Calgary (AB) hotels & places to stay

i traveled to calgary with my mom, husband and cousin to check the stampede show, despite that we were able to stay just 1 night in best western, we were really happy about the hotel, common area is a little bit dark but rooms are very cozy, located nearby lrt station so it's easy to get around, and the breakfast was spectacular, they were kindly giving 4 of us breakfast that was included in the price that i was paying, so i thought for the value, it was worth it to stay there and i'd really love to stay there again next time when i revisit calgary.

We stayed overnight here whilst in Calgary. Service was great so were the facilities. Free airport transfers were great

Great position for attending the Calgary Stampede. Easy walk to the show ground. Had nice, comfortable room. Had long wait one morning for breakfast order (over 30 minutes). The buffet breakfast was good but the food needed to be hotter.

Good location at downtown of the city. The price is acceptable; hotel room is neat and clean. Elevator was a pain as it always took appx 10' to get a lift. The last time I have to use stairs instead.

Very attractive price for one night stay near Calgary airport. They have shuttle bus to the airport, so it's a good option if you have very early flight. But you must book the shuttle bus at the front desk as early as possible, otherwise you may not be able to get on it. They also offer very simple breakfast. What else can you expect for such a price?

This is quite an expensive hotel and is not near the city center, BUT they have good facilities and is definitely worth it. You'll have a good night sleep after a long day. However, we never were contacted about the powerbank and cord charger that we left in our room. We checked out early but had a good 30 mins left in the lobby but we're not informed of the lost item. We just figured we left it when we boarded our van and we remembered leaving the powerbank at the table near the bed :(

If you are out and about enjoying Calgary and you need a place to crash, then I would highly recommend this hotel. The location worked out really well and is very close to all the best restaurants too. The room was decent, clean sheets but overall old and can definitely work on renovating. Overall customer service was good but can definitely improve by acknowledging the customer making eye contact rather than staring at the screen while addressing customer issues. I will definitely visit again if I need a place to crash!

The rooms are big, pretty and very well equipped with a little kitchen, a small living room and a bed that can be put away. It is just across a supermarket which makes it really convenient and it is within walking distance of the main attractions in Calgary (which are not many). And its wonderful that breakfast was included. It was a traditional breakfast with cereal, bread, coffee, fruit. Nothing fancy but good. The night staff were really helpful and friendly but the morning staff not that much.

Close to the airport, so an easy transfer to the hotel the next morning. Free airport shuttle was a huge plus. I wouldn't stay here if I wanted to visit Calgary, but a good option for one night since our main objective was the airport.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great rates. The hotel is layed out well and the pool and water slide are clean and well kept up. The fitness room is modern and well equipped for a hotel. The included breakfast is amazing with a huge variety of choices. The only complaint we would have would be the size of the portions served in the dining room . But all in all this is our favorite hotels in Calgary. Excellent

Excellent . We had a wedding and booked this hotel for many of our guests from different parts of the world. The rooms were huge and kitchenette was well equipped. The beds were comfortable lighting was bright . Every day the menu for free hot breakfast was changed and there was a very wide choice of eggs sausages bacon potatoes etc lots of different breads and bakery products tea coffee juice cereals fresh fruits yogurt etc. Our guests were delighted with the idea that they could eat at hotel itself. It was close to safeway and the microwave and fridge and coffee maker and electric cooking range with pots and pans and dishes meant a lot to us we could really be all in one room and eat and talk and be family together or stay apart and enjoy own time too. Parking was free and wifi worked well . Elevators and utility areas like laundry room dining room gym etc all had security due to key service All of us were very happy with this homely yet geared towards business guests hotel in downtown calgary. Thanks to all staff and jason for looking after us

Very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent hot continental breakfast - beast sausage and scrambled eggs I’ve had in a restaurant! Only reason I didn’t give all “5 stars” is because there is no restaurant near by however, hotel offers shuttle service to a variety of retauatants. This service was wonderful. “Bob” our shuttle driver was wonderful!

I was somewhat disappointed but things could be changed so that people like me would be happy with our stay. Things need to be fixed up, maintained better, charge a bit more but get things fixed and then the location should be getting nothing but good reviews. There are people there who are trying their best but are perhaps not organized the best, wish I had more positive things to say.

I'm not one to spend too much money on accommodation as I don't typically spend too much time in the hotel room. However, I think I might have converted myself. The extra money put in to stay at a luxury hotel was so worth it. The rooms were large, had enough space for four people to move around comfortably. Facilities were amazing. Pool and hot tub felt like a private spa and added great value for the cost. Staff was friendly and the location of this place is in the heart of downtown so you can't go wrong. The only issue I have with this place is that there is no free WiFi. That makes no sense to me and I couldn't justify paying an extra $12-$15 dollars a night for something that you can get for free pretty much anywhere else. Other than that, my group and I had a great stay.

We had a decent stay. Free parking, pet friendly for an extra $15/day, room was clean, beds were comfy, friendly staff, free breakfast. We'd stay here again for the price.

A very nice, simple and clean hotel that fitted my budget and needs. The breakfast is not continental as told by front staff - it is more. There is a nice assortment of foods items available for breakfast. The parking is the only area that I feel needs improvement. It is small, tight and horrendous - I can easily see how accidents may occur in the parking lot.

We had an enjoyable stay at your hotel. The staff were very accommodating, even advancing the date of check-in by one day to make up for an error in booking we made. We hope to come stay with you later in December. We hope you will give us yet another good deal! All the very best! Raj and Joy

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and accommodating. There was some renovations going on but they did not bother us at all and they were done very early in the evening. The changes they are making are looking very good. The pool was a nice salt water. There is a family of lop eared bunnies living in the back that were so adorable and fun to watch. The exercise facility could use some upgrading. The complimentary breakfast was average, no complaints.

We arrived late at night after a flight from London and the shuttle service to the hotel was very convenient. Hotel is fine for a short stay - close to airport and easy to get a shuttle transfer to car hire locations. The room was clean and comfortable but facilities are fairly basic and breakfast was very simple. I’d certainly recommend the hotel for an overnight stay but you have to manage your expectations.

Hotel staff was really helpful. Breakfast was reasonable but not the best. There are many restaurants around to have dinner. We really liked the one called Seoul barbecue. Definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is what we always need. The rate is reasonable and it's good for family and kids.location is great also have a lot of restaurants close by. Will definitely return.thanks so much for everything

Great location if you got business in NE Calgary. Up to Sheraton standard. Rooms are large clean and comfortable.

Staffs are professional and friendly. Breakfast is basic, but the place is well maintained. One night of my stay was full house, but it was not noisy at all.

I’ve stayed in a few Hilton’s but this one was very good , great room , great staff willing to help with everything.

This is one of my top favorite hotels to stay at in Calgary. The rooms are always clean and comfy, the breakfast is amazing, and the staff are super friendly. I've only had one semi-negative experience and that was when we were on the main floor (we'd always had an upper floor room before), the room was super cold (wintertime - really bad coldsnap too). I checked the window but it seemed closed (I even gave it a good push to see if it could close further). We had the heat going full blast and the floor was still pretty cold. In the morning, my dad checked the window again and saw that it was open just a crack. He had to really push on it to close it. Other than that, we've never had a bad experience. The breakfast is really amazing. My mom was in the hospital earlier this year and we stayed various times at this hotel. They switch out the hot breakfast every day. The beds are very comfortable and my dad *loves* the pillows. It's a shame they don't have a hotel on the south side too.

First time think it's kinda expensive but when I arrived hotel room. OMG. I love it so much. I booked in king size room non-smoking. I love how they have all facilities in the room and hotel. Staff very nice (spacially Mike) either other staff. breakfast very good. Very convenient too train and it is in dowtown. I love the fact. We can just walk to everywhere too. I'd go back there again. <3

Best value for money. Close to the airport, 24 hr pickup, spacious - and I mean spacious - room with excellent breakfast with lots of hot / cold choices. This was our first stay at the hotel but will not be my last.

Needed a quick connect to a place nearby as we got into Calgary after a long day's journey. Thankful for Agoda to get us a good rate. All in all an ok place to stay. No complaints.
