Hotel seem under staff, -expect to wait hours for beach/pool towers, -expect to wave at waiters to come and they will always forget things -expect super slow room service and hope you dont have any problem in your villa, (the staff will take life long to come) - expect not privided toothbrush, toothpaste and razorblade -the first villa has a three in front of it, so you cannot see anything, but overall the villa room is nice and up to Angsana Balaclava. The main problem is the staff, it seem missing, you can forget them from the room...I don't want to add more to the description...not worth my time

It’s just ok ”
It wasn’t a very pleasant stay. The pool looks very dirty. The room type is totally different from Agoda image. On Agoda the room has a private pool while I was told by the hotel it’s a wrong picture. Reception was warm welcoming but a bit pushing for extensions. The private beach ain’t nice, there are so many little sharp rocks in the sands. I’d say the breakfast is the best thing during my stay. Changed to four season after.

Staff service was delayed by close to 2 hours. A simple bottle of water took approximately 50 minutes to arrive. Staff was not accommodating at all. Wasn't informed regarding pre-ordering special breakfast menu. The room that we stayed in was wonderful though.
Past its prime”
The physical structure is very good, but isn't being maintained or operated well and the cracks (sometimes literally) are starting to show. It's a real shame, it could offer a wonderful experience with just a bit more TLC and a more proactive approach from the staff. One expects to pay a premium for food and drink, and some was good quality, but overall it felt like the prices were set to exploit the fact that guests had effectively no option but to eat at the hotel. In contrast, the hotel could make a lot from providing a regular drinks service to the beach, but this only happened once during our whole stay. Lastly, our room was not what we expected it to be when we arrived. The manager agreed to a discounted upgrade to a better room, which was on the face of it much nicer, but still had some significant problems that we would have been extremely dissatisfied with if we had paid full price: this included a mini-harram not up to the task and a pool with a potential safety issue.

Staff though very polite were not professional or skilled. quality of food was not becoming of a five star resort.

Lovely stay at the Angsana ”
The service was impeccable and the suite we stayed in was really cosy. The resort was beautifully designed and we had a luxurious and private time there just chilling and relaxing. The staff (Kiran and team) also kindly extended our check our time so we could further relax until late afternoon before catching our flight back. This was much appreciated

Everything in this hotel was good except the wasps nest between the rocks near the pools and stairs.”
The hotel is good specially the rooms with pool in front of the sea. Seeing the sunset on the bed is another story. The dinner in the room is very good and the food quality is amazing I believe they have professional chefs. But the thing I will never forget it in this hotel is the wasps in between the rocks near the pool. I couldn't relaxed at the pool as it seems I have swimmed near the wasps nest which was very dangerous I have requested to change the room but unfortunately after they upgrade me, the same issue still exist. A lot of wasps near my head when I was swimming. At the end I got sting by wasp in my foot after I was coming back from breakfast which is hurting me for some hours. Be careful if you are going to book a room there.

Not worth for the money we paid. We can best one for the expense. We are not happy. But one definitely have say coming to food, the first day it’s a 👎🏻 totally. But the next couple of days felt happy with the breakfast and dinner because of only the two ladies one is sureka and the other one renu, ThanQ you both of you dear.

I have to say the dinners were just fantastic!!Big love!Me and my friends stayed for five nights and the dinner was all different from each day,and they were all exceptional great!Room was big and comfortable. And the bed was easy to sleep.It was cleaned two times a day so it had to be well conditioned.The beach was alright with lots of shells and stuff that unrecognised.Overall, this hotel is one of my favourite and worthy money.
Very nice hotel. Room was amazing, only issue was that private pool had extremely cold water so was unusable. Hotel seems to try very hard with the food and it was presented well, but unfortunately it just didn't taste as good as it looked.
Lovely, Surreal, Incredible”
The smoothest check-in we have ever experienced. The breakfast included both a la carte & buffet which was amazing but nothing can compare to the dinner, the 5-course dinner every night, it was just impeccable. When you see the food presentation you might think, this might not be as delicious as it looks, but they exceeded my expectations without a doubt. The room - we stayed in Ocean View Villa with Private Pool & the view was stunning. The private pool didn't have a temperature control but that didn't stop me from soaking in almost every afternoon hahaha, the size was big compared to other 5-star-luxury hotels. I felt at home in this hotel, the manager along with his staff made us feel very comfortable and taken care of. You will definitely not regret staying in this hotel. Thank you Angsana Balaclava !
the room was lovely with the private pool and nice views from the balcony , nice clean beach and relaxed overall atmosphere. the restaurant can be better , the dinner service was slow, and it would be more entertaining if there were some activities or shows in the evening. the free water sport was nice although they refused to let us do snorkeling because we've never done it before , this was a surprise.

i stayed at angsana while on business but still got to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer. i had a spa suite so i got to enjoy a 90 minute spa treatment every day as part of the room rate. the room was very modern and the private pool on the balcony just topped it off. every night, the food on offer at the restaurant was amazing. better than some of the best restaurants here in melbourne!
