Nice rooms and location, lacking in other areas”
I stayed in Nyhavn 71 for 5 nights and had chosen this hotel as we had heard they had recently renovated. Price was a bit above other hotels in the area, but we did not mind. We booked a room with a view, and the rooms was very nice with no issues there. However what we did not like was that there was no mentioning of a gym (which at check-out it turned out they had in another hotel 500m away), there was a day where for several hours the TV did not work (in all rooms). The worst for us was however when we had been out all day and came back around 16:00 to change for dinner. At this same time was when the cleaner knocked our door. We were already surpirsed the room had not been cleaned by late afternoon, but worse was when I asked her to give us an hour and she replied that she would be off in an hour. I told her we had been out all day and needed to shower and change, so she suggested to leave som towels for us. We of course compained in recenption where they said the same, there is no staff to clean you room. Paying almost 200 GBP per night this would be expected of course. So we had to then argu with reception to just have our room cleaned and in the end the receptionist told us she would do it herself. As a guest you do not want to have arguments like this. Upon checking out I mentioned these things and we were given back 1 night free stay, which was a very nice gesture. It was not the reason fo rthe complaints, actually we would by far have preferred that we didnt have an akward situation everytime we went to reception. However a nice gesture... The restaurant and bar we did not try, the bar does not look very cosy and inviting and e had to walk throgh to access the elevator - so not really where we would invite our friends for drinks, but I cannot say anything about teh quality. Next time we will go back to Skt. Petri or try SP34

Clean, Convenient, Comfort
The location of 71 Nyhavyn Hotel is really central and convenient. There are also many eateries, great cafes and restaurants found within 100 to 400 meters from the hotel. The lake and shopping district is also an easy walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean and decent.Just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel you’ll discover the famous Amalienborg Palace, Kongens Nytorv and Strøget. Also nearby is Nyhavn, Copenhagen's port pearl, which stretches from Kongens Nytorv Square and all the way along the canal. Here you find a lot of interesting small restaurants, historic buildings and a museum and veteran ship port. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Copenhagin for work or leisure.

Hotel with a great location”
Location, historic building, water views
Charming small hotel occupying a historic building and located in the center of Copenhagen, just on the harbor and in a short walk from the Royal Palace. Hotel serves a reasonable breakfast. Also, there are lots of good restaurants located nearby if you choose to go out for dinner. Hotel's building is stylish, clean and small but reasonably comfortable rooms. Some of them have water views! Bathroom was a bit too basic. However will stay there again just because of the great location and lots of history around

The hotel is located in the old town and was near many of the major attractions. We were able to walk straight out of the room and we were amongst the history of Copenhagen. Canals, palaces, shopping and dining were all on our doorstep making it an easy and pleasant stay.

City centre .
We were given a small room overlooking a construction site, with no air conditioning in 30 degrees Celsius weather. Upgraded us for 400 danish croners per night. No harbour view with this! Feel as if it is a scam to make clients pay more!

Efficient, Friendly, Good service.
I really enjoyed the location, the atmosphere , the staff who were very friendly and efficient and rooms which while mine was fairly basic had a good bed and internet access. I think if you paid more money you had a much better room. But value for money I found it a great hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was easy to access.

Good, Bad and the Ugly, all in one package :)”
Location, Location, Location
Mixed feeling with this particular hotel. Still checking with the bank. My usual experience with Agoda is that Im charged almost immediately after my booking is made. In this particular instance I was told that payment was not made and they had to charge my credit card. (still investigating if this was a double charging scenario) But what I didn't like was the staff was not EXACTLY "Nice" diplomatically. So that was the UGLY. The BAD ... only one single lift which moves veeeerrry sloooowly :). The GOOD, very tastefully rooms and really brings out a old Danish Warehouse feel.

Very nice hotel in perfect surroundings”
Nice rooms, optimal service, short distance to restaurants and shopping
This hotel at the harbour of Nyhavn is georgraphically an excellent starting point for exploration of Copenhagen. It is convenient that the shopping area and nice restaurants are in the neighbourhood. The rooms are clean, and the staff is very friendly. I had an ocean-view room, which was very nice.

romantic hotel on the canal”
location, nice staff
This converted warehouse has a good deal of charm, though a little bit shabby. The location makes it worth a little inconvenience. The rooms vary greatly and some are very small. If you can get a room in the old section with a view of the harbor, it can be very charming. Some of the rooms are small duplexes that for all their charm are difficult to handle if you have a lot of baggage.

Great location
Possibly the best location to stay whilst in Copenhagen. Right at the end of the Nyhavn waterfront, quiet place with little traffic yet having all its restaurants nearby makes the restaurant a premium choice for a stay in Copenhagen - business or couples.

Great Location, helpful staff but small rooms”
location, staff, comfy bed
71 Nyhavn is in a great location within a train ride of the airport. The reception staff are very helpful and although there was quite a queue at check-in on the Thursday afternoon when we arrived this was very swiftly dealt with. The bedroom was small with very little room to move around the bed but everything fits in, flat screen TV & a fridge and small wardrobe space & shelves. I'm not sure where you would a case bigger than the standard airplane cabin baggage. The bathroom is tiny but clean with everything that you need. We also ate in the hotel restaurant one evening which though expensive was different & tasty though the staff in the restaurant did take themselves very seriously which made us giggle

Gorgeous wooden beams, comfortable beds, characterful hotel
Even the larger rooms are a bit small (typically Scandinavian)
The perfect romantic hotel in the centre of the prettiest part of Copenhagen. This hotel is a perfect getaway location with quirky character to the rooms and very comfy, big (by Scandinavian standards) beds. Fabulous stay!

71 Nyhavn is a charming hotel in a renovated warehouse overlooking the canal with great views. It is near the docks where cruise ships board and is ideal for those going on a cruise. We had a junior suite, room 202, in the old building and it was perfect. the location is excellent and you reallly get a feel for beautiful Copenhagen.

Location, Location! ”
-The location: it is located in the Nyhavn district, close to all the important spots in the city -The service: The hotel has the friendliest staff. They were all very helpful and gave us great suggestions for dining and nightlife -Decor: I loved the lobby of the hotel, the decoration and the rustic feel to it. The rooms were nicely decorated as well.
-The only area that I did not like was the hotel bathroom, it was tiny! The shower was just an addition to the room so when we took showers, the whole floor was wet, to include the toilet area. Aside from that, the room was nice and cozy

An ok hotel in general ”
nice building good location close to all restaurants nice bar and breakfast room
rooms are rather small bathroom was dirty and old for my taste
in general i would recommend this hotel - i have tried many in copenhagen and hotel standard is just not so great for the money you pay. this hotel is very nicely located at the harbour where you find a lot of restaurants nearby. in summer it is even nices as there are several places to have dinner outside. it is close to the city center and the subway is also near. what i didn't like was the bathrooms as they are quit old and have not been renovated for quite some time - you are flooding the entire bathroom when having a shower. rooms are ok so far - a bit on the small side. when complaining about the dirty bathroom we were given a new room and they apologised very nicely for it. by the way nice staff.
