Our rooms were clean and very nice. We loved the view. Having the bus take us back a forth to the subway was a added extra. But there was one day that they sent a van at peak hours to pick us up and there was no room for our family of 6 adults + 2 children to ride back, we waited for over hour and a half for a return bus. Then the driver seem to have an attude when he t...

This was my 1st time staying at comfort inn. Its a nice hotel, nothing big and fancy but just average rated hotel with good price. Location is at the center of Alexandria which will be good for shopping Its also near metro of south van dorn. I have really liked my stay and recommend any one who wants to stay

Definitely our best trip to DC - will definitely stay at the Embassy Suites in Alexandria again! Free Trolleys for King Street to wharf are a big plus - so easy to bike to DC or take the Water Taxi from the Wharf. Metro was closed but Blue Line Shuttle stops right in front of the hotel. Liked the free happy hour! Breakfast was good but a long line for omelets - cou...

This location was convenient and made commuting to DC during the week very easy. All staff interactions were friendly. The facilities could definitely use a makeover considering how busy this location was. The main door didn't touch the floor in my room so I could hear the traffic/commotion going on outside. Despite this my experience was good and I'd stay here agai...

Hotel allows smoking in rooms and they use chemicals with strong smells to cover up the odor. The chemical smell was strong-enough that I tried to switch rooms but was told they are all the same. Beds are quite old and lumpy. The TV was probably older than the bed - streaky picture and mostly talk channels. There were no shortage of bugs in the room. I've stayed in ...

The Comfort Inn Landmark offered good value for the money and convenient shuttle service to Van Dorn metro. The free breakfast Ihop options were very limited, but ok. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was decent and acceptable for our needs. We enjoyed our stay here and would use this hotel again in the future, when visiting Washington DC. There are al...

The room was very small for a family of 5 (and it was rated for 5 people). We did not have space to open suitcases fully nor were there any bureau. There was a small closet that was hard to reach. Bathroom area also was very small. Beds were comfortable. This was fine for a two nights and we made it work but the space was just not great for our family. Additionally, t...

This hotel has a pool with a life guard, a very nice outdoor area, a cute bar, an area to bring your own food in to eat. It also has a restaurant and several indoor lounge areas to sit and chat. This is a great hotel if you are traveling with a large group. Very nice buffet breakfast as well. I was very impressed for the price.

Very nice staff, very good breakfast . The Hotel very clean and organize , it's really good for your business trips. Nice and quiet place, you can relax after the long day work. Check in and check out fast and easy. The location very close to all the store, and shopping mall and just drive few miles to Washington DC.

Great location in the heart of Alexandria, welcoming staff and modern, clean rooms. We are big fans of Kimpton properties and this experience reinforced it — smaller hotel, contemporary design, complimentary happy hour, coffee/tea service, helpful people.

Great location and pricing. I'm giving 2 stars for cleanliness because there was something left on the shower curtain and we called the front desk and nothing was done. Upon checkout we addressed the problem again and couldn't get a discount or money taken from our bill. Also the hotel was under heavy renovations. We won't be going back.

We arrived on Xmas day and there was no staff available to check us in. One of the taxi staff went looking for the desk staff for us. A few things went wrong during our stay. Air conditioner/heater did not work consistently, no hot water on the first day, shower/bath did not drain properly, and the complimentary shuttle service from Pentagon City Mall failed to show up...

Negative people hanging around reception. One guest was hit in head and had a very bad cut in head and had a bloody towel in reception. Another guests car was towed. Manager said the hotel had towing company tow certain cars and did a check three times a day. The manager could not handle the problem. I had to help sort out difficulty. This made it very unsafe for me...

The hotel is dated. It could use some minor overhaul, ie; patchwork to walls, and painting. In saying all that, I really enjoyed the friendly staff, and the breakfast was better than most continental breakfast. If they remodeled, this place could easily be a 3.5-4.0 star hotel
