Outstanding resort whee I was constantly delighted. Great facility, great food at Paper Crane. My only negative was some of the staff at Paper Crane were a little blunt. But will definitely be back!

Beautiful clean room, super comfortable with everything you need. Friendly attentive staff. Great restaurant options and a beautiful lagoon pool and spa to relax in ! We had a fantastic time and we will be back !

There are quite a lot hotels to choose in Cairns but we chose this one because of its modern design and decoration. We observed many tourists coming to the bar on the tower and/or taking photos of the outdoor swimming pool of the hotel. We are glad that we did not select other high-end but old and out-of-date hotels. A minor thing is that the hotel will charge AUD50 deposit upon check-in and I hope it could be refunded sooner after check-out.

Grateful that our room was upgraded to the tower room. The view from the room was so great - I hoped I could stay for a longer time. There is a bar on the top of tower but please check the dress code before going there. Breakfast at Greenfields on the ground floor was also good with reasonable price. Room service was impressive and convenient. Please do check the IPad in the room as it offers not only room service but also flight check-in, highlights of Cairns, etc. The hotel is only 10min drive from the Cairns airport (Uber or cab may charge AUD16-20), 6min walk to the Night Market / DFS / supermarket / harbour-side restaurants, 16min walk to Reef Fleet Terminal / Cairns train station, and 15min drive to the Skyrail cableway. There are quite a lot hotels to choose in Cairns but we chose this one because of its modern design and decoration. Breakfast was poor , needs to improve, not many varieties. Cleaning of the room should be done properly not just make up the bed, empty rubbish bins , plus some days at 3 o’clock room was still not ready . Very good location though, close to everything

Great birthday weekend”

Came here to stay for 34th Birthday and wow what a beautiful hotel. So ahead of other hotels clean modern and designer. Got to room with a happy birthday cake which was lovely. The roof top bar wasn't too fussed with my friends and I were ignored for 10 minutes to order drinks and 3 men were served before us before I said something. Very similar to Greenfield downstairs but we are somewhere else for breakfast. But we all loved paper crane food was amazing and staff were lovely there. Definetly would stay again. Felt very spoilt and great location

We stayed 3 nights in Riley a Crystalbrook Collection Resort at Cairns, the hotel is new with sea view and good facilities however the service is a bit disappointing. ipad provided in the room mentioned there is yoga class on Friday 6:30am, I called front desk on Thur to check if a reservation is needed, the staff says no then hang up without reconfirming me the most updated time and day which should be Sat not Friday. So, I went there 6:30 Friday morning and found no body at pool deck for yoga class!!!!! I called front desk again and know that the ipad is not updated with the latest class schedule!!!! The other time I called front desk had similar experience, piecemeal info were given and they seems too rush to hang up. The service we have here is definitely not the standard as I expected.

The Riley in Cairns is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Location facilities and food excellent. Staff exceptionally well trained polite and helpful.

Beautiful Resort”

The Riley is absolutely gorgeous. The pool area, rooms, lobby, everything screams paradise. It's centrally located on the esplanade with many sites only a walk, bike, or drive away. The Riley also has free bikes for your use!

Highly recommended! The girl taking my check in must have been new. I was charged twice, however a call to reception and it was sorted straight away! Amazing!

Room was lovely overlooking the pool with afternoon sun on our balcony. Friendly, ehlpful staff, Papercrane resturant was delicious, the bar at the top of the tower had great views. All in all we really enjoyed our 5 night stay. Thanks guys, can't wait to bring the family back soon x

Weekend away”

We decided to get away from the cold in Sydney and went to cairns for the weekend, I was recommended by a friend to stay at Riley, super nice hotel, big bathroom everything was amazing, but I noticed that non staying guest just jump in and use the facilities, which I dislike, after we as a guest spent money on the stay anyone could just get in freely and use the pool chairs and when u go to find any there’s non available, saw security guard allowing people and nobody seem to care, at one stage one lady with her husband had a feast of Asian smelly food on a doggy bag and I watched and head them how to get a chair and use the facilities without paying anything
