          Perfect for me”
Despite the awful reviews I read I stayed at this hotel once before. My room this time comprised of a double bed, en suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower (soap and towels). Tea and coffee facilities in the room plus a T.V. I needed somewhere safe to stay for just one night and, as I had stayed here before, I had no hesitation in booking a room here again. I am making regular visits to both Worcester and Birmingham ferrying grandchildren to and from universities so this hotel is perfect for me. Parking on site (no hassle). Money is limited so to find a lovely room (both times) plus free parking, at the end of a long journey, is all I ask for.

          Not bad....the car park however.....”
Overall first impressions were not good. However the rooms themselves where clean and comfort (although our bathroom sink would not empty) As a family,we booked 4 rooms and have stayed here once before with no problem. Unfortunately this time my daughters boyfriend had his car stolen from the car park, although this was not the hotels fault and the night staff where very helpful,it has certainly put us off staying here again. The car park itself is scruffy and full of rubbish. The next morning we found out another vehicle had been stolen that night too.,so some security ( other than cctv) wouldn’t go amiss.

the bed was full of hair. the bath tub was rusty which is not hygenic at all expecially with a young child. I was not able to give any hot food to my baby during my stay because there was not a microwave for customers to use. When I asked for the staff to warm it for me in their microwave she asked to fill a disclaimer which I refused because did not have time to do so since my baby was crying all over. I could not even use the kettle because it was dirty and the inner metal was rusted

          Out dated, tired hotel.”
It reminds me of old cheap hotels in Philippines. Metal key to get in to the room. Low security. My new towel must have dried in fish and chip shop as it reeked of fried food smell. The decor in the hotel is old . Random pictures of maps and portraits of unknown people in the corridor walls. The carpet was sruffy and marked. The toilet took 4 flushes to clear and the body wash/ shower gel was like fairy liquid diluted 100 to 1. There was no temperature control in the room. The bar served food up to 10pm which was good. However, the chicken fajitas I ordered were unbelievably salty and had me drinking water through the night. I opted not to go for the £10 breakfast the following morning. I walked a kilometer to a nearby Harvester instead. The view from the 2nd floor window that morning showed the garden full of trash. Absolutely dreadfully depressing, I wish I had photographed it to show everyone. This is another example of greedy owners running a large place with 5 or 6 staff.

Nice room( Jurys Inn clone ) ,TV,shower,tea/coffee,Noisy C/H. Good value at discounted price, less so the more you pay. Cooked buffet breakfast acceptable for price, but not great.Didn't try the Continental. Taxi from the station wouldn't be cheap the later it gets,it's a fair way out.

Our night was completely ruined. I booked a double room, on arrival, i was told that they had no double room available for me. On insisting that i should have been told in advance that there were no more double rooms available, i would have decided to look for alternative accommodation. The receptionist said it was a problem of the internet booking sites that continued to book and allocate people rooms that were not available. I was shocked to know that i could actually have booked a room that was not even available. To rub salt into the wound, the receptionist's told me to go and look elsewhere because that was all that they could do. This was now around 11pm. I decided not to torment my wife by looking for another hotel at that time of the night. As if that was all, I decided to take the twin bedded room. Alas! The horror of horrors! (I have pictures and a video) My wife set on one of the chairs, she almost fell. A clear safety hazard. The chair was not sturdy, loose on the joints - video available if needed. The twin beds were of different heights. So we couldn't make a double bed. The room was dirty, clearly not hoovered, the bathroom was dirty (Pictures available for proof). The ceiling paint is scaling off, it really was a pathetic unprofessional way of treating customers. Well done to the kitchen staff. At least their breakfast was decent, though the range of teas were limited. Clearly not their fault. I will never recommend anyone to this hotel, I will vigorously discourage anyone to use such a hotel.

It was quite a good stay. Only drawback is relyin on uber becomes difficult because it is on the ourskirts of coventry and closer to birmingham. So getting a can was hard. Breakfast choices were also less. A hotel withour hot chocolate?! But the minute drawbacks aside, cozy place for pple away from outside world.;)

I wouldn't recommend paying more then £30 for the hotel as its not worth more then that. Location is good. Hotel needs an upgrade staining on all the furniture . very old haunted style building. Not much security either when comes to the bedroom also going up to the bedroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel ,unless you really dislike someone and want to make them suffer miserbly for a couple of hours .

Front desk staff first of all could not even locate my booking despite having my voucher, did not even let me store my luggage near the lobby when I arrived early which I had to carry around all day until I was able to check in during late evening. When I finally got to my room, the carpet was very dirty with what appeared to be soil/mud stains across the floor.

The duty manager was very understanding and honest
We left the hotel after an hour due to the state of the rooms, when we drove into the car park it was very untidy and first impressions where spot on. At reception the girl was very pleasant and helpful thie staff we met where the only positives from this hotel. While going to our room we noticed the place was very dirty and tatty once in our room we were shocked that anyone would class this as a 3 star hotel. The net curtains were that dirty you couldn't see through them and one was hanging off the rail. The room was dirty and doubt if it had been cleaned for a while even found a empty half bootle of vodka sitting on the table, when we inspected the sheets they where covered in blood. When I complained to the reception they kindly gave me a key to a newly decorated room, I would ask the decorator for my money back. The duty manager transferred us to the hotel which on first impressions looked better but room was dirty and the breakfast was disgusting. I wouldn't stay in these rooms if it was free.

Clean bedding, warm room, hot water
After reading awful reviews I was dreading my stay here. A solo woman traveller, I did 2 nights here. Firstly the approach is a little drab, unkempt grounds, tired paintwork, entrance doors and car park are in poor condition, reception is rather dated but seems clean/warm and reception staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. The hallways, lifts and approach to room is a bit drab, old fashioned and not very inviting but once in my room (top floor as requested, due to reading about noisy A45 traffic) it was not as bad as I'd read it might be. It was clean, bedding was fresh, bed was really comfy and tea tray was adequate. Furniture is dated and in bad repair, tv is from the 70's and bathroom is very old fashioned and in pretty poor condition. The shower head was hanging down broken, towel rail remained cold and toilet was at a weird angle? Rust was evident around the bath and cracks were on tiles and around the sink. The old fashioned 80's aluminium windows bang and shudder ALL night!! Due to high winds on both nights I had to wear ear plugs on the 2nd night. On a plus side, other than the windows almost blowing in, the room was comfortable enough, quiet, dark (nice heavy dark brown curtains) well equipped (hairdryer was a normal one and not one attatched to a wall with a short lead and having to keep thumb on button!) staff were great, and when I reported the broken shower, broken remote control, broken towel rail and needing an extra blanket, the maintenance man was there within a few hours, ok, he only fixed the shower head, but that was the most important fix for me. I felt a bit like I was in the film 'the shining' (not really sure why??) I felt isolated, not particularly safe on 8th floor and was pleased to check out but still unsure why! Would I stay again? As prices are low, no... I wouldn't. It's a good location for A45 but the traffic noise is high and double glazing is very poor quality
