Bien Hoa might not be a special city to visit, but that makes it so special. I traveled one day to the tourist centre of nearby SaiGon, and hated the fact that I was surounded by so many tourist.
I haven't seen any in Bien Hoa. I went to local bars, local restaurants, road side hairdressers, local discothek etc. Being the only white-man there (my partner is of Vietnamese origin). A motorcycle might be a must, as the city centres are far apart. However, make sure you have a vietnamese driverlicence (It takes more then a week to convert in HCMC, but I got mine in advance via vietnamesedrivinglicence com, for hundredfold the normal processingprice. I found that to be worth it )
It is mainly an area for business travelers with many offices in and around the Industrial park and about an hours drive or more from the main Ho chi minh city.
Quite limited in site seeing, attractions , night life and restaurants. Good for short business visits and stay.
