Biarritz hotels & places to stay

Hotel is situated in small quiet zone, together with another hotel, where you can find evening restaurant and 24-hour reception. From the railwaystation is 15 min walking, it's a good transit variant (beetween airport and railway station, but a little bit far from the center of the city). It's convenient that there's possibility of electronic self-registration when reception is closed. There's conditioning system, bathroom is small, but the room is comfortable.

This is a good hotel if you are passing through Biarritz and want to be close to the airport. It's not walking distance from the city, though, so you will have to get a taxi or bus into town. We did have a bit of trouble getting a taxi to come back at night but that may have been because it was high season. Overall fine for its purpose - can't complain.

Great location in Le Vieux Port and a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Room was small, but perfect for solo traveller.

i was very impressed with this hotel and would recommend it to friends and family. it was comfortable, tastefully furnished, and felt more like a b & b. great recommendations from where to go in biarritz from the hotel staff as well.

The hotel itself is nice, cute small room with everything that might be necessary, great location and no complains about the place in general. However the staff is unbelievable, some people speak zero english (or spanish, or russian or any other language except french) and 80% of the time there is no one on the reception, you have to be calling for help. In the night the door to the street was closed and again no one on the reception, we were lucky to get inside, because one guest was leaving, so he opened the door for us. I really don't understand why in the hotel in such a touristic place as Biarritz people do not bother to provide better service in the hotel. I guess its full anyway in summer season, so no need to apply an extra effort.

The hotel is very strategically located, near the beach and the surroundings with restaurants and cafes. Biarritz anyways is a small town. Nicely and modern design, attentive staff, willing to speak both english and french.

The hotel is well situated, but only if you do not have a car to park. There was nobody at the reception (6.10pm), despite having phoned to give our time of arrival (before 7 pm). The lady in charge explained that she was at the beach. The room (number 6) is too small, uncomfortable (no chairs, no table). The toilets were broken (repaired two days later) and the whole bathroom was run-down. The hotel is noisy, (although we were told it has double glazing), and smelly (particularly the staircase). The room was not cleaned every day and we had to ask for the toiletries to be restocked. In case of a problem, there was nobody available to deal with it before 9.30am. Finally, the hotel is not good value for the high price and we cannot recommend it.

The room was clean and nice looking. The bathroom_old style but very nice and special.The service was good and helpfull

I really want to stay in this hotel for the next time. very close to the beach, reasonable price, big room, most of all I loved cooking facilities ( I booked apartement room) , cleaning service was also nice and all the staffs were very kind and helpful. Thank you for the perfect holiday

We liked this hotel. The room was quiet, the hotel interior was peaceful. Nice breakfast again in a very sober room. Great location has we walked a lot discovering Biarritz. The room could have been a big larger and the front desk staff a bit "warmer".

The location was ideal for us - not right in the middle of the action but close enough (20 minutes) to walk to the seashore and to the village. The room (with ensuite) was very small but was clean, attractive and comfortable - we even had a tiny balcony. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel offered excellent value - very reasonably priced for the area. We did not eat in but the menu and the atmosphere looked good.

Hotel is nicely located with convenient free parking, this should be taken into account. However, it needs some maintenance and the room size is small, specially the bathroom which is tiny and has no ventilation at all. We didn't take breakfast so we cannot comment on that. Remember to arrive early because reception closes at night.

The hotel was in a good location close to the centre of Biarritz. The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful, and spoke good English. Room and bathroom were clean and modern. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but the reception staff were happy to make us a drink whenever we asked.

this is such a cute little place.. a direct shot to the ocean within a few minute walk, right across from a park. the rooms are really clean with windows that open for a nice breeze. bathroom looks to be newly remolded and nice, the staff are very kind. the young man speaks english which is always helpful. wifi is free and fast in the lobby. we were on the top floor and couldn't get a connection in our room most of the time but you only lose it right outside the room. so i assume it is good in the other rooms. there is a nice garden area in the back for sipping coffee or wine and relaxing. we didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, but we would definitely stay again if we found ourselves in biarritz.

The hotel was situated in a lovely part of the city centre of Biarritz. It was not as close to the main beach but still within walking distance (with a good view). But it is in front of a small and less busy beach called Plage du Port Vieux, where there is a cafe and where it was really lovely to have breakfast overlooking the beach. The room that I had at the hotel was nice and clean, with a small balcony overlooking the beach. It did not have air-conditioning but it wasn't that bad since the temperature dropped during the night. The hotel is within walking distance to all the main areas of Biarritz. The hotel kept my suitcases for me on my last day until I left Biarritz, and was able to call me a taxi without any problems.

The room itself is very good. Clean, quiet and next to the airport. Close to both Biarritz and Bayonne. The disadvantages for me are that I cannot open the window because it is at the passageway side.

The hotel is in an amazing, central location. Only downside is the streets are closed off in some areas on Sundays and it meant we couldn’t access the hotel car park. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but we’d booked a basic room so not surprising. The bed and shower were excellent and the room spotlessly clean. We would happily stay there again.

I've stayed in several hotels in Biarritz, and this is by far myfavorite. And it is unbeatbale value for money. We were there off-season, so be warned things may be different in the peak of summer... I had a room facing the ocean, silent except for the sound of the waves. The new owners have redone the decoration, not my taste, but it is new. The carpet in the hallways and stairs is in need of a good clean, but the rooms were spotless. Heating/lights/hot water etc all worked perfectly. Be warned that there is no elevator, and that there isn't anyone to help carry suitcases if you need it. However, a cook or waiter will probably offer to help.

Hotel is great. It next to the best beach in Biarritz. Center is not far. The restaurant on the beach is delicious and much better than restaurant in center for price, quality of food and view. Room is nice with air conditioner

I cannot complain about anything of the hotel. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and loved the room. But at the check-out, we were charged 15euro/night for parking at the backyard in the hotel 's premises. It was unexpected, as there was absolutely no infomation given to us about the parking fee and not even a parking ticket at the parking. Otherwise, it was a very nice.

we decided to stay another night as the hotel and biarritz was so enjoyable. the theatre garde du midi was a few minutes walk from the hotel,where there is quite a variety of shows. there is no private parking, but we were able to park in the road outside free, probably because it was january. restaurants were good, an allround good trip.

In need of modernisation...but the sea/beach view made up for that. Friendly & helpful staff, although needed to be accompanied anytime you wanted access to car in underground car park, via car lift..a little annoying, but on the other hand offered security for your vehicle.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was walking distance to almost everything in Biarritz. Ample parking right in front of the hotel that were not parallel lots. Bedroom was a bit small but very comfortably appointed. Fantastic Hansgrohe showers!

I was looking for a hotel with the sea view for the 15/08/09 as we didn't reserve any hotel in advance, it was very difficult and this hotel was the only hotel which still has one room with the view available. I immediatly booked it and was not regret at all. The room, the bathroom especially the terrace.. we love the room and it really worth the money to pay to stay there. Moreover, we can either to have our breakfast to be served in the room or in the restaurant (small buffet but with quality). We plan to be there again next year.

The location is what is the most special and important for this kind of town and type of trip, especially with the direct access to the main beach, Not even a road to cross! Also, they have large and varied facilities... Spa, gym, parking, etc. Finally the staff is really nice and attentive!(Though everyone in this town is very friendly) The design amd style of the furniture is a little bit outdated but still looks and feels good. (The room isn't so convenient though) Not sure about their restaurant.. but so many good ones are walking distance.
