"We opted for Klapa resort for the last 2 nights of our stay in Bali. We were impressed from the get-go. Very courteous and organised staff at the reception had everything ready for us and had a smooth check in. They explained all the facilities at the resort. The room was the most spacious I have seen in any hotel and the golf view was very nice. The bathroom was also very spacious with a large bath tub and an additional shower cubicle. Room had ample storage cabinets. Bed was also comfy. Waking up to the rising sun was our best moment in the room after a sound sleep. Breakfast spread and the quality of food was just ok. This could use a bit more attention from the management. Probably the best part of our stay at the resort was the free access to adjoining Klapa beach restaurant and Dreamland beach, especially in this part of Bali very transportation options are limited, this saves you a lot of time and money. We spent a whole evening at the infinity pool overlooking the sea and sunset served by the most attentive staff which was the high point of our stay. The staff at the resort also arranged scooter on rent and meter taxi on time as requested. Overall we had a great couple of nights at Klapa resort and we were extremely happy with our choice. I would highly recommend Klapa resort to any travellers looking for a good accomodation at reasonable prices."

"My family with two young children stayed at the Prama Sabur Beach Bali Hotel in April 2017, for 6 nights. The location was fantastic, being right on the beach which has a gentle gradient. The resort is nestled among other resorts and a plethora of restaurants, shops, bars and spas. We love Sanur for it's old world, laid back feel, quite different from the frenetic sophistication of Seminyak or Canggu. The traffic here is also really light most of the time and we never had any of the dreadful traffic jams we have experienced elsewhere. We had a fourth floor room with direct views of the pool and the beach. It was lovely waking up early to experience the sunrise in the cool of the morning. The two pools were of very good size, with one of them designed for children and featuring an artificial beach and a set of straight and helical slides that the children loved. The staff were more than friendly and helpful and we wanted for nothing. If there is any negative point about the Prama, it is their food. We ate breakfast there only once and never again. We found it expensive for what was offered at the buffet . It was clearly mass catering with featureless cooked food, limp waffles, dry pancakes and the lowest grade of jams possible (the type that looks like coloured gel with absolutely no fruit inside of it). There were endless options for breakfast along the beach or on the main street outside so we weren't stuck for choice. There was an Easter Sunday buffet lunch at the Italian restaurant. The food was reasonably good, but very expensive for Bali. The saving grace was that kids under 12 ate for free and there was an Easter party for kids, with egg painting, treasure hunt, bashing a pinata, gift bags and refreshments, all very well organised for the kids. We would come back to the Prama Sanur if we wanted another beach holiday in Bali."

"We only discovered the Patra toward the end of our 2 week holiday in Bali. After going for a walk along the beach toward the airport, we stopped at the beach bar for a drink. Jaya who served us was really friendly, and answered a lot if questions we had on the Resort. He even went to reception and brought us back an information pack to go through. We went back to where we were staying (and had already paid for) and discussed the feasibility of spending a bit more and having some luxury for the last few days. Back to the Patra and asked if it was possible to see a room. The lady who we spoke to was lovely, and soon arranged for us to be taken to see 2 different rooms. From there, the decision was easy. I booked through Agoda on the spot (cheaper than direct) from the following day for 3 nights. Best move ever! The rooms were lovely (and quiet), the grounds were beautiful, breakfast was excellent, and all of the staff were fantastic. The next trip to Bali will be straight to the Patra! "

"We loved our stay here! It was a very quiet Hotel with lots of friendly staff, breakfast buffet was fantastic! On the beach but you don't have to be on the beach to enjoy it! Huge pool, short walk to all the Jimbaran Seafood restaurants for a very romantic sunset fresh seafood dinner. It's big but quiet, it has kept its traditional Bali Hotel atmosphere of Bali years ago. Very clean and tidy rooms and grounds. All good we had a great two days! Thank you. "

"This was my third trip to Bali since first visiting in 1977.I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Bali and would recommend this establishment very highly.Certainly it is a quieter and nicer venue than most (in this price range)in the Kuta area.We preferred to stay a little further out from the bustle and noise of Kuta.It has great grounds and a good quality/size pool. The hotel's shuttle will take you to Kuta but you must make your own way back.A metered taxi costs an average of 50,000 rupiah, (and about US$5 doesn't break the bank). I would recommend it and stay there again.Great shopping can be had between Kuta and the hotel. Nearby resturants are cheap an well worthy of a visit."

"Two weeks traveling around bali and this was definitely the best food and cocktails we had. Hotel is just 2 months old and not on everyone's radar but it is an absolute must for everyone. We stumbled upon it as we were going to go to bali safari...instead we relaxed in the beautiful pool bar and enjoyed gorgoues lunch and dinner in peaceful surroundings. We walked Along the black sand beach to be welcomed by lovely tourists going about their business. All in all I would highly recommend this peice of heaven hotel"

"My husband and myself always return to this Hotel as we love the quiet location, the relaxed vibe, the beautiful crystal clear pool, lush green grass and gardens and white Hampton style cottages and buildings all situated right in front of a great surfing beach. The staff are lovely, the restaurant has lovely food at very reasonable prices. The resort is never overly busy and crowded which is why it is so relaxing. People who complain about this hotel due to not being a 5 star resort with a million $$ price tag due to its location are obviously looking for a different type of resort. This hotel is for relaxed people looking for a relaxing holiday in the best location. Some of the best restaurants in Bali are situated within walking distance and/or a short drive away."

"I have been the Bali 4 times and this is the best hotel accomodation that I had so far. The stuffs were super friendly and helpful as they aid in preparing a surprise birthday design in my room for my partner. Everything turned out great and we really enjoyed our time there. The rooftop infinity pool is really nice for photography. Gym facility is great. Hotel rented us motorbike so that I can easily tour Bali by myself during my stay. And it was cheap as well, 75000rp/day. I am really satisfied with my stay and I hope to return again someday. Meanwhile, i will definitely recommend my friends to stay here. Worth the $$ 100%%%. Thank you to the lovely stuffs of infinity8 for the excellent service. You guys are amazing!!! "

Discover the Best Season to Visit Bali and Why

Bali is a beautiful island in Indonesia that attracts visitors from all over the world. One of the reasons why Bali is so popular is because of its tropical climate, which makes it a great destination to visit all year round. However, the best time to visit Bali is during the dry season, which runs from April to October. During this time, the weather is warm and sunny, making it perfect for exploring Bali's beaches, temples, and other attractions. If you're looking to save money on your Bali trip, consider visiting during the low season, which runs from November to March. While you may experience some rain during this time, the island is less crowded, and you can find great deals on hotels and flights.

Bali is known for its delicious and unique cuisine, which is a blend of Indonesian, Chinese, and Indian influences. One of the most popular dishes in Bali is Nasi Goreng, which is a fried rice dish that is typically served with chicken, shrimp, or vegetables. Another must-try dish is Babi Guling, which is a roasted suckling pig that is seasoned with a blend of spices and herbs. If you're looking for something sweet, try Bali's famous black rice pudding, which is made with coconut milk, palm sugar, and black rice. And if you're feeling adventurous, try some of the island's more exotic dishes, such as Sate Lilit, which is a spicy fish satay, or Bebek Betutu, which is a slow-cooked duck dish.
