Stayed here for like 5 days and I can’t think of a single negative anything. The front desk staff are absolutely amazing and so helpful. It’s so refreshing to go check in or have any questions and the desk operator is so friendly and professional. It has been by far the best experience i have had. Simply amazing

This is more a top class Motel than a Hotel. 10 minute walk into town. (Hard uphill walk but easy returning). Staff very helpful. Shuttle service available to airport or rail station. If shuttle is free, driver only too happy to drive you to whereever you want. Facilities include gym, sauna and indoor pool which is open until late.

The moment we entered the hotel, We are already welcomed, and that's what makes me happy. And when I find out that the location of the hotel is very good, I directly gave the hotel a 4 to 5 star rating. If I were to visit anchorage again another day, I will definitely check if this hotel is available for my stay.

The rooms are very clean! Fitness center was small, but also very clean. Lots of places to eat, within walking distance. I had uber take me around, but not my first time here! Only one thing to watch out for, when asked at booking for mountain view, make sure you know what the weather will be like before spending the extra cash, I was there in dec. No view just snow t...

Hotels in Anchorage are expensive, and the Ramada is no exception. It has a motel flair throughout the entire property. Rooms are rather basic and not particularly well maintained (e.g. stained, loose carpeting). Staff was very friendly and even accommodated a late check-out request. The biggest plus is that the hotel is within walking distance to the downtown main str...

Very convenient for a night near the airport. Didn't seem to be much nearby for food, but they have tables in the lobby area where you could sit and eat some take out or delivery. Needed a shuttle at 0300, and it was prompt and a short ride...great service. Quick and friendly check in and check out. They have a huge parking area out back, so definitely consider th...

Let's get it straight: is this a brand spanking new five-star hotel? No. This is an older hotel in a part of Anchorage that has perhaps seen better days. That being said, it has character that you won't find anywhere else. In place of your cookie-cutter carpets at, say, a Marriott, it has old varnished hard-woods that money can't even buy anymore. The bedding was comfy...

What a great place! Ideally located on a small lake very close to the airport. Extremelly nice staff. Also a nice bar with live entertainment on certains evenings. Good food served at the bar and restaurant. A little bit on the pricey side but hey ... we only live once !!! So, enjoy Millenium Alaskan Anchorage.

I stayed for 6 days and from check in to check out, staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. At first we had difficulty figuring out the public transportation from the hotel to downtown... the front office agent assisted us by giving us a schedule. After figuring the bus system out, everything felt more accessible. There are nearby restaurants (walking distan...

The hotel has excellent facilities, including a self-service coin operated laundry, free WiFi and and free Internet use. The rooms are well furnished and in excellent condition and our room was spacious enough for us and our two older children. The buffet breakfast is basic, but we enjoyed the a la carte breakfast and dinner in Juno Restaurant. The staff were friendly ...

Arrived with a surprise that we need to share bathroom with guests from two other rooms and the living room. All three rooms are set up with a capacity of 3 guests so you can imagine how crowded it can be with full occupancy. The room is tiny for three people with ~$170 a night price tag. There are also guests living in the basement (not sharing the same bathroom but ...

Our original hotel reservations were cancelled one week before our vacation started. Needing a hotel with 3 rooms on that short of notice, I didn't have many choices. We were going to be in Anchorage for 10 days. I have to say our overall stay was not what I would expect of any hotel. Our room was never cleaned. At least they could have touched up our bathrooms.. Th...

I know this location is overcoming a few obstacles and the staff there right now is doing a spectacular job of getting this hotel in top shape! I think corporate ( from the very top, NO exclusions!) ABSOLUTELY SHOULD be made to come work the trenches for at least two weeks every year! I believe that with every corporation. After all without the fantastic hard working d...

Seems like the place gets lots of its guests from out of state tourist packages. I live in Alaska but not in anchorage and go in once in a while to shop. Id say it was a decent place for its price, which was very affordable. If your looking for a fancy room this is not it. Its an average room, but the views are amazing.

Our stay ened in disaster when one of the biggest quakes to hit Alaska struck at a 7.0 at the hotel. The staff responded with EXCELLENT professional first reaponder level expert, calm, collected and professional evacuation of all guests, and providing warm, dry and comfy accommodations while the building was double checked for people, and damage control. When the ...

This hotel was very nice the big tub was relaxing. I would say they need to update there bedding it looks kind of dirty and the decorative pillow it was a bit old and dirty too. The breakfast food was a bit cold may need to invest in a better heat warmer. Over all a nice stay.

Traveler impressions of Anchorage (AK)
Anchorage is an amazing place. From the spectacular Mountain views to the Ocean Anchorage really has everything for an outdoor enthusiast.
Anchorage pales in comparison to other large cities, but unless you are visiting for a business conference, you should only use this city as a way-station en route to the beautiful sights of Alaska outside of Anchorage.
