Incredible buffet breakfast at hotel next door. Rooms were large and relatively clean. Bathrooms could use some work. Staff friendly and helpful. Located near to main train station and Chinatown. Recommended

One big room. Really close to Bangkok station and Hua Lamphone MRT station. Can walk to China town. There is ATM next to this hotel. There are two seven eleven nearby.

Close to the train station”
Stayed one night so I could train it over to Chiang Mai! It was a convenient location, near the BTS station and 12goasia office as well! The room was basic and there was no common area, so it is not a place to meet people. They were nice enough to let us shower before the night train, lent us the towels and all. There's a pool but we didnt get a chance to use it.

Great home base for exploring Bangkok! Near the tram and in Chinatown area. Plenty of authentic street food and a lot of local shopping walking distance from hostel. Fantastic location for exploring authentic Bangkok. Stay included wonderful breakfast at hotel next door.

In construction ”
Great location if all you need is a place to chill our for a few hours or spend one night before catching your train ride. Station in literally across the avenue - 4 mins walk. During my stay the swimming pool was being renovated so there was much noise. Staff was understanding and moved me up a couple of floors which eliminated the noise. Note that bathrooms are clean but they are shared.

Okay for the Price”
Pros: We were allowed to have early check-in. The hostel has a swimming pool. Has elevator. Location is near Chinatown. Shared bathroom has nice smell, maybe from air freshener. Cons: Aircon is not centralized, so when you get out your room, if feels very hot. Weather is hot so as the water in the shower, its not nice to take a bath with water as hot as the weather. Far from attractions. The dining area is not so clean. Shared bathroom is not so clean.

Noisy room”
We were given 2 rooms at 5th floor. 502 and 503. In room 502 could hear a consistent noise coming from next door but I was unable to ascertain what is that. The noise is loud and clear, I was unable to sleep thru out the night because of this. Room 503 also can hear the noise but is slightly better.

The hotel is close to the MRT station and China Town. It is easy to travel and find delicious food in China Town . It has small swimming pool to enjoy swimming. Very good breakfast. How ever it is not a good choice for those who want to rest peacefully. Customers make noise at night and in the early morning. Air con. didn't work well. Cupboards were broken. Air can't flow well in the building and bad smell from the toilet.

No swimmingpool?!!”
When you travel with a child of eleven months in bkk. You want a swimmingpool. So it was in the filter of agoda so we where tinking there would be a swimmingpool. Also the hostel vibe we where used to is totally not found in this hostel. They are constructibg the pool so I supose it will be good in one year. Also at the counter you expect they can help you.. we used google translate and ecen then the lazy woman couldnt reply what we where searching for. For me a nog go..

Very nice staff and breakfast”
Cant say much about the hostel rooms since we were upgraded to another hotel on arrival - the centra hotel (4 stars) directly next to the chic hostel. There we had a great clean and spacious room with skyline view and bathroom. The hostel is directly across the bangkok central station which is a fast and cheap way to get to don mueang airport (only 5 baht by train in 40 minutes) or the suvarnabhumi airport (~65 baht with MRT+Skytrain in 45 minutes). and it is right on the edge to china town, where you can walk and explore. The breakfast is served in the centra hotel building so we had the same breakfast as hostel guests - and it was amazing. You can order eggs to your liking (omelette, fried, cooked) and there is warm thai food, soup, waffles, croissant, toast, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, fresh fruit. You can start your day perfectly here! It seems there is a pool as well for hostel guests but we did not use it. The area is quiet even though it is central and in traffic, and the rooms are on high floors which is even better.

Hostel with hotel facilities”
I had an amazing time at Chic Hostel Bangkok. You can enjoy the free breakfast buffet at the four star hotel next to the hostel. A great deal for backpackers :D I booked a 2-bed dormitory, but the other bed was not taken, thus I actually had a room for my own! It is located next to China town and very close to the MRT and railway station as well. I will definitively book this hostel again when I go back to BKK.

Clean and great breakfast ”
The Chic Hostel is amazingly clean, is situated in an excellent location, and has one of the best breakfast buffets in Bangkok. Upon check in a voucher is given, allowing access to the breakfast at the 4 star high rise hotel next door. The buffet is on the 12th floor, and offers one of the best views of Central Bangkok. The selection was amazing, offering Western and Thai menus. There is also an indoor pool, which we did not utilize, however, we did observe several families enjoying its cooling waters. The bathrooms are shared, but you can observe a cleaning lady ensuring maximum cleanliness throughout the day. The rooms are cleaned daily, unless you opt for do not disturb. Linens were some of the cleanest I’ve seen in Thailand thus far. Cons: No private areas to unwind from the madness of the area. The walls are definitely not soundproof, opening you up to construction noises outside, and the occasional neighbor talking. I woke up with hip pain, due to the hardness of the mattress. Overall, we would stay here again, but only for one night, due to the Hostel’s location and the complimentary buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, two nights was one night too many with the mattress
