PERFECT Stay! Superb location and amenities!”
We had the chance to explore both Busan and Seoul and we could say that our stay at Almond Hotel in Busan was way better! We chose Almond Hotel because of its proximity to KTX train to Seoul. And we definitely made the right choice! The room was always kept clean and it sure is very spacious. although some areas of the hotel was smelly (but something we could ignore). We stayed at the VIP Twin room w/c accommodates 3 people. The bathroom amenities are topnotch! Besides the normal free bottle of water, they also provide free drinks (juice, soda, coke). If your water bottle ran out of water, you can refill it at the 1st floor near the entrance to the parking area. There's also a microwave oven just beside this refilling station, which is free for use. Breakfast is just enough to make you full and it's affordable too for only 5000 won. The hotel is very close (2-3 minutes walk) to the Busan Station (KTX and Metro Subway). I just realized that they're 2 separate stations. There's a nearby restaurant at the hotel called Namjang (front left side of hotel) where you can try fresh seafood. The owner is still open late at night and her assistant speaks great English. Both of them are very nice people and accommodating! In front of Busan KTX Station is Chinatown, where there are many pubs and night clubs. Someone told us it's not safe to walk around that area late at night so keep that in mind. There are a lot of money changers also in Chinatown but know that most shops closed at around 8 or 9 pm. We were able to score a good dollar-won rate at the money changer just beside (right) the Kamustahan Restaurant (24/7 Filipino resto). There's also a supermarket around Chinatown (Top Mart). Another unique Korean experience would be trying out pojangmacha's at the back of Almond Hotel (accessible thru the parking lot) where you can buy kimbap, drink soju (just like in the dramas ^^), or eat samgyupsal or kimchi jigae. Meanwhile, on the left side of Busan Station is Hotel Arira
Convenient, Spacious, Tidy Hotel”
From Busan Train Station walk to hotel within 5mins. (1 min walking distance to the Toyoko Inn Busan Station, this building face to Busan Train Station at left hand side) Hotel downstair have cafe, convenient store, pub, restaurants. A lot of nice food in Busan and you must try it. Small shop which open by Ajuma(Aunty), food more nicer than restaurant. Recommended. You can walk around to find at every corner around the hotel. Hotel breakfast taste good even though everyday is same dishes. Almond hotel consider new, the facilities ok just do not have make up table. Toilet quite big, but pls do not use the bathtubs(made by tiles) cannot be use, it is too slippery. Highly recommended this hotel with reasonable price.
Almond Hotel Busan is just 2minutes away by walking from the Busan Station. It is highly accessible and is surrounded by restaurants and 24-hour convenience stores. The room that we stayed in was clean very comfortable and elegant. As well as the hallways. The TV inside the room was large. Approximately 55 inches and is VOD capable. Our accommodation included free breakfast. I liked it on the first day, however, it is not a breakfast buffet. It is being served per plate which consists of, sausage, bacon, salad and scrambled egg. The menu is just the same each day that’s why on the third morning, I barely ate my breakfast. Even so, i still highly recommend this hotel.
The Almond is a great place to hang for a couple of nights in Busan due to its location - a 2 minute walk to Busan main station, ideal for day trippers to the various sites within a 1hr by bullet train from Busan. The metro is also just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean with all the amenities you need and the bathrooms are generous by Korean standards. Despite its proximity to the main railway station, the rooms are quiet and several 'marts' are within a few hundred metres for any last-minute needs. A good place to eat is actually along the street behind the hotel parallel to the train lines; it's lined with a dozen or so 'pop up' eateries where you can sit with friendly locals and order reasonably priced fresh Korean food at a reasonable price.
Almond hotel has an excellent location. Located just 5 mins away from the KTX station, Busan MRT station as well as the bus stop, it is very easy to travel to almost every attraction in Busan. The rooms are nice and quiet with quite powerful airconditioning. It is also worth mentioning that the TV remote is also the aircon and lighting remote. It would have been better if we were told this, as most of the words on the remote was in korean and we could not understand it. The tub provided was huge but it is a pity that the tub is placed in the bedroom and not in the bathroom with little privacy. Perhaps this kind of room is more suited for couples? Toilet design in the room was also unique as there was only one door to close either the shower room or the toilet. Hence, both the toilet and shower cannot be used simultaneously. However, the staff was friendly and the location was good. I feel that for the price paid, the hotel was quite nice and I will most probably stay in the hotel again when I return to Busan.
Enjoyable stay ”
Almond Hotel was situated near Busan KTX and subway stations, which makes it convenient for getting around. The Busan City Tour Bus stop is also situated right outside the KTX station, hence making it really near to the hotel too. Staff was friendly during check-in and out. However, they only provided one set of towel and toiletries even though we had two people staying in the room.
Very convenient ”
Almond Busan Hotel Station is conveniently located near Busan Station which is very handy and by walking distance should you wish to travel to places by metro/subway, train (KTX or ITX), bus, city tour busses, airport shuttles or taxis. The receptionist was very helpful and our room was readily available once we arrived at the premises (as per request when we first booked in). This is actually the second time I stayed at this hotel and I really enjoyed it.
Next to Busan Station( KTX & Metro )”
Almond Hotel is just a stone throw from Busan Stations ( KTX & Metro ). Though Staff at Check-In has difficulty with English, she tried her best and information were conveyed successfully. Rooms were awesome. Just exactly like what I saw during the Agoda Booking. Showers & toilets were impressive. Thumbs Up and strongly recommend Almond Hotel for any traveller who comes to Busan.
Love the location!”
Location is excellent. A very short walk to both Busan subway station and Busan KTX station. Busan's jumbo bus and BUTI bus is just around the corner. Very convenient! Room is comfy, super clean and just the right size for the 2 of us. Check in and check out was efficient and fast. Definitely, will return to Almond Hotel if we are in Busan again.
Best memory of my beloved city”
My husband and I visited Busan, my grandma's hometown I used to visit when I was little. We now live in NY and haven't been Busan for so long and unfortunately, my husband had food poisoning. Luckily we stayed in Almond hotel which was so amazingly convenient with local charm and chic & cozy interior, we decided to book one more night. So I had incredible time while my husband was enjoying the view and charm of the hotel. Will visit again Busan and stay there for sure!
If you come to Busan by KTX, use Exit 1, the hotel is at the same row with Toyoko Inn. We came to Busan by bus and arrived at Busan Nopo Bus Terminal, then we took metro to Busan Metro Station. It took us quite some time to find the hotel as we used Exit 1 when we came out from metro. (The Busan KTX station Exit 1 is different than Busan Metro Station Exit 1). From Busan Metro Station, look for the Exit that has written Toyoko Inn (I think is Exit 8), the hotel is at the same row with Toyoko Inn. Overall good stay, you can go everywhere from Busan Station by bus or metro. The Airport Limousine to Gimhae Airport is located nearby hotel, about 5 mins walk.
Very near to Busan Station. Friendly and helpful staffs. Spacious and nice room. Many restaurants and convenient stores around that area. Overall, the stay at Almond Hotel Busan Station was above expectation!
Great for couple”
This hotel is great for couples because of how the bathroom is arranged. If you are traveling with friends or family, depending on the room, it maybe awkward because of the frosted glass doors and shower layout; make sure you get a room that you'll be comfortable with. Hotel is very clean, good Wi-Fi, and has breakfast option. Very large room, modern look and feel, and friendly staff. Hotel's location is literally less then 5 mins walk away from KTX, Metro, city tour bus and bus station. Across the street from hotel, eastward, are food stalls. Across the street from the bus station an area for shopping, food and bars. 2 metro stations south is the BIFF square and fish market. However, if you want to visit Haedong Yonggungsa, it is about 1.5hrs away via public transport. My room either has an artificial almond smell or a chemical smell, which you may not like.
Good location, spacious room, friendly staff”
It's really a pleasant stay at Almond Hotel and the staff are very friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Just a 5 minute walk from Busan Station (both the intercity train station and subway) with a variety of food options to choose from nearby.
Value for money! convenient bear busan ktx”
Excellent stay at hotel almond. Location is good just 3mins walk to busan metro & ktx station. You can find many good foods near the hotel! all Room have different design & attach with bath tub. 24hrs coffee & hot water for guest near front desk at L1. The staff is not really friendly not sure is it due to language barriers. Definitely will be back to this hotel if I visit busan again!
Value for money”
Almond Hotel is probably less than 5 min walk from Busan KTX Station and approximately 5-7 min stroll to the nearest Busan subway station. There's a convenience store right at the opposite street which makes it convenient for getting late-night snacks.
Great hotel with excellent service next to Busan Station”
The best part of this hotel is its location, it is to the left of Busan Station (Exit 1). Super convenient, all the staff speak perfect English and very helpful. Lobby might not look much, but the room is excellent - uniquely decorated, spacious with great amenities, and our room comes with a spa bath. No view as we're on the lower floor, and no wardrobe just a hanging rack but it suited our needs as we were only there for 1 night. The hop on hop off bus tour is right in front of Busan station, the airport limousine bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. Overall, great value for money and will stay here again the next time we're in Busan.
Great location ”
Almond Hotel is in a great location within minutes walk to the KTX and Busan Station. Breakfast was not buffet but enough to start the day all staff are very friendly. There is a nice coffee shop next door and a convenient store one block down. Over all a great stay.
Very convenient 3-min from Busan KTX/station”
From Busan Station, you can see "Tokyo Inn hotel", Almond Hotel is just right behind. Very Convenient! Nice staff, clean and new and very spacious room. Only thing is the bathroom is not private at all... It's pretty inconvenient.... With its space they should've do private bathroom.
It was a great hotel”
I felt really warm and comfortable during stay at the Almond hotel. The luxurious room, the atmosphere, the lights, everything was perfect. If i come to Busan station again, i want to revisit.
