I stay overnight here with my partner to catch the airport flyer service from the railway station. I enjoyed the area around the Ibis Hotel as there were some good attractions there an aquarium obviously closed at night and a casino which I don't like but looked nice at night and a bridge with a fog machine which was fun.
Plenty places to eat and nice and clean area. Only saw one junky beggar which was good and didn't get hassled at all. We walked around the harbour and looked at the old boats and ships which was nice also walked along the canal back to the train station a longer route but nice walk. I went to Easton a few months back and found the locals very friendly and helpful but not a particularly nice place to visit. I would like to come to Bristol for a day out and maybe go to a music event or nightclub with some friends and stay over and have a look around in the daytime!
Very busy town. Cyclists are a nightmare, dangerous and inconsiderate - they cycle on the pavements, shoot over red lights at crossings and weave in and out of pedestrians.
some interesting attractions though.
too much graffiti or some may call art,too many beggars homeless people,i lived here for 40 years i have been away for 10 i could not live here ,too dangerous at night
