My girlfriends and I stayed at the Lotte Jeju Hotel for a "girls weekend" in Jeju and had an absolutely lovely time. Our room had super comfortable beds, a great view, and was within walking distance to a beach where there was a private beach lounge. The only downsides I can think of is that there isn't much to do around the hotel aside from a few (very delicious) restaurants and the beach. If you're looking for a happening bar scene, this isn't the right place to go. However, if you're just looking for a relaxing time in a luxurious hotel, the Lotte Jeju Hotel is perfect!

if you like pool party, it's a great place to stay (the party ends around 9:30 pm), won't affect in-house guests. staff is very helpful, recommended us to a restaurant located near the hotel, where we have tasted great heuk-doe-ji (black pork), it was really delicious, a bit expensive though. location is 1 hour away from downtown of Jeju island, but if your purpose of going to Jeju is for vacation and relaxation, I highly recommend you this hotel for stay.

We stayed in two superior rooms in the main building (mountain view), one on the 4th floor and one on the 6th floor. As a reference the 7th floor is the top floor, the lobby is on 5th, the restaurants on 3rd and Spa/Fitness/Playrooms are on 1st floor. As we had notified the hotel in advance that our wedding anniversary was the first day of our stay, there was a celebration cake complete with candles and knife waiting for us in both rooms actually (you see my mother-in-law and my father were travelling with us so we needed two separate rooms). There was also complimentary chocolate and mineral water. The only downside was the check-in procedure which they messed up. They asked us to take a seat and gave us some refreshments, but then completely forgot all about us. We had to remind them that we were waiting to check-in and only then did they ask for our name. Then it took another 20 minutes before we got our rooms. Apparently they were over booked as we had called the reception a few days earlier and confirmed one twin and one double (both non-smoking). We were given two twin rooms, and the one on the 4th floor was a smoking room. Normally, I would complained but I was too tired to discuss with the staff at that time. I thought I could always do it the next day as we were staying two nights. Earlier that day we had drove all the way from Jeju Island's east coast, climbing Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, walking along Seopjikoji, feeding animals and picking mandarins from trees at a local orchard, visiting Cheonjiyeon Falls.. We were all tired and hungry, and given the fact that we were travelling with a 3-year old and a 6-months old baby, all we wanted at the moment was to rest and get some dinner. We could always deal with the smoking room later, even though the smell was obvious. HOWEVER, given the fact that everything else was pretty much perfect I'm sure the hotel would have upgraded our room to either ocean view or a more luxiorious room if we had complained

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Wonderful breakfast. I arrived the hotel in the evening, around 9pm, and I have informed that I will be having a late check-in. The evening receptionist (lady) speaks wonderful english and is fluent. When I arrived at the airport, the money exchange stalls are ALL closed. One must take note of this when arriving at night. So obviously I only have USD. But went to the tourist information and they called up the hotel for help. I spoke with the female receptionist and got to know that taxi fare will not exceed 5000 won. Luckily i have enough to pay for the taxi :) Bus stop is not very far but u have to walk for about 7 minutes or so. I love to walk to so no issue for me. Station is Dohodong station. Take Bus 26 or 502 to go to the Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal. From there you can go to many sights around Jeju. I did not join any tours and just used the buses around Jeju. But if you want to join, there is one that picks up passengers who join the tour at the hotel. They pickup directly from there and take you back to the hotel as well. Will try this next time I go to Jeju. Location is not that bad. U have to walk a couple of blocks to go to the shopping areas, but it is not very far. You can take the bus though but I chose to walk since the weather is cool. Duty free shops also there. It is a safe location with a few 7-11s and other convenience shops. But make sure you know a little Korean (or Mandarin) as english is not very well spoken by the locals. Staff is quite helpful. As for the rooms, it is clean. I chose not to have my room cleaned daily, hence I put out the Do not disturb sign outside my door. I saw a small blood(?) stain on my sheet though, but it did not bother me. Room is spacious and good enough for me.

Room is big & spacious, clean, good view. Walking distance to Dongmun market, black pork restaurant street, seafood restaurant street. Front desk staff polite & helpful. Long & fine walkway near the beach (in front of hotel). Recommended hotel in Jeju!!

1 day stay seemd not enough, I should have arranged 2 days at least. I decided to book this hotel 1 day before my arrival to Jeju, and I booked Superior Double Ocean View (High Floor)， It looks exactly what is shown on pictures!! Very awesome!!! But it was not easy to go there. I took buses, need to transfer, bus No. 500 and No.10. I guess it will take at least 20,000-30,000 KRW by taxi. And the receptionists are all very nice, the second day when I checked out and went to downtown, they helped me call taxi and told the taxi driver where I was going. (It spent me 17500 KRW from hotel to Shilla Duty Free). Anyway, if I go to Jeju again , I will choose Golden Tulip again definitely.

The Howard Johnson was perfect for our trip to Jeju Island. Many reviews say to stay in Seogwipo-si if you’re on the island for multiple days but we opted to stay in Jeju-si for 4 days and 3 nights. The Howard Johnson is incredibly close to the airport and easy to get to via bus (download the Kakao app to get up-to-date bus information, Korea’s google maps essentially). The HJ is located in the new downtown area with many restaurants and the Lotte duty free mall within walking distance. The old downtown with Dongmun market is a short bus ride away. We took a day trip to Seogwipo, saw the main sites. While Seogwipo was beautiful, we found much more things to do in Jeju around the HJ. In terms of facilities, it is a newer hotel so everything looks new. The bed was comfortable and you can control your own AC. The TV was also a sleek newer LED LG TV. The hotel doesn’t have a gym or a pool, however, so plan for that. All around, great value and would stay again.

Wanted to stay at a quieter place away from Jeju city, but not too far away from the airport either. This is a new hotel, so gave it a try. Booked a deluxe room (double + single beds) with sea views. Room was located at a higher floor. It was spacious and the amenities were very new. Location wise, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the city. However we didn't use it. Took a taxi whenever we wanted to go to the city, cost around SGD8-10 per trip. Most of the reception staff understood and spoke minimal English (only met 1 or 2 whom could speak really well). However, it would help if you could try to speak slower and do some research beforehand on the places that you wanted to visit. Despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful towards understanding my requests and helped to act as a translator between the taxi driver and us. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was an optional add-on. Quite expensive though the food quality was not bad. Limited dining options around the hotel. There is a fast food chain outlet (Lotteria) around 8mins walk away from the hotel. A fried chicken chain outlet (Nene chicken) just beside the hotel. A few convenience stores also located within walking distance from the hotel.

I have booked a 2 bedroom suite in Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel, which is spacious enough to fit in 4/5adults. The room has a great ocean view! Quiet but yet accessible to many places of interests, alot of restaurants are nearby as well, be it local seafood, grilled meat, stew & rice and so on. There is also a great bakery just behind the hotel called 'A Factory', a great start for the day and a great end for the day as well, if you are sicked with local food, try the western food on the 2nd floor of the bakery. Ocean Suites Jeju Hotel also provide a free secured carpark lot for its hotel guest. Therefore, for tourists who rent their own cars to travel around Jeju island, this will not be a worry at no additionl cost as well.

The Room is clean and spacious. It just take about 1 hr 15 mins drive from the Jeju City. There are some restaurants nearby. If you looking for a place to stay at East Coast of Jeju, You may consider to pick this hotel ^_^.

I WOULD LIKE TO HIGHLIGHT THAT THE HOTEL ROOM IS BIG AND HAD SUFFICIENT CARPARK SPACE FOR EVERYONE. THOUGH THE LOCATION LOOKS QUITE BUT I BELIEVED JEJU REQUIRES US TO DRIVE HENCE I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO MY FRIENDS. THE STAFF ALSO DID WELL IN CLEANING UP OUR ROOM EACH DAY. I HAD ENJOYED MY STAY AT THE HOTEL. THANK YOU!

Staff very helpful, they will call up tour agencies and taxi services on your behalf to book for you. Location is brilliant. Food & shopping all within walking distance. The Catholic Cathedral is just behind the hotel about 5 mins walk. Jeju Folk museum and shrine 20 mins walk. Jeju pier 15 mins walk. Dongnum Market 15 mins walk. Jeju National Museum and Songnam Peak 30 mins walk. Yongduan rock 20 mins walk. The YEHA tour and other tours pick up and drop off in front of the hotel. We spent 7 nights here and loved it.

Stayed a few days at Haevichi. It is slightly tucked away but the distance wasn't really a problem for us. The room is very new and spacious. Very comfortable overall and amenities were similar to that of a business hotel. They had a special log cake for us when we checked in (it was near Christmas). The hotel itself is lovely as well. There is a convenience store, a entertainment centre (arcade games), a few restaurants and a spacious lobby area. The buffet at the main restaurant had a good spread whilst the Asian restaurant we tried was good as well. As it was winter, we were unable to stay at the outdoor compound for long but they seemed to have a nice outdoor pool with a nice big lawn. They also had an indoor pool and gym (both of which we didnt use but the pool and gym were popular with hotel guests during our stay there). It was very near the sea which I think should make it even nicer in the warmer seasons? It was also near and very walkable to a row of restaurants along the street if you do not want to eat at the restaurant. Overall, it is like a business hotel but set in Jeju - spacious, big, modern. It is not overrun with other guests which makes it pleasant as well. I hadnt really tried other Jeju hotels but Haevichi is nice enough that I would stay there again if I return to Jeju.

We booked hotel for 6 person for 1 day. It was easy to locate using the GPS system of our rental car. The parking attendant is very helpful guiding us in parking in the hotel. There is sufficient parking lot as well as there is a lift for car. Location of hotel is good as it is surrounded with convenience shops and many eateries around. We did not tried the hotel food so no comment. There is kitchen in the room. Very spacious. I would recommend friends to stay in this hotel when they visit jeju. Areas of improvement: For one of the room, only 1 set of bath robe was provided. 1 hand towel is slight dirty.

Best Value - 3 bedrooms Well-furnished, Clean Best Service - Second time staying, this time my washing machine had some problems at 10.30pm, contacted the concierge team and within 5 minutes, the servicemen arrived to fixed it. Will definitely stay here everytime I come to Jeju.

Great hotel with clean room and ensuite bathroom. They do offer FREE scheduled shutter to airport from hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful too.

If you not driving a car and mainly commuting by taxi, this hotel is the most recommended hotel in Jeju. Don't take a risk to get cheaper, yet hidden hotels, otherwise you will be taken around and around the streets, ended up paying more for taxi. FYI, taxi and public transportations are so difficult to get from the attraction sites in Jeju. Taxi fee from Lotte City hotel to Jungmun Resort/Seongsan Ilchulbong +/- 30K won, to airport +/- 5K won.

I booked for a superior double room. The room was superbly clean but a little small for 2 ladies with 2 large luggage because there wasn't luggage storage space. I expected a bigger room for this price in Jeju. There was a build-in kitchenette but no tableware provided except cups. We had no trouble getting to the hotel as we rented a car while we were in Jeju. There were many local restaurants nearby and a GS25 just opposite the hotel.

look no further when you are choosing for hotel in jeju. this hotel is a mere 5 mins drive from the jeju airport. it cost us above krw from the hotel to the jeju airport. this hotel is centrally located in the heart of the city where all the restaurants and shops are within walkiing distance yet the price is cheap as opposed to those hotel in the southern part of the island e.g lotte hotel. i particularly like the spacious room and the comfy duet especially during this winter time. if you need any information about the transportation or atrraction, just ask mr. eu or mr. kim at the reception and they will give you the info you need. they speak good english. overall, i am so glad that i made the decision to stay here and i will definitely come back to goodstay december hotel when i come to jeju island again!

There are convience stores in the Ramada West just across the street from Ramada East, and a delightful bakery ( Take Urban Jeju Terrace ) in the Ramada Encore East. Our bed was hard coming from a Western bed that is what we would call incredibly hard, but no where near as plank-like as most Korean beds are. Housekeeping came every day to give us water and change out our waste bins, and give us fresh towels. We requested to not have our bedlinens or anything else done. The room was very clean when we came in, no lingering smells of past travelers could be detected. The water pressure is great, the hot water more than warm enough. The gym is small, but the washers and dryers are large and only 3,000W per load which is quite cheap. There is a park and a group of restaurants directly outside and to the right of the hotel across the street. Very good choice of foods though most do not open for dinner until 6pm.

This hotel has a lot of potential - I can see where the developers want to take the hotel. It's not where it should be, maybe because Aewol is a rather quiet area in Jeju..? I don't know. But what I do know is that I liked the hotel because 1) the area is quiet 2) our room had sea view and had morning sun 3) the room is SPACIOUS. Seriously. 4) really comfy bed 5) nice sofa 6) spacious bathroom 7) really helpful front desk staff 8) the bulgogi at breakfast is YUMS 9) the pool is huge (note that this is prob avail only during summer and early autumn) 10)fast internet 11) English TV channels 12) half an hour drive to airport. Not too bad 13) the convenience store is a short drive away. won't go hungry! All said, I think this hotel has potential to do well. I'd probably go back for a quiet retreat if they don't increase prices...!

We stayed in 4 hotels in Jeju, and Days Hotel was the best overall winner. The room was spacious and amenities were relatively sufficient (coffee, shower cap, comb etc). Parking was effortless since it's assisted by attendants. Location is great near Olle Market. However, the hotel is strict about checking-in at 3pm (not even 5 mins earlier!), so if you're driving and can plan your time, don't bother coming early.

It feels really good staying in Shilla Stay Jeju. Hotel itself is very classy and the rooms are comfortable. The staff there is quite friendly but their profound of English is not strong, so there are a number of times they do not understand what we are actually enquiring. But overall experience was awesome. I will definitely stay here again if i were to visit Jeju the next time.

Very calm and picturesque location. The main pool is not well maintained and not heated at all. Also as it is in front of the hotel restaurant everyone including outside visitors is watching. It was lovely to use our jacuzzi which is on the private patio after a long day of exploring, Jeju Island. Breakfast was very basic and cold. The only positive about this hotel is its location, facing the sea, amazing view and fresh air.

Value for the money. Large hostel type of accomodation near the beach road on the north of Jeju. Friendly staff and the facility has convenient store inside the property.

I travelled with a friend (we're both in our 20s) and both of us are beyond satisfied with our stay at M-Stay Hotel Jeju. Our room was very spacious and clean, and there was daily housekeeping too. These, along with the impeccable service rendered by the staff - from the front desk to the valet parking staff, made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend M-Stay Hotel Jeju as the accommodation of choice in Jeju!

Our stay at Ocean Palace hotel was awesome! We will definitely introduce this hotel for those who going to travel to Jeju. The hotel location is nice, walking distance to several restaurant (we found a nice BBQ restaurant there). Also, there is 1 coffee shop and 7-11 convenient store at the hotel lobby, I was super happy with it. Beside, the hotel room is so new, so big that it came with a little dining area, the air-con and tv are nice too! We stay 4 different hotel in Jeju, Ocean Palace is the only hotel that satisfied our stay! Thumb up!

This hotel is rated 4 star by Agoda but we found the room a bit narrow compared to other 4 star hotels in Jeju Island. Bed is comfortable to sleep on. Nice tiny balcony but not much view. Smell a bit mouldy in the wardrobe cuz no ventilation at all when door is closed. A lot of local restaurants near the hotel. A Daiso is just around the corner. Pretty good location.

The room was clean and all the staff was kind. But they charged for everything and it was quite expensive. I guess this is the reason why the accommodation price was rather cheap than other five star hotels in Jeju. Make sure to download their App before visit.
