Pro's •rooms were clean and tidy •staff were friendly and helpful •sea view was perfect •breakfast was amazing Cons was very disappointed with the indoor pool facilty as we were unable to use it as there was a function booked for both our days stayed at the hotel ... I think it's very unfair that the indoor pool area can be booked and guests cannot use it ... the main reason I booked at blue waters was because of the indoor pool ... so very disappointed... I dont think that facilty should be booked out as it is very unfair on the hotel guests...

Not perfect but ok”
Restaurant not as good as expected as chips with steaks seems reheated and not fresh. Although not many people In the restaurant the service was slow to get an order and got it wrong anyway.

Extremely uncomfortable and dirty and definitely the Pricewise I will pay half or less ”
My family and I was attending a 5 day wedding celebration and we chose the blue water to be close to the beach and the venue We traveled from JHB to arrive only to find the air conditioning not to work and due to being late we where forced to dress in the absence of it as the technician took too long Was the greatest mistake Glad we decided to stay only for 1 night All the disappointments The smell in the room Bathroom no mirror Open plan bathroom (never a good idea with kids ) was very uncomfortable Floors still had cleaning residue was so slippery when wet and there was sand on the floor Beds had sand on them Air conditioner not working Would have preferred a duvet like the Hilton rather than that dog blanket Good Breakfast was great View was awesome

I stay quite often at this hotel. Each room needs to be equipped with up to date phone chargers (some rooms don't have) the air cons need to be updated. There is only "low" or "high" settings. The windows needs to cleaned on a regular basis. The rooms are clean but not super clean. If you move stuff like an ottoman you find dirt under it. The breakfast needs to be changed. It gets boring after a while. They should separate the vegetarians from the meats completely. Don't make waffles everyday. Introduce pancakes or flap Jack's... Just make breakfast much more interesting. Also they should cater for the kosher/ halaal / vegetarian eaters more... As you stay on the higher floors the reception of the TV is bad.... Overall its a good value for money hotel. Just needs a few improvements.

Overall an average stay in terms of value for money. Can get better accommodation along the golden mile for cheaper and better rooms. Breakfast was also average having the standard hotel breakfast menu.

Iron and ironing board should be provided to the guest for free, breakfast was outstanding and the waiters 100%. Cleaning staff big up. Network in our room was not working hope it will be fixed. But I will definitely recommend to anyone

Very dissapointed this trip”
Aircons not working in 2 different rooms - this has been the case for months now! Shower head sprouts water out in all directions above and below the head. No shower mat even though there is a sign up saying you can slip if you do not use the mat. Shocking maintenance - fire them and get people who know what they are doing. You are making yourselves a bad name. I have been coming to Blue Waters and Bellair for many years and the service at both places is definitely going backwards. Very sad.

the only thing i dont like is that they no longer allow guests to bring their own food, while their resturant is expensive now people are foreced to go and eat at food courts thats not on they need to fix it.

The friendly service of most of the staff at the hotel. The breakfast is amazing. Please separate the halaal from the non halaal products. It makes eating much more easier and clears the doubts we have as to the authenticity of products. Please keep the price for the rooms affordable at all times. The waiting period for the room to be cleaned is rather long. Overall the hotel is very pleasant. Make sure halaal and non halaal products are clearly marked and kept separate. It makes it easier for the muslim clients to consume. I am certain by doing that your guests will increase. Please keep room/accommodation affordable. Rather have the hotel full than empty with affordable and reasonable prices. I really would like to come back to the hotel.
