Wonderful City. Had a great time. I'm so hopeful that all of their troubles are behind them. Would recommend to anyone looking for fascinating educational experience.
Belfast is a lively city steeped in history with its industrial expertise in a wide range of product development from Weaving Machines, Ships, Boats and Aeroplanes.
New products are wind turbines and IT systems.
Belfast experience improves every time I go there. Great place to go shopping with all the main retailers in the city centre.
Lovely bars and restaurants at affordable prices. People have become so friendly. Every time we asked for directions the person stopped to chat for a while. Lovely, warm, welcoming people. The Titanic visitors centre was really good and afternoon Tea there at the foot of the grand steps of the Titanic was a lovely "girlie" thing to do. The Market (ST George's I think), across from the Hilton, was great at the weekend with arts, crafts and lovely food, singing and great atmosphere. All in all it is a fab city to visit. We didn't experience anything unpleasant in the 3 days we were there.
Belfast city centre amazed us as it's quite compact you can't get lost as soon as we saw City Halls we knew where we were.
We still lots to see and do. Bus tour is very good
This is my third time in visiting Belfast, each time bringing a different friend. They have all really enjoyed the break.
Belfast has everything to offer, sight seeing, shopping, live music entertainment, various bars and restaurants and easy access to both airports. We would certainly come back again. You will love it!
I attended university in Belfast and re entry returned to the city and I was so impressed with how it has changed.
A lovely city seeped in history with great shopping and night life
Must go to the Waterfront and the Titanic Experience !!! also dont forget to enjoy the food there as well !!!!
Lovely city with fascinating history best way to learn about the troubles is via a black cab tour - excellent.
People very friendly.
Excellent for a long weekend break especially if you can tie in a show at the Waterfront or Odyssey Theatres.
