (separate from the tub). The toilet uses Toto with Japanese-style bidet. I like that the control for lighting is centralised and just by the bedside table. I like that the flooring has no carpet. The area around the hotel is quite opposite to the vibe around Ximending. Plus for those who love a morning stroll at the park, Daan Park is just a few meters away. Near the Daan Park is another small coffee shop (Cama Coffee Roasters). From there, Din Tai Fung Xinsheng Branch is a short walk away — be sure to queue early as number for Q starts at 9:50. Yongkang Street is also just a short distance away. Overall, I would love to stay again at this hotel the next time we visit Taipei!
Situated outside of the tourist district but within a 10 minute walk to Daan Park and the Jade Market this was a comfortable hotel catered more for business than leisure travellers. Check in was strictly at 3 pm although luggage could be stored until then. The staff were very polite but less friendly than other hotels I've stayed at in Taiwan. They arranged a taxi for our depearture which was there early. There is no breakfast included but there is a Swensons on site and a 10% discount was given on showing my room card. We did have a slight issue when requesting laundry which did not get collected for some reason - it may have been a language issue. Overall I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others. The 101 King View room was excellent.
Excellent hotel located right next to Daan subway station. It is only a few subway stations away from Taipei 101 and Yongkang street. There are also many eateries nearby with a superb selection of breakfast options, from western sandwich & coffee shops to the traditional soy milk & shaobing / youtiao places. For those who like to workout, the hotel has a small gym on the 2nd floor. There is also an executive lounge that offers free tea and coffee to hotel guests. Rooms are clean and tidy. Beds are comfy. Only downside are the comforters, which were a bit too thick and warm even in winter. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely book this hotel again next time.
Hotel is conveniently located outside the exit of Daan MRT station. There were also many good food options within walking distance from the hotel. Traveling to attractions along the Xinyi-Tamsui red line was really easy- Shilin night market, Linjiang night market, Taipei 101, National Taiwan Museum, Yong Kang Street. The Daan Forest Park nearby was lovely for the whole family. Wonderful playground, pond with many ducks. Great for a morning stroll. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us useful information. Overall great stay:)
We enjoyed staying in Park Taipei Hotel. Very convenient location , MTR is exit 6 is just outside the hotel entrance. Room has the perfect view of Taipei 101. Though there is no breakfast, you can grab some food nearby. Room is clean and smells good.
No joke when reviews say very literally, the Da'an MRT entrance (Exit 6) is right at the door step! I remembered walking by this hotel years ago when I lived in another hotel down the street and am glad to have stayed here during my short trip to Taiwan. I had to split my stay up as I made a short trip down to East Taiwan and the hotel was kind enough to offer a concierge service and have my luggage stored with them knowing I will be returning to stay the day after. Appreciated the general eco-friendly practices and having check if I was ok to skip housekeeping as part of their policy (which I was completely ok with)! Didn't get to spend much time in the room, but it is generally comfortable and the 101 views are great! Would definitely come back again and rank this as one of my go-to options when back in Taipei.
The MRT exit literally opens up to the hotel which makes it very convenient. Room is reasonably spacious and clean. I had one facing the MRT line/road but the noise was not noticeable at all. Gym is small with limited equipment. No laundry service/facilities in-house which may be a bit challenging if staying for longer period but ok for short stays. Rooms are cleaned only on alternate days. There are a number of restaurants around the area as well as a Family Mart and Starbucks round the corner. In-house restaurant is a Swensen's which I did not bother to try. Overall pleasant stay.
Andy the front desk staff was very professional and nice from check-in to handling request to change my hotel room to lower floor after shocking experiencing earthquake from top floor which actually feels like rocking boat. The sudden low magnitude earthquake was indeed normal according to the staff and most Taiwanese living at Taipei. Was a first time experience for myself anyway. Had a great rest and assurance after changing to lower floor. The best hotel with nice comfy bed and clean toilet too. Beautiful Taipei 101 view too. Definitely will return on my next trip to Taipei. Thanks Andy for the great hospitality! Didn’t manage to buy you a coffee on my day checkout.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. This hotel is literally right next to Daan metro station Exit 6, super convenient location with lots of local eateries and bubble team places around. I love the fact that the floor is wooden and not carpeted, the room is generally clean and I like the set up of it. I think I was upgraded to a room with a balcony and a view of Taipei 101. The staff was really friendly and they feel professional. It is great price for the value! Next time idi go to Taipei again, I will def stay here again.
Park Taipei Hotel is conveniently located right at the MRT exit 6, it’s also a stop away from the Lin Jiang night market and busy Zhong Xiao Fu Xing/SOGO. The hotel is clean and comfortable with good view of Taipei 101 from our room. However, it could be so much better if there is 24hr laundry machine and drinking water dispenser. We walked 15min to a laundromat after a long day out. Only hot water dispenser10am - 10pm. The hotel has no breakfast provided. You can only go for breakfast at level 1 Swensen or other breakfast options along the street.

The location is awesome, next to MRT station that leads to most attraction places like Taipei 101. The room is pleasant with generous bathroom and bath tub. Relaxing and comfortable bed is a great plus. Overall a solid choice for those looking for a convenient spot with relaxing resting place.
We stayed for 7 days. Had a 4yr old and a 70yr with me and the room was comfortable enough for 7days. Service from the front desk to housekeeping and just about every staff member we encountered was first class. Though the standard check in time is 3pm, we were able to get into our room before that time. They delivered our luggage to our room. We had daily housekeeping. One of the days we forgot to put on the housekeeping light. When we noticed, we put the light on. In less than 5 mins, an attendant was knocking at our door. The interactions are always so upbeat and pleasant. Won't find service like this in the US!! The bed is comfortable, the soundproofing is excellent, the towels and robes are nice and fluffy. Water and teas replenished daily. We only had trouble with our key cards one time and they informed us to keep the card away from cellphone. There is one restaurant in the hotel on the first floor. We ate breakfast there and as hotel guests, we received a 10% discount. The breakfast was subpar. You can skip it and eat from the stands outside of the hotel. There is a few coffee, tea and food stands. A Starbucks right at the corner. Two 7-11s and a family mart around the corner. If you have young children, there is a nice neighborhood park right behind the hotel. Daan station right in front of the hotel. We are few blocks away from a big shopping area with two SOGOs. Nighttime is quiet, cannot hear much traffic sounds. If you're looking for a clean and quiet spot, this is your place.
We arrived at Park Taipei Hotel around midnight, and there were only two staff members on duty. Even so, they were very welcoming and willing to help, especially since we were traveling with small kids who were tired and sleepy. The room was very nice, clean, and smelled fresh. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The hotel overall was clean and well maintained. The staff spoke English well and were extremely helpful and friendly, which made our late arrival much easier and stress-free. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Park Taipei—it was probably the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip. I was especially impressed that, for a 4-star hotel, the level of cleanliness exceeded expectations and the room was exceptionally well maintained. The receptionists and hotel staff were also very friendly and efficient, particularly when we requested help to unclog the toilet. The location is extremely convenient as it is right next to the metro station. Highly recommend!! :)
Room is big and comfortable even with spread out luggage. Good location with the MRT exit just right outside the hotel. It’s only a little inconvenient if it rains but no worry, the hotel has umbrellas available. Staff at counter was really friendly and helpful, answers question promptly and assist your luggage when you reach. I like that when you’re early but not available for check-in, they’ll arrange for the luggage to be sent to the room so you just go up to the room when you’re back after the day instead of collecting it at the counter. Will come back again!
Had a lovely stay here. Room was comfortable, spacious and quiet (didn't hear any noise from other rooms). The large lounge area with tea/coffee/hot water was a bonus too. Staff are helpful and brought us a portable heater to use when my partner was unwell. Location is perfect, right next to Daan station exit 6. Generally a quiet area but lots of nice places to eat nearby, including breakfast. Plus very easy to travel via MRT elsewhere.
Thankful that the front desk staff is very helpful, especially George! He is very professional and really friendly. Very lucky to meet him for our check in and check out. Appreciate his service :) We reach really early in the morning (9am) and the room is obviously not ready yet. George arranged a card for us to rest at level 2 (rest area with coffee machine and sofa)! There’s an outdoor garden too. Very very beautiful. My sister and I really enjoyed our 3 nights stay in the hotel. Even though the room is next to the lift, we still managed to sleep really well. It’s just that the pillow is abit soft. I also want to compliment the hair shampoo. It doesn’t come with conditioner but the shampoo made our hair so soft! A lot of times hotel shampoo always makes our hair very dry hahahahha! The body wash also smells really nice. The toilet comes with bathtub as well. But we only use the shower area. It’s abit old but everything works well! There is also complimentary bottled water in the fridge. Thank you for that! It’s also just next to Da A station (exit 6). It’s also near to a lot of food places. We actually walked back to the hotel from Taipei Dome (35-40min), it’s really nice to walk! Will pass by a lot of shops (GU & Uniqlo our favs) hahahha. I will definitely stay there again for my future visits!!!
I loved the triple single beds so no one had to share a bed. The room was very clean, modern looking, and very comfortable. The soundproofing was great, didn’t hear a single other guest. It wasn’t a huge room, but cozy and we were still able to open up 2 large suitcases and 2 carryons. We had a great view and could see the trains coming in. The location was steps away from the MRT station. We didn’t stay long enough to explore the immediate area, but I know I like the Da’an area in general.
I had a very pleasant stay at Park Hotel Taipei. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated that the hotel thoughtfully arranged a room close to the lift, which made things much more convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful—not just during check-in, but also when assisting with external services like Lalamove. Their attentiveness truly made my stay smoother and more comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone travelling alone!
For the budget, this is a great hotel conveniently located at an interchange station with accessibility to two train lines. Using the trains, you are about 10 mins from Taipei 101 and around 15 mins from Taipei Train Station. Local restaurants are around the area and several convenience stores are at the main junction with a Watsons nearby as well. Don't expect a lot of facilities - there's a Swenson restaurant at the lobby floor and that's about the key facility. Rooms are decent for the price and clean.
This was my third visit to Taipei and Park Taipei Hotel was the best-located hotel I've stayed in so far. Exit 6 of the Daan Metro Station and a bus stop a literally steps away from the hotel's front door making getting around the city so convenient. Numerous coffee shops, convenience stores, bakeries and restaurants were also close by so it was very easy to get what we needed. The rooms were spacious and adequately equipped. I especially liked that the floor was not carpeted (more hygienic in my opinion). The bathrooms have Japanese toilets and all the standard facilities. Room floors are accessible by guest keycard, which is great if you are concerned about security. Despite our room facing the street, there was no traffic noise coming through the glass windows. If there was anything I could change, I would've liked to have power outlets near the bed -- but this is a very minor thing and by no means a deal breaker. I will definitely stay here again.
I stayed in for 7 nights. The hotel is just a few steps from the Daan Station Exit 6, very convenient. Hotel room is clean and the personnel are friendly and helpful. Coming out from the hotel on the left there are a few local cafes and restaurants that you can get coffee, sandwiches, bagels and some local noodles and dishes. Further down there’s Starbucks. Shops like Family Mart, Cosmed and Watsons are not super close by but walking distance is fine, and because they are not so close by, the street is not crowded and quieter.
Park Taipei Hotel was a great choice to kick off our Taiwan trip. Located right next to Da’an MRT Station, it made getting around the city super easy. The neighborhood is pleasant and walkable, with plenty of shops, cafes, and local flavor nearby. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. While the hotel isn’t flashy, it’s efficient, well-maintained, and delivers solid value. If you're looking for a convenient, no-fuss stay in Taipei with easy transit access, Park Taipei is a smart pick.
Hotel location is great. Daan train station is just outside the door of the hotel lobby. While the facade of the hotel looks refreshed, the interior is a bit dated. We had a twin room for 2 girls, a bit small and cramp but clean. They can provide us with latex pillow so that is great for us above 40 years old. There are some noisy from the hotel air con which could not be switched off (we dun think it came from the room but rather along the corridor). Our friend staying on a higher floor experience similar noise. If you are light sleeper, then better no. If you dun mind the noise then great. They also clean the room once every 2 days but that is part of the local hotel regulations i think.
I would like to thank all staff for very pleasant stay during my travel in Taiwan. Hotel location is perfect which is just in front of subway station. Hotel including rooms are all very cleanly organized and maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The restranrant in the hotel serves American style food which should be comfortable for tourists from western counteries. It was very nice restaurant. Food was great. I wish I was able to enjoy Taiwanees food for breakfast though, still there are a lot of restraurants nearby the hotel. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I am confident that I can recommend others to stay.
The location for this hotel is super convenient to most travelers attractions . It’s located at the exit 6 of Daan station . The staff is very efficient to prepare the unit to check in . The duvet comforter is very comfy , even better than 5 star hotel . The pillow is kind of too low for me . Although it’s next to subway , but you can not hear any noise .
It was our first time in Taipei and it is honestly one of the best hotels we've been in. The staff is very friendly and exceptional at the jobs they do, including keeping up maintenance for hotel room and cleanliness. I was also surprised regarding their lounge. It's spacious, not much people and includes complimentary coffee and tea. If I didn't take a VL for this trip, it would be perfect for working.
This is my third time staying in this hotel. This time i stayed for 6 nights with my daughter. love the location of the hotel so much, in front of the hotel is Daan station exit 6. Easy to commute either by MRt or Bus or walking :) surrounding are also a lot of mini market, restaurants, breakfast cafe :). Our room are cleaned everyday. But little interaction with the front staff :) a little warm improvement in the interaction with staying guest will be appreciated.
Right next to Exit 6 of Daian Station, it was convenient to move around in the scorching sun or rain. *Please note that if you arrive from Matsuyama Airport, there's a distance to Exit 6 since it is on the ground level. The room was spacious, well-organized, and comfortable. Recently, amenities are not provided, but there was body soap and hand soap. I was satisfied with the other facilities as well. I will consider it as a candidate for my next stay. However, there was one thing that worried me. Perhaps it was only in the room I used this time? The foot of the door leading from the bathroom to the room is made of stone, so depending on how you place your feet, it can be slippery (especially when wearing the room's slippers). I felt like I slipped several times during my stay, which made me wonder if it had never been an issue before. There is a convenience store and Starbucks nearby, and in the morning, you can buy delicious sandwiches and coffee in the neighboring building.
Location of hotel is outside of Exit 6 of Da'an station. Super convenient. Room is also very clean and spacious. Kudos to housekeeping that make up the room everyday aft a long day out, it feels nice to reach back hotel with a clean and comfortable room. Staff at reception ia nice when we asked for shower cap. Do rmb to bring your own toiletries as they will not provide in the room. Will definitely book this hotel again.
If travelling with young children, the train station exit with lift is at exit 3, else exit 6 is just right outside hotel. Exit 3 also got a nice bubble tea shop. There is a bus stop right outside hotel and more convenient to reach certain places compared to train. Can borrow umbrella from hotel if raining. No laundromat, if hand wash clothings, may take two days to dry. Baby cot have some stains at net area, more like playpen, so better off to book a king bed, then baby sleep together (can bring those little cocoon type). Fridge has no freezer compartment so it will be difficult to bring out expressed milk for long without ice pack. Food wise, about ten mins walk to famous yong he soya stall and one train station to Ling Jiang night market. Starbucks and family mart right next to hotel. Also, about ten minutes walk to orange shabu shabu (can make online reservation first). Airport transfer booking on other platforms such as klook will be cheaper than booking with hotel direct though no guarantee that driver and vehicle will be good as there are bound to be some not so good ones within a big company. Overall not bad a stay if want to stay somewhere quieter.
We chose this hotel mainly for its excellent location, and it didn’t disappoint in that regard. It’s right in the heart of the Da’an district, which has a lovely vibe. The hotel is very close to the MRT station, surrounded by plenty of eateries and convenience stores — a big plus for travelers. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Most of the staff didn’t greet us at all, and the overall attitude felt indifferent. However, we did appreciate the help from two friendlier staff members, Nancy and George, who assisted us with check-in, check-out, and fixing our room’s safe. One disappointing experience was with the concierge staff, who didn’t acknowledge us at all but enthusiastically greeted some Japanese guests nearby — the contrast was very obvious and off-putting. The room itself was generally okay, but cleanliness could be improved. There was a moldy smell in the bathroom when we first entered, and bottled water wasn’t replenished until we requested it. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff we encountered were friendly and polite. The hotel arranged airport transportation for us at a reasonable surcharge. The vehicles were clean and comfortable, and the drivers were excellent — a highlight of our stay. Although the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, they partner with Swensen’s. We had dinner there on the night we arrived. The food was passable, but the service was very poor — staff were cold and unwelcoming. Overall, our stay was acceptable thanks to the convenient location and a few helpful staff members. But if you value warm service and attention to detail, this hotel might fall short of expectations.
Don’t hesitate to book here. This is a fantastic hotel in the best location. Literally steps from the red and brown line MRT. Easy to get anywhere in the city. Well designed and beautiful big room and bathroom. Very clean room and common areas. Only exceptions are small main floor carpeted area could use more vacuuming and white walls on the bottom have luggage scuffmarks. Wonderful responsive staff is so helpful with everything we ask and very fast response time. Worth it to upgrade to Taipei 101 view. Room is extremely quiet with floor to ceiling window. (Just know that there is No access to outside balconies in this hotel). We’ve stayed here twice on this trip (when we returned to Taipei) and will definitely stay here again on our next trip.
This is my second time using this. It's a bit more expensive than the surrounding hotels, but the distance from the train station exit and the proximity to a convenience store make it appealing. On weekday mornings, the delicious coffee stand and sandwich shop right next door attract me back. The room with a view of 101 is very nice, with a sight of the iconic building beyond the clutter of Taipei's streets. The cleaning is done properly, and I am satisfied. The only thing I notice every time is that the check-in is crowded. The way to line up is not properly indicated, leading to people cutting in line, and local tour guides being pushy... this can be exhausting. It reduces my excitement for the upcoming enjoyment.
For the price I paid per night, and from the images, the hotel was not what I expected it to be. It is an older and smaller hotel. I got the Taipei 101 room view, which I got what I paid for BUT you could not go out to the patio as it is shared with the next room. Also, my room was at a corner where the room to my right was at an angle where they protruded out which means they could look into my room. This meant that I had to have the blinds closed majority of the time so the neighbors can't see me.... So much for paying for the view (Room 1110) On top of that, the room had a flickering headboard light, the refrigerator was not cold at all (we had yoghurt drinks that were room temp after being in there so we had to throw it out), no closet space, poor design of the sink (spout was so close to the edge that you had to press your hand to the edge of sink to wash your hand), and not the best smelling shower room (perhaps from the dirty grout). We did not report any of the issues as we were only there for 2 nights. The staff were really lovely though. We did report the kettle not working & they sent us a replacement. The perks were that the room was spacious, so we could put our luggages on the floor in replacement of not having closet space. The best part is the location. Truly prime location to a lot of key spots that are just a couple of stops away! Very walkable if you're someone who enjoys walking the distance and exploring. Would consider coming back just for this feature (unless I find a better alternative). Note that all the outlets are not the taiwan outlets, so our adapters did not work. We were not prepared as we only brought our cables without the orginal plugs. However, the hotel was able to provide some.

“Very satisfying home away home”
Made me feel at home with their every greetings. What more can you ask for?
